S1, EP4 - WHAT DID THE FOX SAY?

I've got an interesting one for ya this week.

Remember a few weeks ago when we debuted Talos, the God Among Men? Well, I must say that the idea was a smashing success, and the live crowds are really starting to take to the character. He still can't work a lick, but he's really starting to get over. Kinda reminds me of Dirty Dick Slater. Guy was stiffer than a swig of moonshine, but boy did the crowd love to boo him. Also, who doesn't like a guy named "Dirty Dick"?

But anyway, back on subject, we seem to have a bit of a problem. As you know from either remembering or clicking the magic link above, Alicia Fox is the valet for Talos and is one of the big reasons he's gotten over. Alicia just seems to have a way to get crowds to not like her. But the other night, she got lit up on wine and ecstacy and caused a huge disruption at a downtown strip club. After trying to commandeer the stripper pole and/or make out with one of the pole dancers, police were called to the scene. She cut a scathing promo on the cops. I don't know exactly what she said, but long story short, she may have started the night with booze and pills, but she ended it with a tazer shot and a trip downtown. In a PR move, Vince has sent Alicia off to rehab instead of outright releasing her. But that leaves us in a lurch in terms of Talos.

Your task this week is to call an audible with the Talos situation. Vince very much wants to carry on with the character and his push, but the direction will need to change due to Alicia's absence. Mock up another four weeks of television and a PPV appearance. Deadline is Friday night @ 8:00 PM Eastern.

We've got our first submission of the week!

In this one, a certain second-generation Diva orders Talos to attack a WWE Hall of Famer!

Quote
MEOW LIKE AN EGYPTIAN

WEEK1 TALOS IS SEEN IN A MOCK BACKSTAGE EGYPTIAN TOMB KNELT ON ONE KNEE. HE IS SAT PRAYING TO A STATUTE WHICH IS OUT OF VIEW ON FIRST GLANCE. HE SAYS THAT HIS DUTY OF PROTECTOR OF EUROPA IS NOW FINISHED...AND HE IS LOOKING FOR A SIGN FROM THE GODS FOR HIS NEXT DUTY OF PROTECTION. AS THE CAMERA PANS AROUND HE SEES A MASSIVE CAT STATUE AS WORSHIPED IN EGYPTIAN TIMES FOR THEIR CONTROLLING OF VERMIN SUCH AND KILLING OF SNAKES..

WEEK2 THERE IS A WWE LEGENDS SKIT BACKSTAGE WHERE JIMMY SNUKA IS WITH HIS DAUGHTER TAMINA. JAKE THE SNAKE WALKS IN AND HIM AND SNUKA TALK ABOUT OLD TIMES. JAKE ASKS WHY TAMINA IS GIVING HIM THE COLD SHOULDER AS SHE SEEMS VERY OFF WITH HIM. SHE SAYS AT SURVIVOR SERIES 1990, JAKE ROBERTS WAS NOT ON HIS GAME AS A TEAM CAPTAIN WHICH LEAD TO HER FATHER NOT GETTING TO THE ULTIMATE SURVIVAL MATCH AND A CLEAN SWEEP OF THE VIPERS BY THE VISIONARIES, FOOTAGE OF WHAT CAN BE SEEN ON THE WWE NETWORK, BECAUSE OF THAT HER FATHER NEVER GOT THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVED. JIMMY TRIES TO STOP TAMINA, BUT SHE SAYS ITS SIMPLE...HER FATHER SPENT FAR TOO LONG WORSHIPING AT THE FEET OF PEOPLE LIKE ROBERTS AND NOT ENOUGH TIME WORSHIPPING HIS DAUGHTER. THE SAME JAKE ROBERTS WHO COULDNT LEAD THEM TO VICTORY. SHE STORMS OFF AS WE FADE, JIMMY IS TRYING TO APOLOGIZE TO JAKE.

