I made the trade because at the time, I needed to get out of Blade's shadow. And I needed to get guys on the team that wanted to play for me. So I made the trade with Powers to get the #3 overall pick (which turned out to be Dennis Reigns). I was fired from Vegas as soon as the trade happened.

Powers and Dorling came to a deal to send Lights back to Vegas.
