Report: Sam Thompson to attend Hornets' training camp


Wyoming Wolves star Sam "Slam" Thompson will head to training camp with the Charlotte Hornets, according to a report from Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, citing league sources.

Thompson was drafted by the Wyoming Wolves of the FBL after finishing a four-year run in High School. In his senior season, Thompson averaged 10.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 32.5 minutes per game.

The 22-year-old stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 200 pounds.
