Any of you read Steig Larrson's Girl with the dragon tattoo series? I recently read all three books and were the best criminal novels I have read.

Considering that criminal novels is not specifically my favorite genre, I would have to agree with this statement (with the possible exception of "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie).

The books gave us characters worth caring about. Some parts required a bit of a stretch on suspension of disbelief, but hey, we're all wrestling fans, we should be fine with that...lol. They were very nicely paced, revealing just enough to keep me wanting more. I could almost describe them as complete teasers in that sense. When I finished the Hornet's Nest, I instantly became aware of how sad I was that these novels were published posthumously and therefore we won't get to read anything else from Steig Larrson.

I hope the movies do the books justice, but I am scepitical on that, as the books were very slow paced with a lot of it requiring narrative that I don't think will be as interesting on screen. Unless Hollywood completely bastardize it of course :/

! JDM The Professional !

It's definitely one of the best series I've read.

Sad the author died though!!!

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! Each prayer accepted, and each wish resigned.
