With the year over we decided to award the Try Hard Ruler of the Year.  This was an award for what Ian and I felt was the best Try Hard Ruler of the Week nomination.  As you'll have heard on show 131 it was a tough decision to make, but I think we made the right one in the end.

In a nutshell; A family has been charged and held on a £250,000 bail (so you know this shit is serious) for staging a kidnapping of their own son and telling him he's going to be sold into the sex trade, all because they thought he was "Too trusting of strangers".
