This is a list of songs that I have heard recently, that I think you may or may not have know of, as I didn't when I heard them.  Or, maybe there's some closet fans.  I don't know.  I don't come to the Music board that much.  I listen to alot of talk radio....

- Best part of the one above is the line "There will be love love love... all over her face."  I find that hillariously evil

- Think I first heard this in a commercial.  really neat video though.

I saw Matt & Kim last fall, they hit the stage  before Weezer did, plus the song Daylight's on a commercial, I think for Vodka or something.

I don't care for Noah and the Whale., but Free Energy is great, new album comes out soon. I've had Dream City for awhile too. Unfortunately for the Knux, Cappucino is their best song, I didn't like anything else off of their album.

Jesus Fuck Christ, you KNEW those bands?????

I'm impressed.  I would be moreso if it weren't for the fact you changed your name, and now I have no idea who you were.

I've got a mate that went to school with Noah and the Whale's lead singer, Charlie Fink. Good band, I like them. Check out Laura Marling if you like their intelligent lyrics.

Good choice. Her album was a great performance. Hard to believe she's only about 18 or 19 years old.

! JDM The Professional !

Ida Maria is an interesting artist who will be big mainstream in the next few years. Her first album was alright, had some good songs on it, not as solid as you'd hope.

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! Each prayer accepted, and each wish resigned.

Ok... so there's this annoying Kisha chick or whatever her name is, that released yet another in horrible pop songs that is catchy enough to get play, but the lyrics are horrible.  I really don't want my daughter watching this shit at a young age, as she'll start thinking that breaking all these laws is cool, and stop showering for 3 days.  I give you this:

Now ,the REASON I post this is because... I have heard this other rendition of the song that is mildly awesome, and the bad habits of the music video are gone.  I also posted a video of the same girl, Alison, singing another song.  She has one of the best voices I've heard in awhile.