WEEK 3. TAMINA IS BACKSTAGE ENTERING THE BUILDING WHEN TALOS APPROACHES HER. HE SAYS SHE REMINDS HIM OF CLEOPATRA HERSELF A WOMAN WHO WORSHIPPED CATS. AN EGYPTIAN GODDESS WHO SHOULD BE WORSHIPED AND PROTECTED. TAMINA IS FLATTERED AND SAYS TALOS CAN START BY PROTECTING HER AGAINST THE BIGGEST SNAKE IN THE WWE...JAKE ROBERTS!?!?! TALOS SAYS IT WOULD BE HIS HONOUR...AND THAT IT IS A SIGN FROM HIS GODS TO PROTECT TAMINA.

WEEK 4. JAKE ROBERTS IS IN THE RING WITH SUPERFLY FOR SOME WWE LEGENDS SKIT. AS MICHAEL COLE THANKS THEM ALL FOR NOT BEING DEAD AND CASTING FURTHER DOUBT OVER THE WELLNESS POLICY OF THE WWE. TALOS MUSIC HITS AND OUT HE WALKS WITH TAMINA. HE CUTS A PROMO ABOUT THE EGYPTIAN GODS WORSHIP OF CATS AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN AND THAT TAMINA IS HIS GODDESS...HE THEN ATTACKS SUPERFLY WHO HE ACCUSES OF NOT WORSHIPING HER CORRECTLY, HIS OWN DAUGHTER! JAKE TRIES TO HELP, GOES FOR A DDT, BUT TAMINA HITS HIM WITH A DOUBLE AXE HANDLE. TALOS GRABS JAKE AND HITS THE HAMMER OF THE GODS LEAVING HIM DEAD IN THE RING. HE BENDS DOWN ON ONE KNEE AND WORSHIPS AT THE FEET OF TAMINA GODDESS OF EGYPT.

Hey Dream. Quick couple of questions

1 - Are we just doing this to kill time until Alicia comes back, or are we replacing her with someone else/putting Talos on his own?
2 - If we are keeping Alicia in the mix is she gonna be back by the PPV or is this gonna be an extended absence?
3 - If we're replacing her does it have to be with someone on the active roster, or can we call up someone from NXT?

From what I hear, Alicia is in rehab for 90 days. Which in WWE time, is an eternity. Vince wants to replace her, since he's high on the Talos character and doesn't want to wait a minimum of three months to continue.

2 - If we are keeping Alicia in the mix is she gonna be back by the PPV or is this gonna be an extended absence?

See above

3 - If we're replacing her does it have to be with someone on the active roster, or can we call up someone from NXT?

Anyone would have to be under some form of WWE contract as of today.

Another submission in place.

I can almost hear the JBL commentary now. "...Callisto! He called her Callisto, Maggle! Callisto! CallistoCallistoCallisto! CALLISTO! RUBIK'S CUBE! EDDIE GUERRERO! I LIVE IN BERMUDA! STAN HANSEEEENNN!! ..." at which point, his head would just explode.

Quote
Right Dream, I think I've got this nailed - we're gonna take an angle off Miz because, well, he's a bit shit if we're laying all the cards on the table. We're gonna have Talos going all stalkery on Naomi, calling her some other greek goddesses name that Zeus was shagging... Lets go with Callisto. This'll build up a feud with the Uso's to fill the gap, we'll make the Uso's look heroic but have Talos look big, strong and monstrous. It's gonna be tricky - he ain't much of a talker if I remember rightly, so we're going to have to book his actions well;

Week 1
RAW - Uso's against whoever, it's not important. They win, cut to backstage of Naomi watching on the monitor, bouncing happy, skips off. Camera pans to show the giant Talos stood there watching, then just says one word "Callisto..."

Week 2
RAW - Naomi goes over Summer Rae or someone equally shite. Later on in the show, Renee Young is interviewing Naomi when this hand comes into shot mid sentence and strokes her hair. Naomi jumps a mile and freaks out a little. Another pan shot to Talos, who says "Callisto..."

SMACKDOWN - Uso's against Cesaro/Tyson Kidd. Uso's on the verge of winning when a freaked out Naomi runs down the ramp screaming for Jimmy (He's the husband, right?) and pointing to the entrance ramp. Talos lumbers down slowly, Naomi freaks some more. Jey (the non husband Uso) goes for a splash over the ropes, Talos catches him and rams him into the apron - providing juuuuust enough distraction for Jimmy and Naomi to escape.

