Except its easier to just plug in grades and if we have to, copy and paste move them around than outright fill in an entire teams roster

Because the spreadsheet is something we all keep updated to be helpful, peoples courtesy is appreciated.

They are referencing the fact that people use it to help make decisions so they like to keep it updated to be as accurate as possible.

I feel you are griping about other people being courtious to other people, all of which has nothing to do with you, but as you said, no worries.
I believe even Ian told folks to tell Jon the player positions. So yeah you're in the minority here.

Yes, they will look at each team sheet to finalize any missing details such as grades and to make sure they didn't miss anything else. Until thr sheets are published they want as much info as possible to be as accurate as possible for those of us who reference it to help make decisions.
