Hello everyone and welcome to the 2012 EFK NASCAR Prediction Game!

Now before you sign up here are the specifics.

Each correctly predicted winner nets you a 5 points.
It should be noted that this only applies to your pick to win the race so picking someone who did make the top 5 spot (between 2nd-5th place) will net you a bonus point.

All other correct picks net you 1 point.

Top total points at the end of the season wins the overall predictions title.

All times to get picks in are PST and I will post each race's time data and info when the predictions are set to be made.

Daytona is nearly impossible to pick. It all comes down to a lot of luck, staying out of the "Big One" and being in the right place at the right time. But regardless, I'm in.

Got that right. The only races that will have this many choices will be Daytona, Talladega, and the final race of the season. Every other race will have 5 choices.

Week one was a crap shoot. Everyone sans Blade tied for first but Porter is the overall number one because he was the only player to get a top five one point bonus for their race winner. He picked Dale Earnhardt, Jr. who finished in second place overall thus earning him one point. BD, Hondo, and myself tied with 6 points apiece with Blade earning 5 points. This is going to be a close season going by week one.

Week 2 was the week that Blade went perfect even picking the winner correctly. James Porter also picked the winner as well which is his second bonus in as many weeks. Hondo and BD also got bonuses. I however score zero points which is the opposite of Blade's week and was the only player not to score a bonus. Week of opposites this week.

Week three was not a good week for anyone. The most points anyone got was four (BD and Porter). Blade and I were right behind with three apiece whereas Hondo did not finish the race. Only BD got a 1 point bonus so he wins the week by default because of that. Points race already tightening up early into the season.

Sorry about the delay. Work and FBL has consumed me. But things have FINALLY shaken up. The Bonus Points Week with two races have made this a much closer game. I FINALLY won a race. BD won two and Blade lost his lead. However the way Blade has been picking other than the Spring Showdown race shouldn't be any issue with him getting back to the top. Next bonus races with more picks will be in Indianapolis and Daytona. BD has the lead followed by Blade and James. Blade and BD are dominating in the bonus category.

CONGRATS to BD on winning the NASCAR Prediction Game. He beat me by 11 points. All of the bonus points gave hm the cushion to win it. Blade won the most winner bonus for the season with 3 while BD won the top 5 driver bonus with 12 total. I had the most correct picks but had the lowest bonus total which killed me in the end. Congrats to the BD.
