There was an interfed invasion angle between Smack:CCW and the SWO back in the late spring-early summer of 2001. SWO had invaded our fed, purchasing partial ownership of it (in kayfabe) and our world champion and the top face in the company for several years turned heel and defected to their side. This was months before Steve Austin turned against the WWE and joined the alliance as its leader.  Our invasion angle was more like a USA Vs Canada kind of deal, when in our fed they were the heels and we were the faces, but when in their fed we were the heels etc.
