We're only 3 days away from Football season upon us....are you guys excited for the beginning of the season?
Carson Wentz was named Eagles starter officially today and I'm excited for the unknown.
I've got some high hopes for the Chiefs this year. Although many of the players seem to be held together with duct tape at this point.
Love the fullback touchdown for Denver
WOW! What a game!
Hate the Donkeys.
A couple dirty hits to Cam in that game but that's exactly how you stop a player like that unfortunately, take advantage on a guy who can get shook after a few big hits. Kudos to the Broncos and an excellent running attack.
Also you know...all this headhunting.

A grand total of one flag was thrown last night.
Cam's gonna wake up today and be like "can't wait to play the Broncos tonight"

Alright even tho it was the Browns I was still expecting a lot worse. Wentz was great.
It was The Browns though and they are barely an NFL team.

Still, I mean The Browns at least represent slightly better competition than NCAA Division 2.....right? lol
At least he got some extra pre-season work. Dak looked good in pre-season, so maybe this bodes well for Carson when he starts playing real games.
and RG3 looks to be hurt. Oh Doug....at least Josh Gordon is back in a few weeks....hopefully....
Fuck.
doug my man , it only one game ...
Keep hope alive
Could the Texans have had a more pathetic game plan tonight? Let's just run it up the middle and throw 3 yards down field.... That'll get points!!!!
Pazts just keep on rolling
It helped to have McDaniels as OC tonight. He used his Tebow offense from Denver...

That's some 7-9 bullshit right there
God, I hate my team right now, and I hate their coach the the heat of a thousand burning suns.

Well, we beat bullied according to NFL.com the #1 team in the NFL with Wentz....guess it wasnt just the browns and bears.....
If I know Birds fans... and I do...
It's the Super Bowl this year!
But really... the kid is damn impressive. Calm and cool and reads the defense like he isn't a rookie. Still too early for me to say the Eagles are a team to beat... but thrashing the Steelers definitely opened up some eyes.
And the once thought impossible has happened... the Rams have indeed scored a touchdown. 5 of them now! And we're 2-1! We have to be the worst 2-1 team, haha.
I am quite happy with the play Of Dak Prescott so far. That is all I have to say at the moment
I have already had my buddy who moved to Philly refer to the state as Wentzylvania. I bet he interneted that somewhere because he isn't that creative.
Wentz Wagon, Wentzlemania, Wentzylvania, etc.
Given the last time their was a rookie this impressive in the state of Pennsylvania at Quarterback I think there's only one question that needs to be asked ...
How long until Wentz rapes someone in a bathroom stall?

Too bad the Browns weren't in position to draft him....
Oh, wait...
Reject Philly kicker deprives us of win. That was our headline today.
Damn shame, made the pro bowl here as a rookie....fucked his groin up and hasnt been the same since.
I don't think Parkey was very good. Yeah, he made the Pro Bowl as an injury replacement. But throughout that whole season, I was never like... Parkey's got this with any ounce of confidence.
Going to the Charger game this Sunday. They play the saints. Looks like it's going to be lots of offense on display.

You knew Wentz was gonna be great since the Browns passed on him though.
Looks like JJ Watt might be shut down for the season with his back injury.
How bout them Cowboys

What do you want them to do with Romo? Dak has been playing great, but I can't wait for them to butcher this decision and hear the clock strike midnight for this run they're on.

what would make you think they would butcher the decision... Dallas has two damn good QBs , it a decision a lot of teams wish they had. quite frankly it a win win . Right now smart move would be stick with the hot hand which is Dak , keep riding the momentum. Some point down the line there going to need Romo. so right now just let him rest and get healthy. But if they decided to insert Romo back in , not going to be upset to be honest. Can not go wrong either guy in my opinion. I like the spot we are in... plus defense had been playing better than I expected. At the moment we are sitting pretty. I am quite happy right now.
Face it man, Dallas is going to have a QB controversy and they rarely, if ever work out well.
One has a bad game, then there becomes pressure on the front office and the coach, ESPECIALLY for a team thats so desperate to win like Dallas to second guess themselves and make a change.
Clearly they should stick with Dak and continue to play behind that o-line and hand the ball off 25 times and control games, make it as easy as possible for Dak. He's been winning even without that big baby Dez.
However, Jerry Jones wants Tony Romo as his QB....and you've been a Cowgirls fan long enough to know what Jerry wants, Jerry gets.
lol... like I said at the moment all signs point to Dak starting , if not. I am not going to get mad because I like Romo at QB also. So for me I can go either way. Also long as we continue to win , I am fine with who under center.
Would like to heard what happen with your eagles ... they drop two back to back , having not watch the games ... what going on with them

