The logical gamer in me says $40 is a more reasonable price, but I may end up getting it on release date anyway. Besides, that way I can master playing online and not get raped weeks later.

Yeah these are the kind of fighters that get all wonky. From what I've read, you can combo pretty easy so it won't matter what button order you push. Seems kind of basic but overall it looks fun.

Both me and the wife spent all mornings looking at a bunch of vids for this. She's not too happy, since as she pointed out to me, "it's been ten years since the last one, and it looks like none of the returning characters have had a single gameplay update since then".

All the same moves, just a prettier wrapper.

That said, I was SHOCKED to see Trish from DMC and Amaratsu from Okami get in.

Amaratsu will be cheap as hell to play with once mastered.
