Scoring Details:

APPEARANCES
A Superstar will be awarded appearance points for each segment he/she appears on during the watched event. A segment is defined as the time period that begins when the show comes back from commercial (or starts) and continues until the time the show goes to commercial (or ends). Appearances or matches that are broken up by a commercial break will not count twice. Simply being on TV constitutes an "appearance," unless a Superstar is merely in the background in a non-creative role or is otherwise not part of any storyline. For example, if Vickie Guerrero is standing next to Dolph Ziggler during a backstage segment, both Guerrero and Ziggler will receive appearance points. Simply being in the background in a non-creative role does not constitute an appearance. I will make the final ruling on whether a Superstar receives appearance points. Only action not seen prior to will count towards appearance points. Repeat segment appearances will not count. This includes flashbacks to prior days or weeks, video of a previously aired event that happened on a prior day, pay-per-view promotions, commercials, match graphics, show openers, and still images.

MATCHES
Matches are scored only when a Superstar is ruled a competitor in a match/contest and the bell rings. Any other Superstar who appears during a match/contest will earn appearance points, interference points, etc., but will not earn match points. Appearances by managers, Divas and others ringside will be scored as appearances, not matches. In the event of a "no-decision" finish, the Superstars who participated in the match will earn match points, but neither will be credited with a win.

ELIMINATING AN OPPONENT
A Superstar is awarded 2 points for eliminating an opponent in a match with elimination rules. Elimination matches include (but are not limited to) Battle Royals, Royal Rumble, Classic Survivor Series Elimination Matches and Fatal Four Way Elimination Matches.

SIGNATURE MOVE (EXECUTED/LOCKED-IN)
A Superstar is awarded 2 points any time he/she executes/locks-in one of his/her signature moves. A signature move consists of a move they frequently use and/or is named. If you are curious regarding a superstar's signature moves, just ask.

SIGNATURE MOVE VICTORY
A Superstar is awarded 5 additional points when his/her signature move directly leads to victory in a match (i.e. pinfall or submission).

SIGNATURE MOVE ESCAPE
Each time a Superstar escapes a pinning predicament directly after being hit with his/her opponent's Signature Move, he/she is awarded 2 points. Each time a Superstar escapes a submission signature move, he/she is awarded 2 points. Simply blocking a signature move attempt (before it is executed/locked-in) does NOT constitute a Signature Move Escape. Signature Move Escape points can only be awarded within the context of a match.

FINAL MATCH (Main Event)
Each time a Superstar competes in the final match of an event, he/she is awarded an additional 5 points. Any other Superstar who appears during the final match will earn appearance points, but will not earn Final Match points.

FOREIGN OBJECT USE
A Superstar will be awarded foreign object points each time he/she is successful in using a foreign object to inflict clear physical harm. Foreign objects include (but are not limited to) chairs, chains, bricks, 2x4s, car parts, powder, salt and the announcers' table. Simply swinging a chair or throwing an object without connecting does not count as foreign object use. The object must cause clear physical harm. Objects that are considered part of the ring area, in most cases, will not earn foreign object points. If a Superstar uses their finishing move WITH ANY foreign object successfully, they will receive the finisher and foreign object points in combination. Also, throwing an opponent through a table, into a cage wall, into a ring barrier, etc will count as a foreign object.

DISQUALIFICATION/COUNT-OUT
An official disqualification/count-out from a match, regardless of the cause, will result in a deduction of 5 points.

SUSPENSION/FIRED/STRIPPED/QUIT
An official suspension/firing/title-stripping/quitting results in a deduction of 20 points. For an official suspension/firing/quitting to be awarded, a Superstar must be suspended from action, "quit" the organization or fired (for personal, medical, behavioral or any other reason) by an authorized official (i.e. Mr. McMahon or their brand's General Manager). A Superstar may still receive Fantasy points (appearance points, etc.) while officially on suspension or fired.

If you have any further questions regarding a rule or scoring, let me know. All rules and regulations are subject to change. If you don't think something is fair or judged right, just let me know and we can have an open discussion regarding this issue and possible change.