WEEK 3
RAW - Naomi in a match with Paige, Paige about to win and is setting up for the PTO/Scropion crosslock submission. Talos comes to the ring again, grabs Paige by the throat, ref DQ's Naomi. Before Talos can actually do any damage to Paige the Uso's come down and waffle talos with a chair. Jimmy needs to sell being pissed beyond ALL belief. They hightail with Naomi, Talos is down for a MAXIMUM of 5 seconds before getting up unphased, gets a mic and just says "Callisto... (Dramatic pause) MINE!"

SMACKDOWN - Interview with the Uso's and a terrified Naomi. Uso's going all Uso crazy telling Talos to stay away from Jimmy's woman. Thrust of the interview is "This ain't no game, you stay away from my woman or shit's gonna get CRAZY".

Week 4
RAW - Uso's against Dust Bro's, naomi at ringside. They get the win, but instead of their entrance music, Talos' music plays, he comes down, brawl ensues. Jey gets a burning hammer throgh the announce table, Talos picks up Naomi and puts her over the shoulder, Jimmy smashes Talos in the back of the knee with a chair halfway up the ramp, Jimmy/Naomi run for it.

SMACKDOWN - Backstage dark light segment with talos - very simple "Uso's die... Callisto be mine..."

PPV
Handicap match, Talos Vs. Uso's. Talos dominates this match - ragdolling the Uso's, catching their high risk moves, no selling punches, etc. Finish comes with Ref bump, Naomi comes to the ring and smack Talos in the back of the knee with a foreign object (lets go with lead pipe, that's always a good one). Double superkick, double rollup, Uso's win. Talos gets up immediately and kicks the living shit out of Jimmy Uso while Naomi screams.

You can take it from there Dream - either you can carry on with this angle until Fox gets back, or you can take him somewhere else - but it'll give him a good outing against the tag champs and show he can beat up more than just jobbers. what d'ya think?

This one has Talos in league with Rusev and Lana, only for Rusev to turn on him. This leads to Talos (and Eva Marie) ending Rusev's win streak!

Quote
Week 1:
RAW - Talos defeats Erick Rowan in a hard hitting match. After the match Lana and Rusev come out. Lana is clapping and calls Talos over. Talos exits the ring and walks backstage with Lana. Later in a backstage segment he is shown shaking hands with both Lana and Rusev.

Smackdown - Rusev defeats Ryback after a ref bump followed by a belt shot to the face. Ryback attacks Rusev post match and Talos comes down to make the save.

Week 2:
RAW - Talos defeats Ryback after interference from Rusev. Rusev and Talos beat down Ryback post match until Erick Rowan makes the save.

Smackdown - Talos and Erick Rowan fight to a no contest after Rusev and Ryback get involved. All four wrestlers brawl before being separated.

Week 3:
RAW - Lana issues a challenge to Ryback and Rowan to face her New Superpowers in a match at the pay-per-view. Ryback comes out with Rowan and they accept. Ryback and Rowan come down to the ring but Talos, Lana, and Rusev leave before an altercation happens.

Smackdown: Talos defeats Heath Slater

Week 4:
RAW - Rusev and Talos defeat Los Matadores. After Ryback and Rowan defeat Miz and MizDow, Rusev and Talos come down to the ring and attack them. A pull apart brawl ensues and ends with the two teams being escorted to the back by officials.

Smackdown - Talos defeats R-Truth

Pay-per-view: In the show opener, Ryback and Erick Rowan defeat Talos and Rusev after Rusev walks out on Talos after accidentally being hit by him. Post-match Talos attacks both Rowan and Ryback with the Hammer of the Gods move. The crowd cheers wildly over this. Talos then heads to the back to find Rusev.

Talos finds Rusev and they fight with Talos getting the upperhand. The Authority breaks it up. Talos asks for a match against Rusev to prove his superiority over him. They argue and The Authority finally agrees to shut them both up.

Backstage later Talos is shown worshiping someone who is then revealed to be his new object of worship but is not shown.

