So we're expanding to 12 next year and have a youth coach for young players and such but still can only have 6 protections or will protections be more?

Also can that be applied this year, protecting more players

Really like the new changes. The expanded rosters give it an all-new dimension, and can lead to some nice strategy changes.

I am hoping that the protections can be eliminated from Season 18 onwards with an expanded roster as contracts will expire more regularly. Protections was brought in to make a natural movement of players in and out of the game, but shouldnt be required anymore fingers crossed.