Random Tidbit Rules:
Season 5 will officially start on Wrestlemania April 3rd, 2016.  From there you will be paired up against opponents for 21 FWL weeks (2 week intervals) before the playoffs.

There are two aspects that affect the following year SEASON 6:
1. For the Alpha League you will be able to keep 1 player on your team as your Team Captain for Season 6.
2. Next year's draft for the Alpha League will be worst to first like the NFL does for everyone that stays on another year. Anyone that leaves, their spot and Team Captain will be dumped and any additional person that joins the game will be added to the bottom of the list and will be able to pick up a Team Captain before the draft begins.

Line-Ups
If you miss putting in your line-up 3 times, I go by the 3 strikes rule and you'll be out. Your players will be stripped from your team and back into the free agency and you will be ejected from the league for the rest of the year. This is for both the Alpha and Omega league. Anyone scheduled to go against you the rest of the schedule will get an auto-win unless another team gets booted and then the two team will face each other. I will restructure the schedule upon needed. It's simple to come in every two weeks and submit a line-up. You can even just say "same" to keep it the same and that will suffice but you can only do that 1 time in a row. If you try to "same" a line-up you just said "same" to it will not count and will be a strike. (Circumstances vary depending on health issues/emergencies. I will post the next week's thread as soon as I can in order to make everything go smoothly, you can also PM me your line-up if you know you are going on vacation, etc.) So your opponent does not get an automatic win if you miss putting your line-up in, I will manually insert your "best" line-up. BUT you will not get a win at all, this is only to avoid your opponent getting an auto-win. Deadline will be 7pm CST on Sundays EVERY FWL WEEK. Any line-up posted AFTER the stated deadline will be marked invalid and you will get a loss and score of 0 for the week. This is why it might be better to just make an additional post with your new line-up if you edit it instead of editing the actual post... just to be safe.

Trading
There will be the deadline for trading by the end of the regular season, but not pick-ups and drops or Waiver Wire for obvious reasons. This year we will no longer vote on any trades when they are first done. If someone sees a trade that they think is too far lopsided or might be "collusion" they can call it to a vote by sending a PM to myself or Midas and we will anonymously put it up for vote. You may trade with any other player at any time. You must confirm the trade in this thread along with the person you are trading with. You can NOT trade Waiver Wire picks. If it's in the middle of a currently active FWL Week, the trade's results will be available for next week.

Waiver Wire Rules
You may submit any Drop/Pick-Up Waiver Wire submission to me at anytime before the deadline of 5pm CST on Saturday. You may submit it through PM, IM, Facebook, Text, however you can get in touch with me. I, as commissioner, will submit my waiver request to Midas to keep it fair. After 5pm CST on Saturday, I will post the Waiver Wire Results. After I post the results, there will be an allotted time for open pick-up/drop. You may only pick-up/drop one wrestler at a time. Once another player does a pick-up/drop you may do another. You are NOT able to use Waiver Wire Picks in trading. Season 5 will bring a couple of changes with the Waiver Wire. The Waiver Wire order will start off at the beginning of the the year in opposite order of the draft. From this point on, anyone that picks up a player through the waivers will move to the back of the list while those that don't make a pick will keep their current position. This can be further explained if anyone needs it.

Week's Watching Schedule

Sunday: Random PPVs (If there are any events on the weekend, like I know ROH/TNA does PPVs on Friday/Saturday sometimes or WWE does a Saturday Night Show, they will be counted on SUNDAY - the beginning of the following week - to make sure we have time at the end for Waivers and whatnot.)

Monday: WWE Monday Night RAW and OVW

Tuesday: ROH TV (from previous Saturday) and WWE Main Event - ROH is usually on Saturday and gets posted online for free a day or two later, so I'm going to watch in on Tuesday, making it count on Tuesday.

Wednesday: TNA Impact, WWE NXT and Lucha Underground

Thursday: WWE Smackdown

Friday: WWE Superstars and TNA Xplosion (will be watched on Friday Night or Saturday ASAP to make sure all the points get in).

Saturday: Nothing. This day will be for Waiver Wire and catch-up if needed.

