Greedy ass motherfuckers... They brought out some fox channels in the north east of the county ( mostly areas of MA and RI)   so when it came time to re-do the deal to show those channels on our line-up for our cable tv ( I work for Verizon ) fuckers jack up the price .  in the past we had no problem with the owners of the channels before , but now COX wants to rise the price millions of more dollars just to show the FOX channel.  We were like fuck that ... because if we did we would have to rise the prices of our tv packages pasting the cost down to the consumer. we still trying to get them to lower the cost . but here the problem the contract to show the channel ended on the 26th ... they pulled the channel today . so I and all my co-workers had to answer the questions from pissed of people not getting there local fox channel ... trying to explain to them why they can not see the football game today on fox

Does personal insurance work the same in China?  Do the cops get called and they write a report?

Something like that. You have to call the insurance people and the cops and you have to preserve the scene until they arrive... which means crashed cars just get left in the middle of the road until a decision is made about who is to blame. Once the argument has happened, one person hands over some cash and then you go on your way (unless it's a really bad one). There was a cop working on the junction where I got hit and he saw the whole thing, so it didn't take long to sort out.

Yesterday I blew £500 on a new bike (pedal not motor) for commuting as part of my new look exercise routine. 1/4 mile from the office, in the dark, at -4 celcius, guess who found the only broken bottle in the 5 mile stretch of road... Ever seen a 6'5, 265lbs man somersault over the handlebars of a bicycle? It ain't a pretty sight.

Fuck snow. Yeah it's great when you're a kid, but as a grown ass man it's a nightmare. Roads are fucking awful, people drive like complete twats.  I have to hike down the side of a mountain to get to the main road where I live and at the moment, the road down is sheet ice, covered in packed snow and impossible to drive on and almost impossible to walk on.  Plus it's just freezing and the snow meant the Sky signal went off for most of the day.  So yeah, fuck your winter wonderland, fuck snow and fuck it's asshole cousin hail.

Yeah I hear that... I live 15 miles away from work and there is basically one bypass to get in. Because of several accidents over the night and black ice... they shut the whole fucking thing. Like, how the fuck is this country SURPRISED every year when ice and snow turns up?
