Hearing about this storyline and not knowing much about it, it sounds to me like Old Snake from MGS4. If it's anything like that, friggin' AWESOME~!

In a nutshell...

It is set in the future.  50 years prior to the events in the story arc, the villans of the world DEFEATED all of the heros.  Most of them are dead.  Capt America, Iron Man, Thor.  All of them.  Wolverine survived, but SOMETHING happened to him in the  battle in which he has become a pacifist.  He has refused to pop his claws or even raise his voice.  He is a broken man from what he once was.

He now has a family, and lives in a portion of the country controlled by.... someone.  The country has been divided into "Kingdoms" of sorts, where different villans  now control the areas. 

Wolverine then goes on an adventure to help his family with a former Avenger.

I leave it to you to find out more, as I dont' want to ruin too much.  But so far, it's pretty good.

Righteous. I'll have to look out for it when the arc's all said and done. I really tend to prefer getting like the collected editions in the paper/hardbacks so I can read the whole thing through in one go. I'm looking forward to doing the same with Secret Invasion.

Secret Invasion is going to go on for a year, total I think.  Then they'll milk it for all it's worth for another 6 months after that.
