With Foley leaving WWE, all signs point to him going to TNA and they are already working on merchandise for him.

Thoughts?

good for him...won't make me watch tna, but it'll be interesting to see what he does there.

Black Death

well... if they had him actually behind the scenes and helping with the booking ...maybe he can help them...

Foley is huge for TNA. then again, look how little Angle did. Rather than bringing the company up the company pulled him down, and it spelled the begging of the end.

Was a big Foley fan until I met him, and when I realised that he's just as bad as Hogan and Austin. When something doesn't go his way he gets his knickers in a twist and all upset. Let him go to TNA, and see how he has exactly the same effect as Sting, Christian, Angle and Booker T before him... Sod all!

Quoted for truth.

I don't see him having a huge impact unless he helps from a creative point of view.

Although if they do restart the feud he had with Samoa Joe in ROH that would be cool.  Although I don't know how Ring of Honour vs Ring of Hardcore would work in TNA, considering they have a gimmick match every 3 seconds, or so it seems.

Still, it's a headline grabbing move that I'll follow with interest.  I bet TNA are offering him a TON of money as well and with the amount of kids Foley has, he probably needs every penny these days, lol.

Peace

I'm also a Foley fan...I've met him twice, and have had no problems with him...I met his son the second time too :)...I did have a problem when I met Ric Flair though! He needs an attitude adjustment!
i'll continue to keep watching foley

It'll be an interesting development at the least.

I just really hope he doesn't wrestle unless he really is in the kind of health to do it.

Foley needs to go to TNA and be there Jerry Lawler. Do commentating, and wrestle and put over wrestlers when needed.

QuoteWade Keller of PWTorch.com is reporting that Mick Foley has agreed to contractual terms with TNA. He will be able to debut with the company once he's contractually allowed to do so. His WWE contract expires at the end of August, but I'm not sure whether he has a 90 day non-compete clause or not.

TNA just had tapings last night, so it will still be a little while before he could possibly show up on television (of course, this being only possible if he doesn't have a non-compete clause). They have a pay per view September 14th that could be an option, but there's no word yet on how TNA plans on using Foley if and when he does show up.

It's official now

Don West really need to go, so perhaps Foley could be a breath of fresh air  on commentary. I can’t figure out why TNA would stick with West since the beginning of the company when it seems like he was supposed to be a temp until TNA could get a better color commentator.

Bryan

they should get him to do commentary.

seriously, after six years, west still comes off as if they just picked him up from the home shopping network.

If you watch early TNA, West and Tenay both seem to be better announcers.

This isn't the first time Mick Foley has left the WWE, he did so last time because they controlled his outside appearances to an extent he was unhappy with. His previous negotiations with TNA failed because he was going to be working more often and earning less money that if he remained with the WWE. I can only imagine that his situation hasn't changed and he'd rather do less actual wrestling. I'm hoping he can be of benefit to TNA. But like any one else it's down to what TNA do with him, and hopefully that they listen to his ideas as well.

I've met him, at Universal Uproar in Coventry...

but i thought this was a foley porn thread. TNA confuses the shit out of me.

Black Death

Mick needs to work on the story and the booking side , forget on air ...TNA problem is they make no damn sense and it got to the point were it hurts to watch. they listen to his ideas ... hey maybe they improve
