Holy Crap Batman!

Well, the third season is well underway and it's dark as fuck.

Curious what people think about it now. Personally I really enjoy it. Reading the comments from two years ago some of the criticism seems to come from people expecting it to be something different than what it is.

Perhaps I am at an advantage because I'm neither a comic guy nor a detective show addict. Whatever genre it's supposed to be, it entertains me greatly with the larger than life characters, some of which I'm vaguely familiar with, and the stories despite being wildly over the top have a good sense of continuity.

I came into the show with no expectations, and find it very refreshing.
