Since Alex posted the review of the 3D version up It got me thinking about it and something I realized a long time ago.

Did you guys notice that the Lion King is pretty much just Hamlet for kids? and then the Lion King 2 is Romeo and Juliet.

My wife made the mistake of buying the DVD for my son when it came out. I don't think I've heard anything but hakuna matata for the past several weeks. She is under strict orders to never purchase another Disney movie again.