Also there will be WWE Network Original shows that will be on throughout the week. They will be watched as they occur. If there are any questions about this, feel free to ask.  It's just what fits best with my schedule in order for me to get all the points aligned as soon as I can.  This year, I will be posting the line-up weeks earlier to give more time as last time I only gave about a day or two to submit your line-up. NJPW and Chikara will be watched as they are available to view during the week. As per the normal rules, if it's on a Friday or Saturday it won't count until the FOLLOWING week starting on Monday.

Any questions, feel free to ask! All of this is subject to change and more information will be added here upon needed.

The differences between Alpha and Omega Leagues.

Alpha
$20 Entry Fee - winner take all $200 at the end of the season - payment can be made payable to nelly632@comcast.net through PayPal. You can quickpay me through Chase Bank using my phone number 224-305-3331 or e-mail joblessjosh@gmail.com either works. Or you can pay me through Facebook. They have the ability to add your debit card and send money over with no charge at all. It's pretty cool. Hell, if you really want to you can mail it to me, just let me know and I'll give you my physical address. I would prefer to have the money as soon as you can send it. The season officially starts at Wrestlemania (April 3rd) which gives you about 3 months to get it in. If you have any problem with getting it to me by then let me know and I'll adjust accordingly. :)

The keeper aspect will move forward with this league. At the beginning of each year's draft we will go through in order and secure our keepers. Midas already laid it out in another thread. You don't HAVE to keep your keeper. You can choose to not keep someone on your current team and you will move down to the bottom of the draft order for the entire draft.

Omega
This is a free league. No money involved.

There will be no keeper for this league. Each season this league's draft order will be randomized and we will draft from scratch each season.

New Rules for Season 5 (general rules for both leagues)

1. The only "points" addition was a +4 for performing an opponent's signature move.

2. There will be no votes on trading unless someone sends a PM to either myself or Midas.

3. Any player dropped in either waivers or open pickup/drop will be on a PROTECTED HOLD of 72 hours until they are available to be picked up again. I will make note of when they are free again to pick up.

4. The waiver wire submissions will have a hard deadline of Saturday at 5pm cst. I will send my waiver to Midas, the co-mod.

5. The deadline for your starting line-up will always be on Sunday at 7pm cst.

6. If you do not submit a line-up then the "best available" line-up will be put in place so your opponent does not get an auto-win, but you will still get an auto-loss and a "strike".

7. There is no longer a home field advantage of 20 points.

8. If a team gets ejected after getting three strikes their players will be dispersed back into the free agent pool. To make sure everything goes smoothly and no one gets auto-wins yet again, random.org will be used to pick a proxy team from one of the active teams in the league that they would have to beat to get their win. If another team gets ejected then I will adjust the schedule so that the two teams with no opponents get matched up moving forward.

9. NXT is it's own company seperate from WWE.

I can't think of any other changes at this moment and I've been racking my brain... if anyone thinks of any rules/changes that came up throughout the year let me know ASAP so I can decide and make adjustments if needed.

I will split the divisions, schedule, waivers and trades into two separate threads for the two separate leagues to make it easier when I get home from work.

This does not compute....

You both can lose. He has no chance of winning. You still have that chance but you have to play it out

Oh....I think that's lame. But, I've never missed my lock in, so it doesn't really matter to me.
Title: Re: FWL Season 5 Rules/Regulations/Questions
Post by: Fnord on January 20, 2016, 07:13:03 PM
That is in there because there are people that never got that "auto-win" because no one ever missed a line-up against them. So if 4 of Powers (for example) opponents don't put in a line-up that's 4 auto-wins (with the old rules) and if everyone always puts in a line-up against Pancho he had to fight it out tooth and nail. So it wasn't fair in that aspect.

So, now while the person that missed their line-up will get an auto loss for the week, their opponent still has to actually beat them to get the mark in their win column.

It made sense to me.

