It's me and I was at work, had to be there at 7 and didn't get out until after five.

So...sorry.

And that shows exactly why the 12 hour limit is impossible, not only that but.. I'm not allowed to have anything with internet access -or- camera wise at work and out on the floor.  Which means if I wanted to check on FBL it would have to be on break or on lunch, and frankly, I only have 50 minutes off of the floor per day..

See where I'm going with this?

ANyways, I'm working on my draft now.

I'm against a 12 hour limit. 24hour should be the very least if one is considered (though I'd be against that, too). Just be patient and wait your turn. I'd never use a proxy anyway. The situation could change completely by the time your pick comes and I wouldn't want to be left with a player I didn't pick personally.

People need to relax.  It's a lot to run this game, so whenever Ian gets a bit of a break, it is well deserved in my eyes.  We've got people from all over the world playing this game, so time zones are for sure an issue.

I know that we love the FBL and can't wait to jump into the new season, but there is nothing wrong with a breather between seasons as well.  If the draft takes 4-5 days, then so be it.

There's no reason to have a limit. I haven't played in a while after getting fired last season, so I want things to move along, but after missing so much in two days last offseason I'm not going to rush the draft as well. Besides, Ian doesn't need to be by the PC three to four times a day updating this
