Title: Taking Over the Book - Pre-Season Scenario 1
Post by: Hondo on November 18, 2014, 06:26:16 AM
QuoteIn this thread is posted the scenario given to you. You can ask Michael PS Hayes questions in this thread. Also in this thread, you post your booking plan. I plan on normally doing a 72 hour deadline, but since this is a beta test, we can proceed if and whenever everyone is finished. Good luck!

SCENARIO 1: CREATING A (GREEN) MONSTER

With the retirement/release of The Great Khali, Vince is pretty desperate to find another monster giant for the roster. Although I gotta say, Khali hadn't been used as a monster in years, but I digress. But anyway, Vince has personally found a giant wrestler and wants to bring him in to wreak havoc on the roster.

His name is Kostas Kastopolos, a Greek sheepherder who wrestles on the weekends in his native Greece and occasionally in Cyprus and Italy. He's about 7-foot-4 and roughly 400 pounds. He has an intimidating presence, but his physique is only average. He's been used primarily as a face, working as the son of a Greek god. But Vince is dead set on making him a heel. I'm personally worried about whether or not he can pull off being a heel, but I don't really have a say in the matter. Not to mention I've not been impressed with his in-ring work, even for a big guy. We're not talking El Gigante bad, but I've seen better. In other words, he's about as green as Terry Gordy's face after a night of drinking Southern Comfort and getting hand jobs from Dark Journey.

Vince is desperate to get another big man on the roster, so he's personally waiving the required tour of duty in NXT for Kastopolos. He'll be ready to go on next week's Raw.

Your job is to get over Kastopolos as a monster heel as much as you can in a four week period. Vince would like two weeks of promos on Raw, his debut in Week 3, an appearance again in Week 4, and a match at the upcoming Pay-Per-View. Vince doesn't have a particular gimmick in mind, all he wants is for Kastopolos to be portrayed as an intimidating heel. So you have free reign on deciding what sort of gimmick to use.

Also, segments are required for Raw and the PPV. Segments and/or matches for any of the other WWE shows or programs (Smackdown, Main Event, etc.) are completely optional. We can always show replays of the Raw segments on these shows. But if you want to book him on other shows, feel free.

If you need more information, I'll try to answer as many questions as I can.

Good luck! You're gonna need it!

1. How much detail do we need to go into vis a vis the segments. Do we have to write out full promos/etc. or do we just synopsize?

2. What are the limits on who we can use vis a vis other members of the roster?

3. Is Kostas Kostopalos his 'WWE' name or do we have to rebrand him? Do we have to name his finisher/etc?

There's probably some more, but if there is I'll let you know when I think of it

I would imagine a rebranding is in order, because that name is almost as bad as Dolph Ziggler, and he'll never be over!

Serious question though, how is his English?

That is entirely up to you. I really don't expect full-on promos or anything. The advice I would give is that the other players will be voting on the winner. Aim to impress them. But don't kill yourself writing detailed promos either.

2. What are the limits on who we can use vis a vis other members of the roster?

No main event or upper level talent. Midcarders or less. Vince doesn't want to job out his established stars just yet. If you want to use a specific person, ask me and I'll see if Vince will clear it.

3. Is Kostas Kostopalos his 'WWE' name or do we have to rebrand him? Do we have to name his finisher/etc?

Kostas Kostopolos is his real, given name. He'll need to be given a new name. Naming the finisher is entirely up to you. Although I'll point out, he used a standard Powerbomb as a finish in most of his indy matches.

There's probably some more, but if there is I'll let you know when I think of it

Decent. He can speak fairly well, but he does have a strong Greek accent.

For potential jobber fodder - I'm looking at either Heath Slater or 'The Kid' - Zach Ryder.  Would Vince have an issue with them being used to get this guy over?

Can we put him with a manager or someone who is already on the roster who can speak for him?  Or is that Lana/Rusev territory?

I asked Vince, and he said "What the F@!& is a Zack Ryder and a Heath Slater?". So I think you can use them with no problems.

Yes, you can set him up with a manager, so long as said manager is a current WWE employee.

HHH himself volunteered to book the rest of the show. What a stand up guy he is. He even volunteered to wrestle (and win) every single match! Also, you appear to be having a stroke. You may need to see a medical professional.