I forgot about a new rule which I added above:

8. If a team gets ejected after getting three strikes their players will be dispersed back into the free agent pool. To make sure everything goes smoothly and no one gets auto-wins yet again, random.org will be used to pick a proxy team from one of the active teams in the league that they would have to beat to get their win. So, for example, I am set to face Midas, and you are set to face Alex.  Midas get's his 3rd strike prior to facing me, so he is booted out.  Random.org comes up with Alex.  Both you and I are facing Alex this week, but Alex can only win by beating you.

Is that right?

Exactly! You got it! I'll of course put Alex-Proxy so there's no confusion. :)

Oh! I remembered something else! NXT is it's own entity outside of WWE. That means that Finn Balor is a Main. If/when he comes up to WWE he will be a non-title.

That also means that Neville who was a mid last season because he was NXT Champ is now a WWE Non-Title!

Also remember NJPW and Chikara are active this season as well. Their names are all in the correct places in the available picks page.

How does ROH and NJPW working together change wrestlers roles? If Jay Lethal defends the ROH championship on an NJPW show? Is he a Main then? What if he isn't defending the championship? Is he then a Non? What about Jay Briscoe? An ROH main representing ROH on an NJPW show? Going by the past seasons, these roles may switch from week to week based on the most recently viewed event?

They may switch from week to week based on the most recently appearance. The same with NXT and WWE. If Neville goes to NXT and has a random match he'll be a main. Then when he pops back up in NXT he'll be a non-title again.

Same for the likes of Jay Briscoe (for example). In ROH he'd be a Main, in NJPW he'd be a mid. I of course will update and let people know exactly what they are and their changes as I watch, so no need to keep track of that.

So ROH titles being defended in NJPW don't affect roles in NJPW? All good.

So Jay Lethal a non title in NJPW ... would get bonus points for being a Non Title in a championship match ... defending his own RoH belt as an example?

Hey guys, quick question on the NJPW guys.  Which shows are included?  Is it just the AXS show that's on TV in the US, or does it also include the shows shown on NJPW World?

Just cause the AXS show is about a year behind current times, so it'll make a difference in terms of who is picked.

Cheers.
Title: Re: FWL Season 5 Rules/Regulations/Questions

The AXS show actually does not count as it's reruns. All of NJPW shows come straight from their website: http://njpwworld.com/ (http://njpwworld.com/)

So, that schedule that has shows for 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/15, 1/22, 1/23, 1/24, 1/25, 1/30 <--- those would be the shows I watch and count for January.

Just a heads up everyone needs to have teams assembled by Wrestlemania. We need to pick this up a little quicker. The sooner we get the draft done, then I can do some pre-season week(s) which would allow us to adjust rosters if need be before the season starts.

Yeah, you can draft anyone, anywhere. I'll add him to the list. For instance, I really doubt King Mo (who was once on TNA) is on the list, BUT you can draft him if you hear he's making a wrestling comeback. lol  Or any indy wrestlers that you hear is moving up or being signed to one of the corps in FWL.

The results of Honor Rising have just been added to the database site I use... http://www.profightdb.com/ (http://www.profightdb.com/)

It is billed as an ROH show here?

I'm curious if the FWL moderators use the same site, or how they decide on who is the host of cross-promotional shows.

It's important, because if this is the case, then next week my NJPW guys such as Okada and Tanahashi might all become non-title players (if this is the last show they perform in before the next deadline)

I don't think that's accurate, and the main reason why is the shows are on New Japan World, not ROH VOD. I'm fairly certain these are NJPW shows featuring ROH talent, in the way that War of the Worlds/Global Wars last year were ROH shows featuring New Japan talent.

Correct. It's wherever the shows are first. It's already available on NJPW World, so it's a NJPW show.

Just a quick question on Prince Puma/Riccochet.  If he's working NJPW, is he still classed as a main?  He hasn't won a main title in NJPW, but is the IWGP Junior Tag Champ.
Title: Re: FWL Season 5 Rules/Regulations/Questions

He's one of the "tricky" ones. It's the last place he's shown up. So if Prince Puma doesn't show up in Lucha for two weeks, but he shows up in in NJPW then he'd be Mid. If he shows up in Lucha he would transition over to Main.

