Who remembers Digimon Virtual Pets?

Funny topic, who remembers the ol' digimon virtual pets that came out 1996 and finished early 2000s?

They were like tamagochis but they could battle


Anywho, I was scrounging around the net, seeing if they were still getting sold and I found that they are on ebay for over 100 dollars each! LOL

Someone made the exact same digimon v pet into a computer game with more digimon, in color and you can battle online.

Pretty cool idea from this guy.

I don't know how.  I think it was a joke type present from somebody...

.. but I ended up with one somehow.

Now this was back when I was in High School and back then my Mom was into drugs.  So I remember one time she was being busted for like Pot or something.  While they were searching the house they found this stupid thing and the Cop INSISTED that the screen should open up and reveal a secret compartment full of drugs.  He tried for half an hour to open the screen.  Then he just took a hammer to it.

Funny, funny thing.  EVERY single time my Mom got busted was due to people telling on her... and EVERY single time they would all go out of their way to mention that I never did any drugs.

The only reason I got SR44 type batteries. Loved these things. I even had the device made from the second season of digimon.

Got a new version for the pc now. So much better, and there is battle leagues as well! So much fun!!
