When Ian comes on next, it'll have been past BD's 24 hours. I quickly weighed the options

Had I waited
If Ian said yes, BD forfeited his pick due to time, no harm no foul
If Ian said no, BD forfeited his pick due to time, no harm no foul

Had I gone ahead
If Ian said yes, BD gets his pick, no harm no foul and BD gets a benefit
If Ian says no, BD forfeits his pick, no harm no foul

So, either way, I'm cool with whatever happens. Just wanting to help BD out cause I noticed there was a where's BD thread and he hasn't been online in a while.

Again not really fair I dont feel anymore. I am just a big BD fan as everyone else, but the rules of this game are committment to it. He could have sorted this out with someone beforehand and hasn't. I don't see why we should second guess decisions he might make or slow the game up.

Yup. It doesnt help the situation at all man, just creates more confusion in the end. I'm sure BD appreciates the effort, but Ian already gave his answer on the issue.

I vote for Ty to not be anywhere near this game...because lord knows the moment Ian so much as dares throw him a curve ball, quitting will likely occur. Plus, the 24 hour ordeal that was mentioned earlier is fair.

Ty, your heart may be in the right place, but Ian has made it QUITE clear that it isn't gonna fly.  If BD doesn't come on in the next 5 or so hours, then he gets skipped and it is Birmingham's pick (or whomever they may have traded it to).  It's pretty cut and dry at this point.