As you can see with Neville. He was Non-Title in WWE, moved in to Main cause he wrestled in NXT and then moved back to Non-Title cause he showed up on Superstars that same week.

Sounds like you're making it harder then it needs to be. Should just leave whatever his main promotion is as the roster spot he takes up (be it Main, Mid, Non-Title). Appearances in any other capacity is just an appearance and is nothing permanent.

Just my 2 cents though.

Yeah, I kinda agree with Jon here. It's probably easier to go with a 'is whatever he is in his main promotion, but if we know he's going to show up elsewhere where he has a different position we can also start him there' approach than is a main this week, is a non-title next week, is a main again the next week approach.

So like Neville would be a non-title most weeks, but if we knew that next week he was appearing on NXT we could start him as a main or an N-T

I'm cool with whatever Fnord decides on this.  Also worth keeping in mind that as LU is taped and NJPW is live, he could appear on both in the same week!  Which was one of the reasons I picked him - mucho points!

Nah. I'm good keeping it as his position is his "last seen appearance" as I've done throughout the entire FWL history.

Not that it's a discussion anymore, but I wanted to say that I like the rule as it is.

I like the unpredictability it adds, and I like the strategic element of the pros and cons... you want someone who can potentially earn more points by crossing over, then it's up to you to make sure you have back-up to cover his regular position. Pros and cons.

This is the entire reason I picked Mark Henry in one of my teams... if my NJPW guys make their last appearance of the week in ROH, they are no longer main, Henry comes off the bench to fill that spot for the next week.

Interesting question here.

Dash/Dawson vs Enzo/Cass
It's airing on a WWE main roster event would dash and Dawson be counted as non title even though their champs since they're defending NXT titles and not wwe titles

Well, they won't be non-title until they are SEEN on the WWE show. And since the Roadblock special event is the first show of the preseason week, they won't turn into non-titles until the week has already begins. And then they will probably show up in the the two weeks of NXT and will probably turn back to Mid. So... yeah....

Question re: the waiver order.

You've explained how it works... and that people only lose their place in line on weeks that they successfully make a waiver transaction.

Now my question is this.... does the open drop/pick-up effect said positions? If I patiently work my way up to the top of the list in the waiver order, do I lose that position if I partake in open drop/pick-up that week, even if I abstain from sending in a waiver?

Answer should be no. Hence why it's called open drop pick up

Pancho is correct. If you want to take the chance that the wrestler you want to pick up will be available after the Waiver Wire then you may keep your WW position and use Open Pickup/Drop.

So yeah... open pick-up/drop does not effect Waviers.

What happens when and/or IF there is a WWE brand split? Eg. WWE Raw has their champion and WWE Smackdown has their own champion. Just heard some rumors of this happening after WM; just want to be clear.
Thanks.

What question are you asking? What about the split? It's still WWE, so it's still just another WWE show. If you're asking about Champion-wise, if they split the title into World and Heavyweight Title again they will both count as main titles.

Attention: Unfortunately my weekend has been a little hectic and busy. I still have to get through 1-2 shows to finish out the FWL week. Since there is no PPV on Sunday I am moving the deadline of Waivers to 12:00 noon CST on Sunday (in approximately 19 hours) and deadline for starting line-ups to 6pm CST on Monday. This is JUST for this week only. Any questions hit me up.

Announcement

The WWE Brand Split has happened. There is now a RAW and Smackdown brand in WWE. This makes them having a total of 3 brands since NXT is it's own brand within WWE. So, now RAW and Smackdown will be treated like NXT in the aspect of positions. This means there are many positional changes within all of the WWE roster. I am going to leave the rosters the same as of right now, but on Sunday after deadline has hit, I am going to alter all of them adjusting them to all be correct. This might mean for the following week you might have to do trades or pick-ups in order to have a full eligible team. If anyone needs help with pick-ups or trades in order to get their team in full positions I'm sure myself or Midas can assist and point your in the right direction.

