Krazy, you may not end up paying any attention to this, but I'm going to throw it out there...

Your season is over. It's an absolute dud. You might have the worst team in FBL history. Part of that is my fault in trading Harry Allen and Ty Williams before I left, but I chose to look our for myself instead of leaving Birmingham in a good place. So this is what you should do:

1. Accept your fate
2. Enjoy the season

Have fun this year. If you take it seriously with the shit stack of a team you have you'll get frustrated, so try and have fun with your squad. And use the season to read up on other threads and try to learn the game. Read the work of Hondo, Jon, Talon, TJ, Pancho, Blade, and other successful GMs to see how they navigate the game. Prepare for season 19 so you are ready to roll once that time comes around.

I know missing free agency sucks, but figure out how to proceed at this point. See if a SL team will accept a transfer with your remaining PR. Try and trade with another team. But don't blow up at everyone. Yes, you missed the majority of assets that were available, but Ian can't sit around and wait until all 32 GMs are logged on at the same time. It probably never happens, so he determines when the offseason kicks off. And it ends up first come, first serve.

PAY ATTENTION.... This is a key. I've learned the hard way in another place. I violated the salary cap and the in-season trade rules back to back... and now I don't have a team. The way you don't draft a guy who's already been picked is by reading the thread and checking before you submit your choice. Making mistakes can be helpful down the line as long as you learn from them.

I hope this info is helpful, if you so choose to read it. I'm not trying to be condescending in any way. I've made mistakes in these games and am trying to learn from them, some times with better success than others. But use the resources around you.... in other words, ask for help if you need it. This is a good group of people. If you ask nicely this group will be more than happy to help you out.

But most importantly have fun this season.... your team is abysmal.

I missed free agency and have no draft picks yet haven't bitched. I also pmed krazy a trade which he ignored.

Btw that draft pick is now hondos iirc. I traded it for swoop.