Does Vince want him as a standalone heel (with or without a manager) or can he be loosely affiliated with another wrestler/team/table?

Are we allowed to push the boat out on the gimmick, or are sponsors going to complain if we get too "Edgy"?

For now, he'd rather this person not be directly aligned to another wrestler. They can be managed by the same person, but their names shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as one another.

Are we allowed to push the boat out on the gimmick, or are sponsors going to complain if we get too "Edgy"?

Since Vince wants this guy to get over, he's allowing you to push the envelope a little. But bear in mind, pushing it too far will certainly draw complaints. Use common sense and best judgement.

I've just realized I know absolutely nothing about the current roster, owing to me being a failed wannabe hollywood screenwriter. Who are the current 'good guys' on the roster not named John Cena that I can make use of?

Vince said to use Raven and to job the crap out of him. I reminded him that Raven wasn't on the roster and hadn't been for over 12 years. He wanted to rehire Raven to specifically get buried by the new guy, but I managed to talk him out of it. I showed Vince a copy of the roster and he started swearing loudly that he didn't recognize half of them. He pointed to a few names, so these are the ones you can use.

Big E Langston
Darren Young
Diego (Los Matadores)
El Torito (Los Matadores)
Fernando (Los Matadores)
Heath Slater
Hornswoggle
Justin Gabriel
Kofi Kingston
R-Truth
Sin Cara
Titus O'Neal
Xavier Woods
Zack Ryder

Just so we're clear, do you mean specifically a debut match?

Specifically, no. It can be a match, it can be a backstage or in-ring appearance, etc. The main goal of Week 3 is to get Kostas live and in person on Raw. The only week he is REQUIRED to have a match is on the PPV.

Vince will allow you to modify or tweak the gimmick of anyone on the previous list, so long as it doesn't change their alignment. But only if it results in Kostas getting more over.

Ok, seeing as this is the beta game and a bit of a fuck around until we get started properly, I'm going to get started with my plan.

It's basic, simple and a little bit old school.  Also involves taking a current Diva and making her into a manager.  So while it's debuting this new character, it's also putting her at the forefront of this new character.  Here's what I've come up with:

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION:

Name:  Talos – The God Among Men.

Finisher:  Hammer of the Gods – Burning Hammer.

Background:  Talos is a character from Greek mythology.  He was created by Zeus to protect his lover Europa.  In WWE his character is a protector of Alicia Fox – the person who controls and uses Talos for her own bidding.

Now known simply as Alicia she has been repackaged and is being pushed as someone who believes she is a Goddess who should be worshipped.  She has brought Talos to the WWE to ensure that everyone will worship at her feet.  She's his manager, his Goddess and she has total control over this seemingly unstoppable monster.

Talos is a masked monster of a man.  In mythology he was cast from bronze and so his attire and ring gear reflects this.  He is a relentless destroyer.  His only purpose in life is to worship Alicia and he will carry out any order she has.

WEEK 1 – MONDAY NIGHT RAW.

Alicia Fox interrupts the commentators as they shill some radioactive looking mountain dew and the WWE Network – available for 9.99, expect in the UK.  Screw you UK.

She is debuting her new character and direction.  She is dressed in a white dress, with golden sandals and accessories.  Think a really sexy, modern looking Greek goddess look and you're on the right track.

Alicia cuts a promo about how no matter how hard she works, how good she gets on the mic and in the ring, she has been over looked and ignored.  She buries the other divas, Total Divas and the WWE for failing to recognise her talents and give her the opportunities she deserves.  She says she's sick of this and of being passed over by those who don't deserve it.  She calls herself the only Goddess in WWE and how a Goddess should be worshipped.  She invites all the WWE fans to worship her, but she's booed out of the building.

Alicia understands that fans today respect nothing, but there is one thing they have to respect and that's FEAR.  Alicia plans to rule the WWE with fear.  She has searched the world to find the right person, the right monster, the right unstoppable force.  If the fans and the WWE won't give her the respect and adulation she deserves, then she will force them to worship at her feet.  Alicia then tells the world to watch the screen, because today marks the beginning of the end.  Video screen kicks in to life.

