Friday the 13th Remake coming

Are they completely redoing the remake cuz Hockey Jason wasn't introduced til the 3rd movie.

No official plot yet, but it's said to reveal the origins of Jason Voorhees.

So as you can see not much to go on.

As best as I have heard from snooping on other sites is that it will be a prequel to the point of still being just a typical Jason slasher. Which is not a bad thing. Expect lots of dead "teens".

And this will always be better then the Nightmare on Elm Street remake due to be out in 2009 or 2010 not starring Robert Englund. That's right a different Freddy. Which will simply suck.

Btw Friday the 13th is set to come out on Febuary Friday the 13th, 2009.

Quality is shit as obviously on a phone cam or low grade camera. From what I can see looks fucking awesome though. A lot better then what you'd expect and almost like a sequel as opposed to a Jason remake or prequel. So that is good news.

I'll probably end up checking out though. I grew up on Jason as a kid and that trailer didnt look half bad.

From what you can see I agree Tank it does look pretty sweet. I can't wait till you can see it more clearly. It's out Feb 13th so I assume we'll see a decent teaser or full trailer sept or oct.
