I could care less what he called me that. He was going to be benched at some point regardless so I'd rather lock in like I planned on doing than get into some prolonged argument with him.

But Fredricks doesn't want to play for him, Hughes is ok.

Both those guys are on expiring deals which means he can sign whoever he wants next season and not have to worry about being over the cap if he is late to protections.

I know why Kirk is trading them, but I don't think Cory is paying over the odds by any means considering the relative career trajectories of the players who are changing hands.