Video is dark in tone, cut with shots from Greek mythology, references to Gods and Titans.   Video shows a large man, striking down various opponents with unbelievable power and ferocity.  He is a massive man, a god among men.  He turns to the camera as the video ends.  His face is hidden by a mask, but his burning red eyes are visible.  He leans back and roars loudly as the words 'Talos is coming,' run across the screen to end the video footage.
Cut back to the arena where Alicia calls Talos a God among men.  She promises the pain and suffering that Talos will inflict on the WWE will echo throughout time and be remembered forever.  She leaves with the line, "thanks to Talos, you will all worship me."

She goes backstage as the commentators put over her new character and the threat that Talos may bring to WWE.

WEEK 1 – SMACKDOWN.

A quick backstage segment with Alicia.  She again puts over Talos, gives some more background on her new motivation and direction.  Then another video - similar in tone and content to the one on RAW - is shown to continue to hype Talos and his arrival.

WEEK 2 – RAW.

Alicia is walking backstage when she over hears Heath Slater talking smack about her and Talos to some unknown backstage nerd.  There's lots of jokes from Slater about Greek stuff (kebabs, olives, a country with no money) which don't go down well with Alicia.  She tells Slater that he is a fool and he will bow down and worship her.  Slater laughs it off, but Alicia tells him that next week Talos will make his debut on RAW and Slater will be the first of his many victims.  He looks concerned as Alicia leaves.

WEEK 2 – SMACKDOWN.

Heath Slater is about to step in to the ring for a match.  Before the match starts, Alicia appears on the screen to remind him that Talos is coming and Slater is his first target.  Slater looks worried and another hype video for Talos plays.  This video ends differently as Talos speaks for the first time.  His voice is deep and menacing.  He tells Slater that he will be the first of many victims to fall at the feet of Alicia and they will all worship her, thanks to the power of Talos.  Cut back to the screen where Alicia is laughing and tells Slater that next week he will come face to face with a God among men.

WEEK 2 – MAIN EVENT.

Another Talos hype video is played during the show.

WEEK 3 – MONDAY NIGHT RAW.

All throughout RAW Slater is seen backstage looking worried, always looking over his shoulder for a sneak attack by Talos.  At one point he meets Zack Ryder who says he's got his back if anything happens later.

Later in the show Slater is nervously in the ring, waiting for a match against Kofi Kingston.  Kingston never appears.  Instead Alicia walks out onto the stage and cuts a promo on Slater and all the fans who will become her followers, one way or another.  When they refuse to worship her, she turns to the back.  This signals the arrival of Talos.

He destroys Slater with a few power moves and finishes him off with the Hammer of the Gods.   Alicia orders Talos to get Slater to bow at her feet.  He does as ordered and then Alicia orders him to continue the beat down of Slater.  Talos hits him with a chokeslam, but Zack Ryder makes the save and is able to pull Slater to safety before Talos completely destroys him.  Alicia shakes her head at Ryder and poses in the ring with Talos as the crowd boo.

WEEK 3 – SMACKDOWN

Commentators report that Slater was injured by Talos on RAW and show a reply of Talos making his debut and Ryder getting involved.  Alicia cuts a promo from backstage with Talos looking menacing next to her.  She talks about Slater being the first to bow at her feet thanks to the power of Talos.  Lots of gloating about what happened to Slater and then a promise that on RAW, the same fate will befall Zack Ryder, unless he bows down and worships Alicia.

WEEK 4 – RAW.

Zack Ryder is about to start a match with The Miz when Talos and Alicia make their entrance to the arena.  The Miz quickly bails as Talos stalks Ryder in the ring.  Alicia cuts a promo on him, ordering him to get down on the mat and worship her.  Ryder refuses and is destroyed by Talos and hit with his finisher.  Heath Slater tries to make the save, but he's still injured from last week and is easily taken out by Talos.  With both Slater and Ryder down and out, Alicia announces that they will face Talos in a handicap match at the PPV next week.

WEEK 4 – SMACKDOWN.

Replay video with events from RAW are shown.  Another promotional video of Talos in action is shown, this time narrated by Alicia with references to the match at the PPV.  The video ends with Talos kneeling in front of Alicia with his head bowed in worship.

PPV – HANDICAP MATCH:  HEATH SLATER AND ZACK RYDER VS. TALOS.

