Cause my rating with the team has been dropping, the general news stories are saying of impatience growing with me and the expectation to reach the play-offs just isn't feasible when your starting SG can't score a single point in one of your games.

Yeah, I get it... I quit on my team. Get over it.

If I make it through next week against two teams I expect to go 1-1 with, the week after that is probably an 0-2, I get fired and the opportunity to make this trade goes. It's a double-edged sword really because I've given Bismarck a few players alongside Majoe that should be in the play-offs the expectation is that is where I should be but I've surrounded them with fucking crap and it just won't happen

It feels greener in Seattle.  :)

You had an incredible team that you put some rebounding with, and boom.

But you had to deal with you're coach's antics, and dealt with them properly.

Then again, going by the last update of Ian's numbers thing, you're not entirely too green either.

But Jon leaving San Diego wasn't great for him (at first), Powers leaving Greenville for Calgary wasn't great for him, Strike leaving Tampa for Boston wasn't great for him, Cory leaving Tampa for Calgary wasn't great for him, Josh leaving Bismarck for Anchorage for Colorado wasn't that great for him given that he had Bobby Chang and Scott Cunningham and just had to calm down and put a team around them, Steven didn't do so hot after he left Roswell for Mississippi.

Is the number thing how many games before you get fired if you lose?

Black Death

will not know if it going to work out until next season ... in the end think Rob made a smart move in my opinion. when the writing is on the wall , you got to go

I get what you're saying, I was just being sarcastic lol

Also what's this numbers thing?  I've either seen it before and forgot about it or didn't know about it in the first place.  Probably the former.

I guess I'm cool being 8/10... Until I make another all-star caliber player mad...

Ian explained it in the chat box, I wasn't around, but what I gathered from those in, it's an approval rating of your job. You have your expectation that you are expected to do. Obviously 9 teams aren't all going to make the conference finals, so it's not the end all be all, there's also the job you do getting to that point. So Reya, you're at a 6 because of the whole Head coach/assistant coach stuff, as the owners probably views that as hurting your chances to make your goal as well as making the wrong press.

Now Bismark have got mediocre players surrounded by "fucking crap." There's no dressing that trade up as fair or even remotely good for Jacksonville and your attempt to do so is more laughable than the trade itself.

I don't question you for jumping ship and taking all your good players. I question that option being there in the first place. I'm with Justin on this. Players should not be rewarded for jumping ship. As for not instantly winning the FBL title, you're right that this trade won't do that for you, but this trade does turn a team who was no threat in a division into an instant playoff contender. It's taken me two seasons of difficult trades to do that with Greenville (and I'm still not there) but you've done it in one trade.

I took Greenville to the playoffs in their first season. So, suck it.

Ah, I see.  Hopefully I bump that number up lol

Where's this at, by the way?