In the last match before the main event, Talos with his new manager Eva Marie defeats Rusev with the Hammer of the Gods to win the United States Championship. The crowd loves it and the announcers put over Talos ending Rusev's undefeated streak.

This one has NXT diva Alexa Bliss debut as a Greek goddess sent to guide a lost Talos.

Quote
It something that we can do that very simply . We know that fox is going to come back . we set up a temp replacement and work to get a rival built for Talos down the road.

here is my 4 week plan , now not going to say much about the matches , we can work that out at a later date , this as more to deal with the segments  to build up the replacement .  first is who should we bring in to stand in for Fox, there are a few divas now that could fill that role. but I think bring up one from NXT would be better thing. because hey if it does not work we can always send her down and pretend it did not happen.  I like the rookie Alexa Bliss think she can pull off the sweet nice girl that has a mean evilness underneath that I feel we need to project to get this over.

Week 1 - Here we need to show that Talos is lost without Fox. He win a his match , but he bother and confused.  He goes to pray to the gods for guidance for help . That were we bring in Bliss , In white golden light , she can explain she has been sent to help him , that the gods has taken Fox for something else of importance , but she wishes you well , but now I am here to help spread your message that the gods must be followed again

Week 2 - here is were we build on this , we need to show that Talos has gotten more aggressive in nature , but Bliss needs to project a sweetness that borders on 50's housewife.  I would like to have Talos go after a title here , maybe the us title or Intercontinental title ... I think the IC title would work better . We have Talos jump the IC champion in the back , we have him destroy opponents and over due it after the match ,  need to show a contrast between his attitude  and her attitude ( there a payoff to come later )

Week 3 - continue with the build , Bliss could do some promos showing off her sweet side , explain that Talos is here to help , yes he aggressive , but he just be man that loves to fight , he does not mean any harm . he just wants to be the best.  We set up a title match at the ppv for the IC belt . Standard build up for a title match.

Week 4 -  PPV is the big pay off , were we can get a segment that has Bliss alone praying to alter , we that a black shadow appears an d Bliss explains that everything  is coming to pass , that Talos is spreading the gospel of hate and war through the WWE , that Fox is held prisoner some other place. That Ares will rise again .

This set ups a few things ... one , we can bring Fox back at later date  have a built in rivalry set up right away , we can also set up a new rival for Talos or intro a new wrestler down the line to either be Ares or is an avatar of Ares .  Think this will work well for us

With this one, Talos loses his guiding light and goes on a monstrous rampage, before finally finding his new goddess!

Quote
Okay boss, we need to turn chicken shit into chicken salad.  This Fox chick has royally fucked up this angle, but Talos has gotten over to the point where we can save it.  We're going to show that the loss of Alicia was basically the loss of any sort of control that anyone had over this beast.

RAW #1 - After a match, the commentary team throws it to the back where there is a disturbance.  We go back to the catering area, where things are in complete disarray.  Tables overturned, holes in the walls, a few jobbers lying motionless on the floor (think Los Matadores).  The cameraman catches up to Talos, who is on a rampage.  He keeps screaming one word, over and over again.  "GODDESS!!"

The camera follows him as he continues to wreck shit, until Talos sees the camera following him.  Talos attacks the cameraman, and we go to black.  Commentary puts over that he is a dangerous man, and he is unhinged.

Raw #2 - During a lower tier match (Kofi vs Titus O'Neil, or something like that), Talos comes out, with no music.  He hits his finish on both men, all the while screaming "GODDESS!!" at the top of his lungs.  The ref tries to calm him down, but he is hit with his finish as well.  Other refs come to his aid, and one by one he takes them out with punches, kicks, powerbombs, and his finisher.  J&J Security comes out, and they meet the same fate.  Talos leaves, on his own, still screaming.

Raw #3 - Talos is booked in a 2 on 1 handicap match, against Kofi and Titus (who are putting their differences aside for mutual revenge).  The rest of The New Day accompany them, but Talos runs through all 4 men like a buzzsaw.  He continues his rampage, by attacking Lillian Garcia.  He teases his finisher on her, and JBL makes the save....only to get destroyed for his troubles.