A short, five minute squash match.  Talos dominates both Ryder and Slater with power moves.  They get a few hope spots but are quickly cut off.  The finish is Talos hitting both men at the same time with his Hammer of the Gods finisher and pinning them both at the same time.  Alicia celebrates with her new charge as Ryder and Slater are laid out at their feet.  A new force has arrived in WWE and he will do whatever his Goddess tells him.

So that's basically my idea/plan.  I came up with this pretty quick and seeing as this is the first time doing the game, I didn't make it too complex or whatever.  Anyway, that's my first attempt.  So stop talking and get booking folks!

As I said earlier, you can push the envelope somewhat, but pushing it too much will draw complaints from sponsors. Use caution and common sense.

He has dark colored shoulder-length hair and a thin beard. No visible tattoos or piercings. Has a strong jawline and deep set eyes. He isn't exactly cut in terms of muscle mass, but certainly isn't flabby or weak. Comparable somewhat to Erick Rowan in this department.

As far as his wrestling goes, He does the standard big man moves fairly well. His punches and kicks look believable without being overly stiff. He's virtually worthless at this stage of his career as a technical wrestler. Moves around the ring somewhat slowly, lumbers at times. He doesn't sell particularly well, but since he's going to be booked as a monster, this isn't a concern.

Week 1:

Raw -

Zach Ryder loses a quick squash match against Rusev.  He struggles to his feet, to complete apathy from the crowd.  He flips the crowd off before leaving the ring.

Main Event -

Ryder cuts a quick promo before his match, apologizing for his actions on Raw.  He is crushed by an upper mid card face (Sheamus, Ambrose, etc).  After the match, Ryder sells frustration at himself and the crowd.  He storms off.

SmackDown -

Ryder is beaten soundly, though not squshed, by Kofi Kingston.  Afterwards,, Zach is selling frustration again, and Kofi tries to cheer him up.  The two shake hands and walk off together.

Later in the night, the two are talking in the back.  Kofi offers to team with Ryder, saying that he knows that he has talent, he just needs to get his head back into the game.  Zach says "I already have a new partner", and points behind Kofi, who turns around into a giant fist.

Xavier Knight walks into the shot, a mountain of a man.  He is wearing black tights and a black spandex tank top with burnt orange highlights.  He is wearing a solid black Guy Fawkes mask.

Week 2:

Raw -

Zach Ryder, accompanied by Xavier Knight.  Zach is wearing plain black trunks, and has cut his hair short.  He cuts a promo, saying that he knows that in order to be taken seriously, in order to have a chance against the larger than life superstars, he needed a larger than life superstar himself.  After a long, exhausting search, he found him.  Xavier Knight.

Main Event -

Kofi Kingston is having a match against Big E.  Ryder's theme music starts, before suddenly stopping and being replaced with an edgy, hard rock theme.  Ryder and Knight walk to the ring, and Zach orders Xavier to the ring.  Xavier enters, and Kofi and E try to double team him.  Knight throws E up and over the top rope to the floor.  He turns to Kofi, and blasts him with a right hand.  He uses his power and size to put a beating on Kofi, before powerbombing him from the ring, over the top rope, onto Big E at ringside.

SmackDown -
Zach and Knight come to the ring for another promo, but Kofi/Big E attack at the top of the ramp.  Despite having the element of surprise, Knight makes quick work of Kofi, throwing him off the stage, before powerbombing Big E off the stage, onto him.

Week 3:

Raw -

Knight Ryder come out for their first official match against Kofi/Big E.  Ryder never gets tagged into the match, as Knight destroys Big E before dragging him over to force tag Kofi into the match.  He beats Kofi down with power offense, before finishing him with a powerbomb.  He powerbombs E onto Kofi, before pinning both at the same time.  Post Match, Ryder declares them the most dominate tag team of all time.

Main Event -

Rehash of Raw's events, with a short pretaped promo by Ryder.  He wants to be added to the multi-team Tag Team Title match at the PPV.

SmackDown -

Kofi/Truth vs Knight in a handicap match.  Big E/Kofi try to double team Knight, but they are no match for his sheer size and power.  A Kofi powerbomb onto Big E later, he pins both men.  Ryder re-iterates his challenge.