WWE RAW
Main: All former WWE Universal Champions
Mid: All former WWE United States Champions, WWE Women's Champions, and WWE Tag Team Champions

WWE Smackdown
Main: All former WWE Champions
Mid: All former WWE Intercontinental Champions

WWE NXT
Main: All former NXT Champions
Mid: All former NXT Tag Team Champions and all NXT Women's Champions

Now, this is specific to each brand. So, anyone that is on RAW that has only held the Intercontinental Championship will be now be considered a non-title as they have not held a title that is supported by their brand. I know this might be confusing, but this is why I am doing it tomorrow as soon as deadline hits and letting us have a full 2 weeks to get everything in order. While the WWE brand split might have been good to watch, it has really did a number on FWL. :(

Yeah but Summerslam is a part of this coming FWL week... I think Fnord says the changes don't come into effect until the next FWL week... so there will be ONE main in the entire Raw roster ;D

So we're ignoring the lineage of the World Heavyweight Title entirely now?  Guys that won only that belt (Swagger, Ziggler...) are no longer Mains?
Title: Re: FWL Season 5 Rules/Regulations/Questions
Post by: Fnord on August 07, 2016, 12:52:29 AM
Summerslam is the beginning of Week 12. So while you are able to use whatever main you have on RAW for Week 11, they will be changed for Week 12. So, you are correct RAW will have only 1 Main after Summerslam because they decided to make up their own belt.

And "we" did not decide to ingore the lineage, the WWE did as they do not have the World Heavyweight Title anymore, just the WWE Title, WWE Universal Title and NXT Title as their three brand's main titles.

Once a title is taken away or removed from the company then so does it's lineage, that's why only 2 WWE women are considered a mid - Charlotte and now Sasha.

That's all fine, but how come someone like Dolph Ziggler has been counted as a Main in previous weeks? The World Heavyweight Title has been gone for a while. If the recognition of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship having both lineages was enough, that was changed to just the WWE World Championship a couple of weeks ago, so Ziggler should have no longer been a Main then, no?
Title: Re: FWL Season 5 Rules/Regulations/Questions
Post by: Fnord on August 07, 2016, 01:08:41 AM
But it wasn't made clear until recently that they were no longer following the same lineage until recently. They were subtly hinting it when they were leading up to the split referring to the belt as just the WWE Title, but it wasn't until right before the split when I looked into the lineages and titles histories that it was revealed to me. Then I had to wait and see what they were doing with the titles after the split to fully determine what needed to be changed. And THEN seeing as how this is a HUGE impactful change for some I decided to extend the time in order for people to make changes as needed.

All good. It just seems strange seeing WWE guys get even more devalued compared to NJPW. Hopefully next season you find a way to balance that a bit better. Surely the biggest company in the world should have the most valuable roster members?

Despite the fact I'm probably capitalizing more than anyone on this, I agree with the above statement, and I have some suggestions for the scoring system that I believe would put the WWE guys back on top next season...

1) NJPW and Chikara events are all considered "specials" because they are not regularly scheduled... so they score the same as a PPV. I think there could be a better way to define "special" next season that does not include every irregular show.

2) Perhaps shows on regular TV should score more than shows streamed to Internet or a Network.

3) Shows streamed/ recorded LIVE could be worth more than pre-recorded shows.

(rules 2 and 3 would not only put WWE ahead, but also put Raw and Smackdown ahead of NXT. I don't know where TNA falls in all of this, lol, are they even on tv anymore?)

Obviously there's plenty of time to establish next season, but just throwing some things out there.

I understand everyone's concerns and I assure you that myself and Fnord are working on many different ways to adjust the FWL for the upcoming season that would balance it more. When we added New Japan to the list of companies, we're the first to admit that we had no clue of the way it would turn the points upside down.

Had we known ahead of time I can assure you that we would have drafted far more New Japan guys instead of snickering inside when these New Japan guys were picked up in the draft so early. Once the year started and we started doing the points it became apparent to us that with New Japans system of doing things lead to all shows on New Japan to be considered "special events" and then with them having so many shows the point imbalance became very apparent.

You can ask FNORD about this, I have complained over and over again about New Japan being added and it messing things up for us this year but the truth is that we live and learn. As I learn New Japan I honestly am happy we have them in the league and enjoy watching them when I do watch them. I don't want to be in a league where we don't have New Japan and I agree that the best option is to figure out a way to establish a New Japan schedule so that the majority of their shows are non special events.