Raw #4 - The show has barely begun, and Talos is already in the ring.  Everyone is too afraid to confront him, the commentary/ring announcer/time keepers/cameramen all abandon their posts.  Talos destroys the commentary area, and proceeds to cause the ring to collapse by pulling the post away from it's mooring.  He then turns to a (planted) fan, and pulls him over the railing.  Before he can do too much, the entire (lower tier) face roster comes out to stop him.  They essentially pile on top of him to keep him down, so that the police can cuff him and arrest him.

After the next match, footage is shown of Talos breaking the cuffs and escaping, all the while screaming "GODDESS!!" as he has been.

PPV - A #1 Contender Diva's battle royal is held.  Talos comes out, and enters the ring.  All the Diva's bail, except for Summer Rae, who Talos prevents from leaving.  He screams "GODDESS!!" and Summer is terrified.  It looks as if he is about to attack her, when he drops to his knees and bows to her.  Summer looks very confused.  A referee enters the ring, and tries to guide Summer out of the ring.  The second he touches her, Talos attacks him, knocking him from the ring, before returning to his bow.  Summer looks confused for a minute, until a devilish look crosses her face.  She now understands that Talos sees HER as his goddess, and will obey HER.

Commentary puts over what a big deal it is, speculates on what Summer will have him do, etc.  And *poof* now we have a new lady with Talos, and he is MORE over as a monster than before.

This next one has Talos get revenge on his new Goddess' behalf.

QuoteRaw week 1

We'll have the announcers talking about the fact Alicia Fox has been removed from tv due to her actions. A little unorthodox I know but trust me on this.

Later in the night we'll have Talos roaming through the back looking lost. Several of the lower tier wrestlers scramble out of his way as he walks past them and makes his way to the divas locker room.

You can hear the screams of the divas before a few of them run out. The camera tries to enter the room but the door is slammed in their face and blocked off.

Raw week 2

Opening match. Diego vs Xavier Woods
A good back and forth match until Talos' music hits and he comes slowly down to the ring.  Woods and Diego both stop and prepare to attack Talos both knowing what he's capable of. Talos slides in to the ring and is quickly met with stomps from the two. He shakes them off and begins to lay both men out with chops and punches. The ref calls for the bell and motions for help as Talos is destroying both men. He picks Diego up and plants him with a powerbomb on top of Woods. He poses over the bodies of the two men for a bit before quietly leaving the ring.

Smackdown week 2
Replay of the previous Raw

Raw week 3
Another early match Fernando vs Kofi
Once again Talos comes out to the ring and destroys both men before powerbombing Fernando on top kofi.

This time we'll have the announcers trying to guess as to why he's attacking these men.

Later in the night we'll have Renee being the unlucky one to try and question Talos.
When asked why he's attacking Los Matadors and the new day members. His only response is "Goddess commands it"
We'll use this to fuel speculation that Aliciais still around.

Raw Week 4

Tag team match between Los Matadors and The New Day.  Big E will be on the outside serving as a lookout for Talos.  Decent match before Talos' music hits. Big E runs up the ramp to meet him and two of them exchange blows before he gets leveled with a big boot. Talos stalks down to the ring. Kofi and Xavier slide out of the ring and go after Talos who tossed them into the ring barriers like rag dolls. Diego and Fernando are still in the ring afraid of coming out. Talos stares at the two of them before pulling himself into the ring. Los Matadors try to attack him but are instead grabbed by their heads and slammed in to each other knocking then down.

Talos requests a mic as he stands over them.

"Goddess commands"

Rosa Mendes makes her way down to the ring dressed in Alicia's old Goddess attire. She takes the mic and we'll let her shoot on Alicia making reference to her being a false goddess and how Talos now has a true goddess worth worshipping. She then berates Los Matadors for abandoning her for a stupid bull and how they're going to pay for not worshipping her. Announces Los Matadors and El Torito will face Talos at the PPV.

She signals to Talos who stacks the two men on top of each other and powebombs them out of the ring.

PPV

Talos vs Los Matadors is an utter destruction that really shows off Talos powers. End the match has Rosa celebrating with Talos as she looks down at Los Matadors laughing.