Week 4:

Raw -

Ryder challenges any tag team in the back.  Both Los Matadores and Kofi/Big E respond, so we have a Triple Threat Tag Match.  Again, Ryder is never tagged in, and Knight easily handles each of the men, one at a time, before finally powerbombing each of them on top of each other, and pinning all 4 men at once.

Main Event -

It's announced that Knight Ryder will be added to the tag title match.

SmackDown -

Ryder is cutting a promo, when both Los Matadores and Kofi/E attack.  Knight makes short work of the four men, as Goldust and Stardust look on with concern from the ramp.

PPV -

Knight dominates the match, and powerbombs a stack of 6 men.  He gorilla presses Zach to the top of the pile, to make the pin, and we have new Tag Team Champions.  The scene settles on Zach sitting on the pile of bodies, with Knight standing in front of him, both with their gold in the air.

Week 1:

Raw:

The Miz and Damien Mizdow come to the ring. Miz is clearly frustrated not only by his lack of success in the ring as of late, but also with Damien's popularity with the crowd. Mizdow is enjoying the cheers from the audience, but Miz is irate. He swings Damien around as goes face to face with him, telling him that he is no longer needed as Miz's stunt double... he has other protection. As he is speaking, Mizdow is faced away from the stage, and a giant of a man makes his way to the ring. Mizdow turns around as the giant gets into the ring, just in time to be drilled with a giant right hand. The big man throws Mizdow into the corner, repeatedly hitting him with punches, until Miz tells him to stop. The giant grabs Mizdow and hands him over to Miz, who hits him with a Skull Crushing Finale before he and the giant leave the ring.

Main Event:

Miz and the giant man come to the ring, where he cuts a promo about how Mizdow was holding him back from being the superstar he truly is, and how he was stealing Miz's spotlight. He then speaks about the giant man who helped him take out Mizdow on Raw, and stands by his side... his new bodyguard, Ares Konstantinos. Miz talks about how, with Ares at his side, he'll get back to the Main Event of Wrestlemania, a place where a star of his caliber belongs.

Miz's opponent, Sin Cara, comes to the ring. Sin Cara seems to have the match in hand, until Ares nails him with a right hand when the ref's back is turned, and Miz takes advantage to get the win.

Smackdown:

Miz again brags about his starpower, and how with Ares with him he won't be stopped. As he is speaking, Kofi Kingston's music hits, angering Miz that he didn't get to finish speaking. Kofi quickly gets to the ring, and tries to confront Miz, but Ares cuts him off and begins a beatdown of Kofi. When Ares has significantly softened up Kofi, he feeds him to Miz, for a Skull Crushing Finale, leaving Kofi lying in the ring as the two men walk off.

Week 2:

Raw:

Miz is booked in a match with Kofi. They are having a solid back and forth contest when the ref is knocked down. Ares enters the ring, ready to help Miz take out Kofi, when Damien Sandow rushes to the ring, attacking Miz and Ares. Sandow and Ares square off outside of the ring, while Kofi gets a quick advantage in the ring and gets the 1-2-3 on Miz. Miz is stunned, and his new bodyguard makes his way back into the ring as Kofi and Sandow leave the ringside area.

Main Event:

Miz is irate with what happened on Raw, telling Kofi and Sandow that he and Ares will make them pay for what they did. He tells the two of them to watch what happens to his opponent tonight because that's what will happen to them.

Heath Slater makes his way to the ring, and is about to square off with Miz when Ares grabs him , kicks him in the midsection, and delivers a huge powerbomb to Slater before the bell rings to start the match. Miz then insists that the match begins, which he wins immediately with a pinfall.

Smackdown:

Kofi and Sandow are talking backstage when Miz and Ares attack, both with chairs in hand. Miz goes after Kofi, while Area beats down Sandow. They continue to decimate the two men until WWE officials come to the aid of Kofi and Sandow by stopping the attack.

Week 3:

Raw:

Miz gloats about the beatdown he and Ares gave Kofi and Sandow on Smackdown. He goes on to talk about how he's the biggest star in the company and how he'll be in the Main Event of Wrestlemania when Sandow cuts him off. Damien stands on the stage and talks about how he and Kofi are going to take the two men in the ring out, and that at the Pay Per View Miz will have to deal with Kofi, and Sandow is going to beat down Ares. Miz laughs him off, and tells him careful what you wish for and watch what Ares does tonight to his opponent.