At this point we have about a half a year left and no changes will be made to the point system with regards to New Japan but we are working hard to figure out the best way to move forward and make things more balance for the new year.

On that same note since taking a more active role in the FWL I have made many attempts to share what knowledge I have about New Japan and other companies in order to help people out who have sub-par teams. My suggestion is to open a line of communication with me and ask questions, I have a lot of information in word documents on my computer that I can use to help you guys get a better team and enjoy this game overall...

This is about us all having fun and enjoying this game so I am here to help. Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Two points:

1.  I'm still confused by the roster spots of people when they work for different promotions.  My example is Naito on my roster, who last worked for NJPW as a main eventer.  He's working the ROH show on Friday, when he'll go to non-title, right?  Then I have to wait for him to have another match in NJPW before he goes back to main event, right?  But if I pick him in my team for the upcoming week, he'll still be a main eventer because he last worked NJPW, right?  Just making sure I'm understanding this right.

2.  With NJPW.  Why not just make the big tour ending shows of the year PPVs, and treat the rest like you would RAW or Smackdown?  While nearly everything is show on NJPW World, these end of tour shows are usually on PPV too in Japan.  The Road To... shows are basically house shows, broadcast on NJPW, that build to the tour ending big show.  So for instance, you'd have Road To Invasion attack, and then Invasion Attack itself is a major show.

The main shows of the year for NJPW are as follows:

January: Wrestle Kingdom
February: New Beginning
April: Invasion Attack
May: Wrestling Dontaku
May: ROH/NJPW Global Wars - this one is a bit tricky as it's technically a ROH show, and it's not broadcast on NJPW World.  Although that might change in the future.
June: Dominion
August: G1 Climax Final - G1 might be tricky too.  Personally I think the final 3 nights should be treated like major shows (as they've got the semi finals and final) and the opening night too.  The shows in the middle could be looked at/scored differently next time round in FWL
September: Destruction
October: King of Pro-Wrestling
November: Power Struggle

That at least gives a fair playing field for one major show a month (although WWE will be doing 2 shortly) as a special event.  Keep the rest as TV shows.  Given NJPW also run at least 3 tournaments a year, G-1, BOTSJ and NJ Cup, you might want to come back with some different scoring for tournament shows.

As a long time and avid fan of NJPW, I'm happy to throw out other ideas or bounce ideas around to make things more balanced for the next FWL season.  Just let me know.

1. You are correct. Their position only changes when their last appearance was at a location that changes it. They do not change back until they are seen again at the other location.

2. I like your suggestion, but we are currently working at adjust the entire scoring system to not only elevate the "main company" guys that are in WWE, but also level the playing field a little bit for all companies. More information on that to come but of course they wouldn't go into effect until NEXT year's FWL.

Last week's FWL week will be tabulated either today or tomorrow. You have until I finish that week to send in waiver wire picks. I will then be posting the new week's threads and you will have until Friday at 7pm CST to post your line-ups (the same as I did last week). Sorry for the delay, but real life keeps taking priority.

Season 6 will be a little different and I will explain that later this week. I'm excited in the direction that it's heading.

I guess the same question... Does anyone get the first round bye?

The reason I ask is because if no one is getting byes in the first round then yeah I want to submit waivers but if I have a first round bye then I don't need waivers. Since you are doing waivers as soon as you end last week that leaves no time to see what is going on.

5. Goldferg - Drops Austin Aries, picks up The Miz
6. Duckman - Drops Enzo Amore, picks up Seth Rollins
7. Fnord - Drops Teruaki Kanemitsu, picks up Jojo
8. Midas - Player requested already picked up

Possible New Waiver Wire Order
1. Drama
2. Alex
3. Powers
4. Josh

8. Midas

I believe I should be in 4th on the waiver wire with 5-8 being determined by the results of last week. I didn't get my waiver last week. I know it says possible "waiver wire order" but regardless of how last week ends I would be 4th on the waiver wire order if I am not mistaken.