And finally, a "short" betrayal leads to the return of a former World Champion!

Quote
What does a God Among Men do without his Goddess? Let's find out...

Week 1

RAW: Talos is fuming before his match against Justin Gabriel, as commentators make note that his "Goddess" hasn't been seen lately. A short, brutal match ensues as Talos is clearly not looking for a victory, instead beating on Gabriel to the point where the ref calls for a stoppage. Talos continues his attack, causing a DQ win for Justin Gabriel when Talos does the unthinkable: he grabs Gabriel, launching him off the ring apron onto the announce table. Talos hangs his head as he sulks to the back.

Main Event: Recaps from RAW illustrating the carnage Talos lays upon Justin Gabriel. "Without his Goddess, what kind of warpath could Talos be on!?"

Smackdown: Talos is set to take on Fandango when suddenly the lights go out, and we cut to the Titantron where a shadowy figure is shown calling for Talos. "Talos! The gods have called for you to move on without your Goddess, and only I can lead you to glory!" Fandango takes this opportunity to sneak attack Talos, but that proves unfruitful as a seemingly refocused Talos gets a clean pinfall win over the dancer.

Week 2

RAW: Talk about what happened on Smackdown comes up as Talos takes on Titus O'Neil, with Heath Slater and Hornswoggle (in gator suit, of course) watching on. Titus looks like he might give Talos a run for his mo--nope, Talos finishes him off with the Hammer of the Gods for the pinfall victory. Heath looks to get revenge, but Talos makes short work of him as well. He glares at Hornswoggle, who slowly just backs away before leaving...but not out of fear?

Main Event: Recaps of last week and this week. Questions arise as to who is trying to guide Talos in his Goddess' place?

Smackdown: Before his scheduled match with R-Truth, Talos comes out to the stage as the shadowy figure from last week appears on the Titantron again. The figure looks on as Talos makes short work of R-Truth, before the lights cut out. When the lights come back on...Hornswoggle appears in the ring, dressed in Greek regalia!? The gigantic Talos kneels before the diminuitive Swoggle to the shock and confusion of absolutely everyone.

Later in the show, we're backstage as Talos is flanked by Hornswoggle as Renee Young attempts to interview either/both of them for answers.

"Hornswoggle, last week..."

"First of all, I refuse to answer by that name any longer. You can call me Erebus, for I am god of the darkness. For far too long I've had to stand in the shadows of everyone in the WWE, to the point where I've embraced it. I've found a charge that can deliver my message, the God Among Men known as Talos. With Talos by my side, all shall fall into darkness."

Week 3

RAW: With the newly-christened Erebus by his side, Talos destroys both Matadores in a handicap match before Erebus lays out an open challenge for the PPV...

"BOOYAKA BOOYAKA..."

Moments later, Rey Mysterio makes a big return to the pop of everyone in the arena. Talos and Erebus are laughing, but Rey looks confident he can take on the giant.

Main Event: Recap from RAW, and generally trying to make sense of Erebus while selling the Davd vs Goliath matchup that is Rey vs Talos at the PPV.

Smackdown: Rey makes his in-ring debut taking on Fandango, but the match is interrupted when Talos comes in, looking to destroy anything in his way. Rey manages to take Talos to his limit, getting him on a knee before being struck down with some sort of cane by Erebus. Rey rolls out of the way before Talos can destroy him.

Week 4

RAW: Recaps of what happened last week on RAW and Smackdown, and some basic matches: Talos vs Fernando, and Rey vs Adam Rose.

Main Event: Further recaps, building up to the match at the PPV.

Smackdown: Los Matadores vs Miz and Mizdow never happens because of Talos running in, destroying both teams before Rey Mysterio runs in to save the day. Erebus orders Talos to leave the ring, reminding him to save his destruction for the PPV.

PPV: A slightly back and forth match that sees Rey nearly get the upperhand on Talos. Finish sees Rey hit a 619, and going for a West Coast Pop when Talos catches him with the Hammer of the Gods for the pin. Talos and Erebus stand tall at the end of the match.
