2013-14 College Basketball Discussion Thread

I have loyalties to UNC, Duke (i know right?) and Wake Forest, but I don't really watch college ball. So I guess I leave it to you guys to tell me how they do.

The big 3: Wiggins, Randle, and Parker are going to be something special.  I can't remember a time where there was as dominant of a trio as freshman as these three.  It's a shame we're only get to watch about 30 more games of each of these guys in college basketball until the enter the frozen wasteland that is the NBA.

You watch college ball for all the wrong reasons.

Oddly enough, college basketball did exist before the Kevin Garnett/Kobe Bryant era, and it was glorious.

College basketball is the sport in its purest form. The NBA is nothing more than a soft league full of grown men who whine and complain about everything and don't play any defense.

Because there is no reason to mandate somebody having to spend one year removed from high school before they can go to the NBA.  It prohibits someone from having a chance to make money, risk injury, and not to mention them going to one year of college does nothing for them if they're just going to leave after the first season.

March Madness is the reason to watch college ball. Always entertaining and upsets make it even more fun.