Ares has his first match, facing off with Zach Ryder. Zach gets a few moves in at the first 30 seconds, but this is a squash. Ares wins the match in less than 2 minutes with his big powerbomb.

Main Event:

It's announced that Kofi and Sandow will team up to take on Miz and Ares on Raw before their Pay Per View singles matches.

Smackdown:

Miz once again tells Sandow be careful what you wish for, and to watch again tonight as Ares destroys another opponent like he'll destroy Sandow.

Ares has a match with Xavier Woods, who gets no offense in another squash, this one around a minute long. Miz enters the ring at the end, and the two men continue to beat down Xavier until Sandow and Kofi come in for the save. Miz and Ares leave the ring without fighting Kofi and Sandow, and leave the ringside area while their two opponents help Xavier out.

Week 4:

Raw:

Miz is very confident, talking about how not only will he easily defeat Kofi at the Pay Per View, but Sandow will have his career ended by Ares. Miz hands Ares the mic, and in a greek accent he says "I will hurt you" and drops it.

Kofi and Sandow come to the ring, and the match begins. It's a fairly even contest, going back and forth, until the ref gets knocked down. Miz and Sandow are the legal men, and Ares enters to help Miz, who's about to be put down. Kofi also enters the ring, and Ares cleans house on the two of them, hitting both with his powerbomb. He tosses Kofi out of the ring and puts Miz on top of Sandow, just in time for the ref to wake up and make the 3 count.

Main Event:

Sandow comes to the ring, irate from the night before, and challenges Ares to make their match at the Pay Per View a Tables match.

Smackdown:

Miz and Ares enter the ring, and Miz tells the world that Ares accepts the challenge from Sandow. He asks Ares what he's going to do to him at the Pay Per View, and Ares says "End him"... Miz then tells Sandow that Ares will give him a preview of what's coming at the Pay Per View,

Los Matadores come to the ring for a handicap match with Ares. He squashed both me easily, stacking them up with his powerbomb on top of each other, before a quick pinfall win.

Pay Per View:

Sandow gets a little offense in here and there, but Ares dominated the match. It lasts for approximately 8 minutes, but could have been over much sooner as Ares decides to inflict more damage to Sandow. He finally sets up a table right in the middle of the ring and delivers his big powerbomb, driving Sandow right through the table for the win. Sandow has to be helped out on a stretcher and Ares looks on.

Ares comes out with Miz for his match with Kofi. It's a pretty even match, but Miz gets the win by grabbing the tights. Kofi is upset and goes after Miz, but Ares cuts him off, delivering a brutal beatdown of Kofi. Ares takes Kofi out to ringside, where he does his powerbomb on Kofi through the Spanish Announcer's table, leaving him knocked out and bleeding from his head. He is also helped out on a stretcher, but Ares stops them just before going back stage. He grabs Kofi, sets him up again, and hits another powerbomb, this time on the stage. As he stands over Kofi's lifeless body, Sandow comes out to help, but gets beaten down by Ares. At the end, Ares grabs Sandow and drills him with a powerbomb off of the stage, leaving Sandow knocked out on the concrete, where he once again gets medical attention.

These are some great booking plans so far guys, keep up the good work!

A few things to remind you about, guys. You gotta follow the guidelines that Hayes or whoever else gives you. For example, in this particular scenario, Vince doesn't want anyone to change alignments. So there shouldn't have been any heel or face turns in this particular instance. I mean, it's ok this time since this is a pre-season beta test. But in the future, just follow Hayes' guidelines. In the future, we wouldn't have put your scenario up for vote.

Oh my goodness Paul! Look! A new creative team! Aww, look how adorable they are!

Yeah. They always look cute when they're naive and full of big ideas to change the world.

Whaddya say, let's wreck all their plans and bend their will to meet our political agendas, for old times sake? Remember how badly we broke Freddie Prinze Jr? We had him so wrecked that he was practically begging to make crappy live action Scooby Doo sequels!

Nah. Let the little peons have this one. I'm sure we'll be around to throw monkey wrenches into the works plenty of times in the not-too-distant future. Let them feel important this once. Because real soon, they're gonna realize just how rough we can make it on them. Like how we can convince The Old Man to change his mind about things he was dead-set on just minutes before. Or mysteriously make sports entertainers "unavailable" at the last minute. Let this be the calm before the shovel... er, I mean storm.

