- The new WWE Divas reality series on E!, Total Divas, will premiere on Sunday, July 28th at 10pm ET/PT. According to a press release sent out yesterday, the weekly one-hour series will "take viewers into a whole new world of drama when Total Divas explores life beyond the ring for seven WWE Divas who must wrestle with the challenges of life in the spotlight, a grueling work and travel schedule, and the intense competition for prominence in a career that leaves little time for a personal life."

The original plan for WWE's new Divas reality show was to have the full cast made up of new Diva recruits from a recent Divas search camp that began in Los Angeles. Only two of the potential Divas made it to WWE so they had to fill the rest of the spots on the show with current Divas.

Regarding the show, a source says the E! cameras just happened to be there at WrestleMania 29 when The Bella Twins, Cameron and Naomi were informed that their six-person tag match with Brodus Clay, Tensai, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow wasn't going to take place. This now has led to speculation that the match was never planned for the pay-per-view in the first place and that it was a work to get some good footage for the new show on the E! network.

Crazy Kyd

I'm surprised they didn't think of this sooner.

Mike Powers

They did.  It was supposed to be a flagship show for the WWE Network.

They did. It was called NXT, Season 3.

James, everytime you post in the OOC your perception of "yourself" is just as apparently off key 'in game' as GM Franchise as it is 'out of game' as yourself lol.

Now I know how Franchise feels every game.  Speak your mind and you get singled out for it.

Crazy Kyd

I meant much sooner than that.

Either way, interesting.

WWE's new Total Divas reality TV show has a lot of company officials excited because they feel it's going to open doors for people to see a different product from the WWE brand, besides pro wrestling.

People within WWE have seen the first two episodes and note that good storylines will be featured on the show. One has to do with new girls coming in, one has to do with WrestleMania drama and the other has to do with the Divas managing romance and life on the road.

The show is being billed as a reality TV show but all scenarios will be scripted.

That'd be worth it.