I'm the last person to blame the refs, but Eagles got robbed vs the Lions. There was enough missed calls that the front office sent in multiple tapes to get reviewed by the league, just so happened it was the same ref crew that got separated last season for poor officiating. Eagles were the better team in that game.
This week, Washington smoked us. Our Right Tackle is suspended for 10 games and we played a 5th round project player who got beat like a drum all game.
Only positive is Carson Wentz is looking every bit a franchise QB if our o-line doesnt get him killed. Sucks he doesnt have any weapons either...would be nice to have a Dez or Zeke or....o-line lol.
How about them Cowboys 8-1 , Zeke and Dak show is looking damn good. Defense is overachieving . I am happy right now , future is looking good

It's a fun time to be a cowboys fan for sure.
Do you think they should trade Romo? Or even trade Dez?
I can't see almost any situation where they trade Dez. Trading Romo is gonna be a bit difficult, because his contract is pretty heavy on the back end. If they can get a good deal that brings them a top level defensive player (ideally either on the line or the secondary), I would say make it, if not keep Romo. Having him around is only going to make Dak better and I think they would push each other in training camp.
9-1 for "Dem Boys " I been awhile since I felt this good .
Thanksgiving game against the Redskins next. Going to be a good game , can not wait
I feel sick that I'm pulling for them to win that one.

11-1 ... It was not a clean game , but a win is a win will take them. \
sorry guys I know you don't like to hear this but , it been a long time since I could really gloat.
so "how bout them Cowboys "
It has been a great season and they been able to pull out those close ones , that super bowl appearance is getting closer and closer, it been a long time , but it just might happen this year. still, long way to go, but hey the playoffs are getting closer.
In recent history, teams that rip off 10+ game winning streaks end up losing in the playoffs.

Of teams that make it to the playoffs, only one team leaves with a win each year.
You make it sound like Thunderdome...
Two teams enter, one team leaves....
Hey guys, every year 31 teams fail to win the Superbowl, odds are yours will too!
Time to get revenge on the Steelers for that early season drumming.
Who do you guys have for MVP?

They beat us at home. Steelers have had quite a production drop off on the road this year. I like our chances.

Well, my Seahawks are out of the playoffs, but that said, if they couldn't be in it any longer, I think this is probably one of the best final four I've seen in a long time in terms of fun games. All of them are super offenses so will probably be high scoring exciting games as well as a high scoring Super Bowl.
What are everyone else' thoughts on the final four?
My thoughts exactly. As long as anyone but New England wins I'll be happy with the eventual winner

Bummer about Zachary Orr.
Tough break for the kid, thought he had pretty high upside.
Damn, just as we solidified the middle of the field too. He was quietly one of our best players, and it's a shame. I'm glad he's getting out of the game without a life altering injury though.
Well Atlanta blew it.
Little of both really.
run the ball 3 times, kick the FG its over. That drive was as bad as Seattle throwing it on the 1.
EDIT: Also snapping the ball with 20 seconds on the clock was excellent.
NE should have got the ball down 11 with the 2 minute warning gone.
What the Pats did was literally unbelievable....but they never should have had a chance if ATL play called like a NFL team.
I know they never would...but fuck. 2nd and 11....down that shit twice and give it to your kicker who has missed 3 kicks all damn year to get that 11pt lead.
My wife is a Pats fan. This was rough. LOL
Thing is that it was still highly improbable that the Pats would come back, even with the mental errors of the Falcons. I can't stand the Pats, but I have to tip my cap to them. They made every play they needed to in the end to get the job done.
Not sure Tom will be flying high on the field at 84 years old....
