It was shocking, to say the least . It going to get people to tune into raw to see what happens next. But I am not sure what to think about it at the moment. It does open up some chances for something big down the line and it does also bring the Beast down to earth little bit. They did effective job building Brock into a monster , maybe too well of a job. Chance to reset a little bit and make him little more human.

I actually kind of liked it. I was just more loling at the fan reaction. Still was a WTF moment.
To me it could be a good story if they play up the fact that Lesner just got super over confident. He's Brock Fucking Lesner, nobody can even touch him. He's the Patriots of Pro Wrestl..... oh fuck somebody had the audacity to dominate me?
Plus Goldberg has signed on for additional dates, including the Royal Rumble.
This is the starting point for a longer feud between them. I think it's really effective in building a rematch, which is all this finish was designed to do. And after a 50 plus minute RAW v SD tag match, a quick finish like that was welcome.
For a change a finish no one saw coming, actually worked and is a great way to add some interest to a Brock match (not just his usual stiff, bust the dude open hard way, 70 german suplexes, F5, done) as it shows even the baddest guy on the roster can be beat. Plus it puts Goldberg over huge as a legit deal to the new fans who didn't see him during his WCW run.
Also worth keeping in mind that Goldberg hurt his shoulder on RAW last week, maybe they were protecting him as he's injured and this was the best quick match and finish they could come up with. He did say he wanted more time to train and get ready for a long match with Brock.
Some hardcore wrestling fans will freak out at any finish they don't see coming. It's actually quite funny how badly they react when they get worked.
But on another topic. Dat Revival DIY match on Takeover though.
I really hope we see Revival get the call up. They are fantastic!
I liked it tbh, and yeah the Rival/DIY was amazing, best tag match in WWE that I can 'member.

I mean...I certainly wasn't expecting them to give us a technical masterpiece so I'm fine with this result. Considering how lazy Brock's matches have been since he ended the streak, I really didn't expect much on his end either.
The first/last time Goldberg was in WWE, they didn't give him a proper run IMO. HOWEVER, I'm not craving for some long lost Goldberg-WWE era and I'm less sure about whether I like his involvement now that Stephanie supposedly wants him to go for the big one. I could maybe see Braum holding the title at mania and Goldberg kinda getting less boos against someone like that (but I love Braum)...idk. I don't see the point.
We have Cena as our supposed superhero. That's enough man.
I get the feeling they're going to just copy the angle from 2003 and have Brock cost Goldberg his rumble win and then they have their rematch at WM, which Brock wins.
Also, that NXT Takeover show was excellent once again. The tag title match is one of the best matches I've seen all year. Amazing timing, intensity, story and the finish was perfect.

Pretty much the same thing I thought Sam. Takeover show was a homerun. Oh Mickie James still look goofd and actually same to be a better worker ow than I last saw her work.
