Happy New Year MFX Galaxy!!  We hope you guys all had an awesome Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to a great 2016.  Thanks for all your support in 2015, we really do appreciate everyone who listens, sends stuff in and pushes us on social media.

So this is a bit of a state of the MFX nation address.  Just to give you all an update on what we've got planned for 2016 with the show.

First up - We're going to look to do the show on a more regular basis than last year.  Doing a weekly show probably isn't going to be possible with work schedules and the general hassles of life.  So we'll be looking to do a show once a fortnight.  This will give us time to come up with fun shit to talk about, as well as plenty of time for you guys to send stuff in and get involved with the show.  I doubt we'll be posting on the same day every fortnight, but we'll certainly be looking to post the show every couple of weeks from now on.

Second thing – We're going to rejig the format of the show a little bit.  We think we've hit a decent style with MFX these days, but we've also lost a few listeners who used to tune in specifically for pro wrestling chat.  In 2016 we'll be bringing more wrestling chat on each show.  We aren't going back to reviewing the shows, but we will be picking 4-6 of the big stories in wrestling and discussing them.  Those of you who love our pop culture, news, sports, movies and other random shit chat, fear not.  We'll still be doing all that, but balancing it out with more regular pro wrestling discussion.

Third thing – As part of this we're looking for your input.  In particular we're looking for bad matches on You Tube for us to review/commentate on.  Send those links to mfx.show@gmail.com

Fourth thing - We'll also be debuting a new segment called Defend the Indefensible (or something more snazzy if we actually think about it).  You guys send us a topic, Ian to argue one point of view, Duckman argues the other – which side of the argument we're on is up to you.  We'll then ask you guys to let us know on Twitter and Facebook who you think won the debate.  This can be wrestling related or not, it's totally up to you.  Again, email those to us.

Fifth thing – We will be revamping the look of our website, logos and social media.  Plus we'll be posting a lot more on our Twitter and Facebook page.  If you guys aren't following those, you better get with it!

Fifth thing – Despite how the Xmas Special went, Rybitch will be back and will be bringing you a segment on each show where he picks a wrestler to critique and maybe give us a few 'shoot' comments along the way!

Sixth thing – The Try Hard Ruler of the Week will still be on the show and we encourage everyone to look for stories and send them in.  We might even have a prize for the overall winner of the prestigious Try Hard Ruler of the Year – which just like the last show of 2015, will be announced on the last show of 2016.

Phew, ok that's enough for one post.  Basically what we're saying is, a few new segments, more wrestling chat and all the usual MFX shenanigans you've come to know and love down the years.  As always, feel free to send us emails, feedback, comments, questions or ideas for stuff to talk about on the show.  One of our favourite things about MFX is interacting with you guys, so we want to get more of that in 2016.

Anyway, that's enough of this for now.  Be sure to keep an eye on Twitter, Facebook and the MFX forums for plenty of news, updates and cool shit for MFX in 2016.

Oh and we should have a new show for you guys next week (if Duckman ever gets the chance to watch the new Star Wars so he can discuss it with Sir Ian!).  Until then thanks for reading and we're looking forward to another kick ass year of MFX.

Cheers,
Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps
