Thanks anyway, the one I was on had DRM and it played havoc with my MP3 player so I had to always burn the tracks to a CD, then rip them to MP3 just to put them on there so thought I would try an alternative to skip that process.

I use Napster and remove the DRM with Sound Taxi. For some odd reason that happens to be completely legal. And it works great!

Removing any DRM violates the evil evil DMCA and is technically not legal.

eMusic is good if you like indy music.

iTunes sells DRM free tracks with iTunes Plus listings.

Amazon MP3 sells lots of well known artists in MP3 format.
