HOW THE FREE AGENCY DRAFT WILL WORK

This is the official rule thread for the free agency draft.  Some things have been modified from the time the ESPN news story was posted.

If you have players on your team at the start of the draft, you will forfeit draft picks to balance the draft.

Ex.  If a team has 1 player on the team, they will not have a pick in the FIRST round.

if a team has 2 players on the team, they will not have picks in the FIRST or SECOND round.

so on and so forth.



YOU MAY NOT TRADE DRAFT PICKS IN THIS DRAFT.


Any team picking out of turn in the draft will forfeit their pick.

Any team violating the draft order on multiple occasions will also be subject to league PR or Salary cap fines.

There will be no Proxy picks, if you have a proxy list, send it to ME and only ME.  Do not send other GM's your list. Alternatively, you can PM a link to a google doc with your draft board, if you want to help speed things along. 


Each Round will have a 24 hour limit for each pick.  If a team does not make a draft pick in their allowed time, I will consult their list, if the list is empty, I will forfeit that teams pick.


At any time you may "exit" the draft and forfeit any remaining picks.