Quickly knocked up in work;

Name: Estacado
Gimmick: Mafia-esque family muscle who did hard time. Now no longer associated with said family, but still uses their intimidation tactics and calling cards - Venetian masks and white orchids. (Yes, Vince, I know he's Greek not Italian, but Yokozuna wasn't Japanese, was he?)
Gear - Blue jeans, white shirt, leather jacket, gold jewellry. Italian greaser meets street thug.
Finish: E-Bomb (Powerbomb he's so proud of)

RAW week 1
Vignette airs, starting with godfather-esque music, scenes of beautiful italy, transitioning into grim scenes of prison, complete with darker, harsher music. Flashing images of jail cells, nooses, cut to black, fade in of a single orchid and "Estacado is coming..."

Smackdown Week 1
A New Day (Big-E, Kofi, Xavier) celebrate their debut win as a group over Job Squad 3000 (Lets say it was... Los Matadores and Heath Slater), celebrations cut short by same vignette. All three look confused, announcer sells oddness.

RAW Week 2
Repeat win for A New Day, during their celebration an italian looking courier hustles down into the ring and hands the three guys a white orchid each. More confusion amongst the three of them. Announcers sell possible links to funeral flowers, calling cards etc.

Main Event Week 2
Big-E wins a squash over Heath Slater, 'tron shows backstage of Kofi and Woods laid out. Both are lying in death repose (arms across chest) and has had a venetian funeral mask placed on their head. Announcers sell concern and confusion.

Smackdown Week 2.
Same vignette plays from Raw Week 1 earlier in the show. Later there's a recap of current events, talking head segment from Woods "we ain't playing around anymore, This monday on RAW we're getting to the bottom of this!" type of shtick. He can talk well enough Vince, just let him roll with it.

RAW Week 3.
A New Day are in the ring, they want answers. No more mind games. Out comes Estacado, announcers sell "HOLY CRAP HE'S HUGE!". Enters ring, New Day look concerned. One punch on Woods, he's out the ring. Kofi and Big-E charge, Kofi eats a back elbow. Big-E manages to shove im into the corner and gets a big knee in the gut for his trouble. As he sells, Estacado gives him the big powerbomb. Announcers go nuts "BIG-E IS OVER THRE EHUNDRED POUNDS AND HE JUST POWERBOMBED HIM LIKE A CRUISERWEIGHT". Estacado pulls out another venetian mask, arranges Big-E as if laid out for a funeral, then leaves the ring.

Smackdown Week 3.
Announcer replay and Big-E preacher type talking head segment, essentially yelling "COME AT ME, BRO!".

RAW Week 4.
A New Day vs. Miz & Tag Champs. End of the match - Big-E tags in, starts cleaning house, looks like a win for A New Day is on the cards. Estacado comes out, Announcers go batshit. As he approaches the ring, Kofi comes off the top rope and is punched out of the air - goes down like a sack of shit. Woods charges and gets thrown into the ring steps, the big booted over them. Heels scramble as Estacado gets in the ring, Big-E with some punches and a kick, Estacado sells minimally, then no sells a spear attempt and hits the powerbomb again.

Smackdown Week 4.
Replays and announcement of PPV match, highlighting the one punch knock out spot and the fact Big-E couldn't even move Estacado, let alone knock him off his feet.

PPV Match
A New Day vs. Estacado - Early domination by Estacado, lots of big boots, clotheslines, headbutts, powerslams. A New Day get some offence in - mainly triple team high spots (Kofi hits a crossbody from the top, is caught, Xavier woods dropkicks Kofi, estacado stumbles back and trips over Big-E). Big- E hit his spear through the ropes, taking Estacado outside. Kofi over the top, caught, killed to fuck with snake eyes on the steps. Woods dives off the apron, killed to fuck with spinebuster to the floor. Big-E puts up a fight inside for about 20 seconds before being killed to fuck with the big boot and powerbomb.

