EFK Website - suggestions and stuff

Hey guys, well the new podcast will be up later tonight.  As part of us kicking things up a notch here (as we haven't been as proactive as we normally are) we're looking at making the EFK website the real hub of the EFK community.

So, there's lot of places afoot for redesign of the website.

What I'm looking for is suggestions for new features or elements of the website.  What kind of things would bring you to the EFK website?  What content should we have on there? 

We know everyone just comes to the forums but in 2011 we really want to push the website as the centre of EFK.

So, serious suggestions please folks.  Can't say everything will be used, but it'd be great to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Fair points dude and no problem in making them.  EFK is all about suggestions and input from you guys!

Although the podcast will definitely be going up more often into 2011.  Lots of outside factors affected the last few months.

lmao. I think the only thing I would've suggested was the more frequent shows, but I get you guys are hella busy..twas such a long time ago we had the weekly ones guess I was spoiled.

well, what I had in mind was each week or month have a selected theme for the poll (music, wrestling etc etc). I think it would be a good asset to the site

1. Fix whatever the RSS issue is with the podcast page, please. Tried to plug it back into iTunes today, and it tried to download show 35...not so cool.
2. Secondary podcasts? Depends on what we're talking about, and who's involved. I would ask to help promote stuff like the TFWF and VWF podcasts, but that's what the Town Crier forum is for.
3. Update the pages, please. Especially the Affiliates page, in all honesty.

I think my main point is to update the site more often, somehow. I don't know how we go about doing that. Do we get someone to work on that? I know B's been doing the affiliate page, and I understand it's hard to update sometimes. But, since we're talking about the site being a hub for the community...it's not much of a hub if it's only updated once in a blue moon, y'know?

A member of the month highlight could be good.

Something to highlight people who have been contributing to the site and deserve recognition.

The jag idea of a secondary podcast could work. Something akin to Behind the handler at TFWF - Under the Helmet. Where one person does an interview like you used to do on each show. That was you do your think on the official EFK show and then you could have somebody do a second think to give people something to download
