Since I couldn't post the video of it here is a example of the type of music you would hear from the c64's Sid synthesizer chip

this is one of my personal favorite tunes from the awesome Last Ninja 3(also known as Ninja 3), I just loved the upbeat tempo of it and how in the opening of the tune it pulled off this nice little water dropping type effect and towards the end you hear a simulated rushing water sound blended into the music which was a nice touch especially considering this was a mere 3 channel synthesizer chip.

and here is another fun tune from the the game:

Also here is what the intro to Last Ninja 3 looks like for those who don't feel like looking it up.

The Last Ninja trilogy wasn't the only games of course to have awesome music to them of course but they do tend to be a personal favorite of mine as well as others who grew up with the c64 but for fairness here is another awesome little tune from c64 music legend Ron Hubbard from the game Monty on the run.

So I been thinking about what to write about next.. one of my big issues is I tend to have alot of topics/ideas come at me all at once and have trouble picking just one. The topics I am thinking off for this next blog post:

1. Batman the animated Series: Heart of Ice and the Batman the animated series film Mask of the Phantasm. I loved Batman The Animated series and it had so many great episodes but the one that always struck me the most was actually the first episode I ever caught "Heart of Ice" which was the re-introduction of Mr. Freeze into the Batman universe and turned him from the simple one note villain he was in the comics to a tragic almost sympathetic villain.
Mr Freeze, Heart of Ice (Batman TAS)

The of course there was Mask of the Phantasm a full length animated film set in the Batman Animated series universe and since it wasn't meant for TV the writers were able to go as dark and tragic as they wanted to, while as dark as the animated series was they had to keep it somewhat light because it was a "kids" show so somethings were tapped danced around and such but not in this film.

2.  Fans and Fanboys
Basically talking about what is a fan and the diffrences between fans and fanboys(yes there is a difference)
