It's an eyesore if you can deal with it....like on your phone, but less of a bother.  Like a phone, it's just the glass that covers the screen that's broken, and not the screen part itself.  It shouldn't spread unless you do weird shit with your laptop.

I couldn't deal with a crack in the middle but some people are able to look past them
