Sad news for fans like me who were hoping to see a proper follow up to Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail  as series creator Al Lowe who had been making adventure games for years and had worked on not only some of the most noteworthy games of the genre including King's Quest 1-3, Space Quest 1 and 2, but also was the creator of such classics as the Leisure Suit Larry series(well the first 6 games Magnum cum laude and box office bust had no input from him whatsoever) and Freddy Pharkus: Frontier Pharmacist has officially parted ways with Replay games and has announced that he will be returning to retirement. This comes on the heels of news of Replay games president being wound up in a sex scandal where he had shown lewd and graphic materials of a sexual nature to a 15 year old girl.

So sadly all fans managed to get was a remake of the VGA remake of Larry 1/Leisure Suit Larry in the land of the Lounge Lizards
