Most over-rated/under-rated movies?

The Harry Potter movies were very disappointing to me, but I put this down to being such a big fan of the books... if I had never read the books however, I suspect I would have enjoyed the movies more. They are decent for what they are, I guess. But back to the point of this thread... yes, I agree with the verdict... over-rated.

Overated: The Godfather. It was good. Perhaps even great. Certainly not the greatest movie ever by far by any stretch of the imagination.

Shawshank Redemption - Excellent movie. Where it gets it's status as like the second best of all time I don't know.

The X-men movies. All of them were shit.

Underrated: Cube, Horribly acted low budget horror movie but I think is utterly brilliant from a storytelling point of view.
