The big difference between Savage and Hart is this. Hart went to WCW after Vince asked him to. Vince screwed Bret over, and yes Bret should have dropped the title anyways, but he was still screwed over.

Savage is a guy who apparantly is hard to deal with. Hence why TNA decided to do that Jay Lethal gimmick to get back at him for basically screwing them over.
