Title: Danger Mouse and Jack White Record Together?
Post by: Rob on February 17, 2011, 06:18:06 PM
Quote from: Uncut'Rome', the collaborative album from Danger Mouse and Italian composer Daniele Luppi, will be released on May 16.

The album features artists including Norah Jones and Jack White on vocals.

It was recorded during sporadic sessions over the past five years and is inspired by the film soundtrack work of Ennio Morricone. It was recorded at Rome's Forum Studios, a facility Morricone helped found, and featured contributions from musicians that worked with Morricone himself.

White and Jones sing on three tracks each. The former sings on 'The Rose With The Broken Neck', 'Two Against One' and 'The World', while Jones sings on 'Season's Trees', 'Black' and 'Problem Queen'.

Over the last 5 years! That's a long ass time to record! I guess Jack White has had a lot of other stuff on his plate over the years, and Danger Mouse really needs a big follow up. I am looking forward to these though,

Anyone else?

This is very relevant to my interests, I've just recently been able to listen to the Gray Album and it is just fantastic. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
