I want someone with the size (6'11" - same as Danberry) and the training necessary to play the position to play it.  Newton is the closest available option.  I don't want to play a small lineup with my 5 best that aren't Danberry with the tallest of them being a mere 6'8" power forward that gives up 3 inches in height at least to other centers which will result him getting scored on constantly and in 20+ point blowout losses for the team.

Isn't that the sort of decision your coaches make during the games? If you have a good coach he'll pick the right guys to rotate into positions. If you keep pissing him off, he's more likely to make the oppisite choice just to spite you.

This is the same coach that walked out on Mississippi last season and apparently mows the lawn in his speedo.  He's more likely to continue berating/bullying/throwing things at Newton than to properly coach.  Also, he's already pissed off

That wasn't a straight answer at all.  Just because I could do something before doesn't necessarily mean I couldn't do it when I asked.  That's why I asked in the first place, and have been getting the run around ever since.  Not to mention in here alone I've gotten varying interpretations on whether or not I can do it now, which has only further served to make me more confused about it.

This is what I want to do.  Either tell me flat out that I can't or do as I requested.  It really shouldn't be that difficult, yet it's gotten to the point to where its become more complicated than advanced mathematics.

You really should have done it prior to locking in for the postseason. Just because it has been done in the past, doesn't necessarily mean Ian is going to ALWAYS allow it. It's kinda like... you made your bed... and now you have to lie in it.

Just move on from it... it's not worth the headache your going through to save Danberry from getting a minute or two of rest.
