So was talking with my buddy about this on Facebook, who are ya'lls top 5 NFL players, restricting one to your favorite team (as for me I'd have 5 eagles in my top 5)

10. Ed Reed, FS (Ravens) -- Could make a case for the entire Ravens d, but Reed is awesome to watch. Ball hawk and huge hitter, the perfect combination.
9. James Harrison, OLB (Steelers) -- Such a badass, plays old school football and is terrifying.
8. Javorskie Lane, FB (Dolphins) -- Huge fan of the guy at A&M, probably has the most truck power in the league. Glad he got his shot with the Phins this year, and he's been an animal.
7. Tim Tebow, QBish (Jets) -- Been a huge fan since Florida, being my college team. Putting arguably the greatest single season in College history and his ability to win games in the NFL is evident. A good guy in a league of DUI's and poor character, a true leader.
6. Andre Johnson, WR (Texans) -- Such a stud at WR, one of the GOAT's, and earned my respect kicking Cortland Finnegans ass last season. Very humble dude.
5. Jared Allen, DE (Vikings) -- #69 is not only one of the best defensive ends of all time, but a great character too.
4. Rob Gronkowski, TE (Patriots) --- Unreal talent and bangs porn stars on the REG, such a BRO.
3. Ndamakung Suh, DT (Lions) -- Freak of nature, plays old school style of football and is entertaining to watch.
2. Clay Matthews, OLB (Packers) -- The most athletic player on the defensive side of the ball, so good.
1. Trent Cole, DE (Eagles) -- Favourite Eagles player, gotta order a jersey for xmas of his. Always plays good, plays with heart, and one of the most underrated players in the NFL.

Favorite all-time is Brian Dawkins. But as for current, here they are.

10. Nick Barnett (LB) - Bills: He's done it good for so long. Also a former Beaver... see a trend? Hopefully his hard work will all be worth it and he gets accepted in to the HoF.
9. Brandon Browner (CB) - Seahawks: This kid as come a long way since leaving Oregon State after his sophomore season. And now he's one of the best shutdown corners in the NFL.
8. David Akers (K) - 49ers: He will go down as my favorite kicker to ever play the game.
7. Ray Lewis (MLB) - Ravens: Love this guy. A complete turn around as a person and one of the greatest LB's of all time.
6. Steven Jackson (RB) - Rams: One of the most unheralded but most consistent running backs since he joined the NFL. Plus, he's also a former Beaver.
5. JacQuizz Rodgers (RB) - Falcons: One of my favorite Beavers of all time. I think it's only a matter of time before we see him as the starter in the Falcons backfield.
4. Troy Polamalu (FS) - Steelers: He's from Oregon, so I've always taken a liking to him, even if he did play for USC.
3. Charles Woodson (CB) - Packers: Big time playmaker and I have a deep love for secondary players. He's one of the best CB's of all time.
2. Tom Brady (QB) - Patriots: As much as I hate the Patriots, I love the way Brady plays. He's so calm in the pocket and usually makes great decisions. Fun to watch.
1. LeSean McCoy (RB) - Eagles: Absolutely loved this kid in college and was stoked when the Eagles drafted him. I had a good feeling he'd tear it up in the NFL too and he has. Need to get me a McCoy jersey myself.

Yeah, I think Dawkins is almost every post-80's Eagles fan favourite. I was near depressed when they let him go a few years back.

niice top 10. Nice work color coding players with the teams there, Cory. ha As a Jaguars fan, I'll limit my players to 1...like that'll be hard nowadays

10. Bart Scott LB (Jets)- 3 Simple reasons. 1. If I was running a crossing route towards the grill of Bart Scott, I'd probably decide to run a post all the way home. 2. I love the vets still gettin' done, despite my dislike for the Jets. 3. PROMO SKILLZ

9. J.J. Watt, DE (Texans)- The reason the Texans were willing to wave to Mario Williams is because this guy is such a BEAST in his own right. He's starting to really get credit this year, as the Monday Night Football crew were gushing about him have the game. But he deserves it. Young and ruthless, a very long and bright career ahead of him.

8. Troy Polamalu, FS (Steelers)- Is there anything sweeter than how fast this guy closes in on a ball on instinct? Sucks he can't stay healthy the past season and a half, but when he's in the game, he completely kills half of the passing attack's playbook. And, come on...the head and shoulders commercials.

