The way I've been getting it to work is by setting the alignment of the whole thing to left.  I came across this by accident while centering the image and wanting to be doubly cautious about the rest.

Ah ha! Good call Stoner. Let me have a look at that tonight and see if it works doing that.  Will save a lot of hassle if it does.

Good call, I looked back at this thread to see about breaks before I posted mine, the Left Alignment thing worked a treat. That said, I don't have any images in this post.
That's the bottom line coz Tone Cold said so...

Stoner

Oh, I've no idea why it works.  I just know it does lol.

Still sorting out something re: the text editor, but I'm glad you guys found a workaround for now.

People can now leave comments on the blogs thanks to 1) the Disqus plugin for WordPress and 2) the fact I turned off the option to hide the comments area LOL.

You're right, Jesus is nicer. But Alex is a close second.

Ok, looks like aligning to the left sorts out the paragraph spacing.  Why?  I have no idea!  But it's working and I don't have to put in code in every post, so yay!

Just as a head's up to some of you who have blogs pending. I'm away for the weekend, so we'll post them early next week.  It'll help stagger things and hopefully will mean more eyes on your blogs when they're posted next week.  Hope this is ok with everyone, but I didn't want to flood the site with too many new posts today and some to get lost in the shuffle.

Good idea not to overload, I might be wrong but doesn't WordPress have a feature that allows 'timed' release of posts? Kinda the same way some Twitter apps allow Scheduled tweets. Might be worth checking (that said, this likely wouldn't post all the relevant promotional stuff on here, Facebook etc along with the timed post).

Yeah, WP lets you change the date/time of a post so you can schedule a post for future publication or backdate a post to fit whatever context you need (For example, if you have an audio recording from a specific date you want to be "published" on that date)

If you don't have ANY formatting around the text, it's not gonna look good. It's not enough to do a<br > tag between paragraphs. There are specific tags that make the text look normal, such as aligning it. You could also use the <p> command to denote a paragraph, <h1> to <h6> to define different headers, and <article> to index the blog as a blog.

T-Bonizzle

I'm assuming an html 5 compatible platform, otherwise <article> won't do dick.

Duckman

Cheers T-bone.  The left align thing has fixed it, but I'll give the <p> thing a try too.

The reason I want to do the posts, without the automatic schedule, is I want to Tweet the link and update the FB page at the same time.  At the moment I can't do that if the posts are going up automatically.  There's probably some work around of being able to do timed Tweets or something, but I haven't had any time to look into that.

That said, I should be able to post some on Friday and Saturday if I can get on a computer at my Aunt's house.

I don't know how, but automated tweets are a thing that can be done.

Duckman

Now I'm back home, I'll get a few more blogs posted tonight.

I'm also going to look into the automatic tweet thing and get that set up.

Also folks, please remember to retweet everyone's blogs when the link goes up.  Get as many eyes as possible on each other's work.

Cheers.

Slowly making my way through the blogs, and am commenting on the site.  So if I give your thread here no love, its because I replied to the blog itself.

Good work so far!  Infact, Great work so far!
