He wasn't brought in to solve a problem. He was a luxury and a gift for Sir Alex in his last season. Utd were still left with a horrible midfield and worse wingers... who are still stinking out the place now. Yes he was fantastic in his first season and dragged Utd to the title, but he only covered up the problems, not solve them.