7. LeSean McCoy, RB (Eagles)- Playmaker in its finest form at tailback. Love him the same reason I loved Brian Westbrook back in his days in the Eagles backfield. A threat in all facets, and isn't afraid to pass block you right in the chin.

6. Victor Cruz, WR (Giants)- Love the guys that come out of nowhere and you can't help but wonder...how the fuck did they not see how many plays this guy can make earlier?! Great at possession and deep threat, and who doesn't love the salsa endzone dance? (Cory)

5. Jason Smith, DE (49ers)- Gritty, old-school, unstoppable. In a defense built on core, vintage defense, this guy is the perfect example. And I f'n love it. He refuses all interviews and any meaningless activities that don't involve him, his team and the football field. Passion and no-nonsense.

4. Ray Rice, RB (Ravens)- Little guy who'll pop you right the mouth as he runs through you. Love the backs who just...seem to defy logic. When Ray Rice is running into the gut with James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley waiting for him, logic says that Rice is about to get flattened. With those runs? He says FUCK LOGIC.

3. Vernon Davis, TE (49ers)- Any question? He's a tight end who run blocks like an O-tackle, controls the dropoff like a classic Tight End and sprints down the f'n field like a deep threat WR. He's everything you could want in a TE, and he's been motivated ever since that game a couple years back when Singletary benched him. Big wake up call, and the moment he decided it was about the team and not him, he's been the best of the best.

2. Maurice Jones-Drew, RB (Jaguars)- There are 53 men on the Jaguars roster. We have one playmaker. One. A single one. And despite the fact that last year, he was ONE...he still led the league in rushing. FUCK LOGIC. He's got the legs of a bull, and he's so hard to get down to that grass. I hate that he's stuck on such a shit-show in Jacksonville, I just hope we surround him with talent in the next few years before it's too late.

1. Ben Roethlisberger, QB (Steelers)- Fuck the shit with the 'rape case', whatever that mess was. Let the press twist it to whatever they want. Ben's been a different guy ever since, dedicated to being a better guy on and off the field. And there isn't a single QB in the NFL I love watching as much as this guy. Almost always makes the first guy miss, managing to be so successful with a sub-par offensive line all these years. When you think two minute drills, most peeps think of the Bradys and Mannings. I think of Big Ben. Combine his clutch with his extension of plays and his delegation of the ball...STILL underrated, if that's possible.

Justin

Are you referring to favorite players or who we think is the actual top 10?

GM Franchise

10. Vince Wilfork, DT (Patriots) - I love this guy especially when he runs with the ball. Fun player to watch.
9. Ray Lewis, MLB (Ravens) - Not even time can stop Ray Lewis. First ballot hall of famer.
8. Troy Polomalu, FS (Steelers) - I DESPISE the Steelers but think that Polomalu is one of the best Safeties of all time. The guy is all over the field and when he's not there the Steelers Defense takes a HUGE hit.
7. Wes Welker, WR (Patriots) - The guy is amazing. Gets a hundred or more catches seemingly every season. He's an elite level receiver who is all over the place every game.
6. Rob Gronkowski, TE (Patriots) - The guy is half man, half machine. He's a robot that catches almost everything thrown his way and takes 5 guys to get him down in most cases. The guy is a monster.
5. Marshawn Lynch, RB (Seahawks) - Big fan of Lynch. I think he's a top five RB and got there by doing lots of hard work. Possibly the hardest runner in the entire NFL.
4. Stevie Johnson, WR (Bills) - Another guy I'm a big fan of. Always end up with him on my fantasy money league teams. Consistent and always seems to get 3-5 catches a game even in the worst situations.
3. Victor Cruz, WR (Giants) - Been a fan since last year. The guy is an exciting playmaker and will be the top WR in the league within the next 2 years.
2. Tim Tebow, QB/Jack of All Trades (Jets) - He's a gamer! He's a baller! He's a playmaker and a shotcaller! As many of you know I'm a HUGE Tebow supporter and I can't wait for it to be Tebow Time in New York very soon.
1. Tom Brady, QB (Patriots) - I think he's the best there is and he continues to show why every game he plays. Maybe the best quarterback of all time.

James, everytime you post in the OOC your perception of "yourself" is just as apparently off key 'in game' as GM Franchise as it is 'out of game' as yourself lol.

Now I know how Franchise feels every game.  Speak your mind and you get singled out for it.

TOP TEN FAVOURITES TO WATCH...seems more of my bag...

10. Michael Vick - Ok I hate his stance on Scooby Doo, but he is very exciting. Whether its which opposing lineman is going to attempt to Games of Throne him, whether its putting up a 30 yard bomb from a southpaw or its twinkle toes running. I can remember when he broke 1000 yards rushing for the season a few years back, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it to happen.

9. Drew Brees - I think he has done a lot for the city of New Orleans post natural disasters as well as being a fun guy behind centre to watch. Really poised, a natural leader and for me one of the best QBs to play the game.

8. Devin Hester - C'mon you dont have to be a Bears fan to be excited about watching Devin Hester return a kick or something. Everyone just WAITS to see what will happen. Notably it hasnt happened much lately, but its one of those things that everytime he is about to return one the commentary team fill us in on his dangerous nature and all time stats just incase we forgot from the last punt.

7. Calvin Johnson - I dont like the Lions, but let's be frank. You could throw up your first born child with 11 decepticons covering him and he would still find a way to bring it down. Exciting to watch and kind of a freak of nature.

6. Tony Gonzalez - 2nd all time in receptions in the history of the NFL for a reason. The emergence of the TE as a threat specifically in the last 5 years can all suck a massive dick because if it wasn't for him then they'd be nowhere.

5. Ray Rice - I think there is something about this guy running the ball which is just kind of cool. Maybe it's that little engine that could mentality which is so appealing. But yeah he is fun to watch and he just gives me the feeling he is going to break a big one.

4. Tim Tebow - I hate the focus on Tebow, but I am going to say this...he had me tuning into more Denver games last season since the days of Elway's horse teeth and Davies anti migraine braces. Now I have to find ways to watch bits of the Jets as well. Why? Because I am pretty sure Tebow is going to lineup and kick the opening kick off sooner or later.

3. Cam Newton - He lacks maturity and apparently thinks he is Superman, but he is exciting to watch. No doubt later on he will have been found to have had sex with the entire Panthers cheerleading squad wearing a Batman mask, but until then he's worth tuneing into see.

2. Matt Forte - This English analyst is a running back fan. I will be honest when I lived in Chicago we moved there during the days of Sweetness and I was hooked. I was further hooked when Sweetness retired and we kept the faith with the often overlooked Neal Anderson and the unfortunately named Brad Muster. I tried to keep the faith through a load of jobs worths like Curtis Ennis...Cedric Benson...the might do it years of Anthony Thomas and Thomas Jones and the why did you buy his rookie card Ian "Rashaan Saalam"...NOW THE BEARS HAVE A BACK. I liken him more to a Neal Anderson than a Payton, but I firmly believe he is the best all around running back in the NFL and with a healthy Forte my life feels complete.

1. Brian Urlacher - Yes I once went to Poland, pretended to be Brian Urlacher and received preferential treatment from a night club for an evening. That is a true story of great line jumping, free drinks and stupid Polish kids posting pics with me on their facebook. Without a doubt he is my favourite Bears player and the reason I love Bears defense. I love the way even with his career probably over and him not being as mobile anymore he still commands the middle for Chicago and is desperate to get a superbowl ring. God speed to Brian Urlacher! I wear my 54# with pride!

10. Jared Allen - I love that crazy son of a bitch.

9. Justin Smith - See above

8. Patrick Peterson - The guy is just all over the field and is a stud defender.

7. Ray Rice - Explosion. That's how it looks when he's coming out of the backfield with space.

6. Rob Gronkowski - Fuckin' porn stars and scoring touch downs. It's the only thing he knows.

5. Clay Mathews - A monster of a LB.

4. Aaron Rodgers - If I can't pick TB12, I pick Aaron Rodgers.

3. Golden Tate - Haha, just kidding. But I fucking love the name Golden.

3. Arian Foster - Everyone in the league knows he's the best RB there is, and they STILL can't fucking stop him.

2. Peyton Manning - He's funny as hell and as much as I hated him as a member of the Colts, I love him now.

1. Darelle Revis - Stud corner back, gotta love him.