New Name - Tarterus
Finishing Move - The Depths (Jacknife Powerbomb)

WEEK 1

Monday Night RAW - After a commercial break, William Regal's music plays and the announce team is surprised because he is supposed to be scouting talent for NXT. Regal gets on the mic and talks about just that, then explains that he found the holy grail on his scouting trip. He found something that the WWE Universe needed to see. The lights then dim and a video begins, first we see two large black wrestling boots. The camera moves up, slowly revealing a massive man, until it stops on his black eyes. Behind him there is a stack of unconcious men. One rolls off the pile, and the giant spins around, lifts him, and then plants him down with a jacknife powerbomb.

Smackdown - A replay of Regal's announcement, and then the video plays over again.

WEEK 2

Monday Night RAW - William Regal again comes out after a commercial break, surprising the announcers once more. He talks about the first time he saw the man they caught a glimpse of last week. No doubt they were in awe, the hairs stood up on the back of their necks and they got a little tingle just from that, but wait until next week when he is here in the middle of the ring. The video from last week plays again, only this time the giant laughs after the powerbomb and TARTERUS is showed across the screen.

Smackdown - The new video complete with name is replayed.

WEEK 3

Monday Night RAW - William Regal comes out to start off RAW and introduces everyone to the most promising, intimidating and destructive wrestler he has ever seen in over 30 years in the business... TARTERUS. The lights dim and the titan tron lights up with the image of a giant mountain. In rises over the mountain to show a volcano and then plunges into the depths. Pyro shoots up on the top of the stage and when it stops, there is a giant of a man in long black tights with several blood red skulls running down the side. He stalks down to the ring and steps over the top rope. Regal shakes his hand and then issues an open challenge to anyone in the back. Heath Slater's music hits and he comes charging out, only to be dropped by a massive boot as soon as he steps into the ring. Tarterus lifts him up and plants him with The Depths (Jacknife Powerbomb). Regal nods his approval and they leave.

Main Event - Regal and Tarterus come out and issue another open challenge. Heath Slater comes out and says that last week that big oaf used a cheap shot and didn't actually beat him. Slater comes down to the ring and this time the bell actually rings. Tarterus drops him with a shoulder tackle, then hits a big scoop slam, drops the leg, and covers for a 2 count. Slater stumbles up, gets dropped with the massive boot, and then grabbed up by his hair, allowing Tarterus to plant him with The Depths, and get the win.

Smackdown - Another open challenge, this one answered by R-Truth. This match goes exactly the same as the match against Slater, with Tarterus hitting a few power moves, planting Truth with The Depths, and getting the pin.

WEEK 4

Monday Night RAW - This week's open challenge is answered by Diego of Los Matadores. Tarterus takes a little bit longer in this match, showing off a few more moves, adding in a vicious spinebuster and a devestating backbreaker before he hits The Depths, and gets the win.

Main Event - Fernado comes out and actually challenges Tarterus this time, looking to get a little payback for his brother. Unfortunately for him, he receives the same brutal treatment, and Tarterus picks up another win. After the match, Tarterus looks to plant Fernado with The Depths again, and Diego runs down, only to catch a boot to the face. El Torito tries to help and dives off the top rope, but Tarterus catches him and drives him down with The Depths. Tarterus exits the ring, but then goes back and delivers another powerbomb to El Torito.

Smackdown - Los Matadores come out and tell everyone that Torito is going to be out for quite awhile after the actions of Tarterus. Regal and Tarterus comes out and Regal rubs in the injury, telling them that they only have themselves to blame. If they would have kept their pet under control, Tarterus wouldn't have had to do what he does best. Los Matadores are upset and challenge Tarterus to a match at the PPV. Regal gladly accepts and hopes that there are two more hospital beds wherever Torito is.

PPV - Los Matadores use some good tag team moves and get Tartus to stumble a little, but can't take the big man off his feet. They finally get him to one knee, and charge forward, but then he drops them both with clotheslines. He slams Diego down with a spinebuster, then delivers a backbreaker to Fernado. Diego sumbles up but goes straight back down after a boot to the face. Terterus pulls Fernado up and drives him down with The Depths. He then picks Diego up and drives him down on top of Diego with The Depths, before making the cover.

Everyone in the ring stop for a moment and look up as Paul Heyman makes his way unto the ramp. He stops and gives his cocky smile as he continues. The two men inside the ring begin to wrestling again as Paul Brings the mic back to his lips.

"It doesn't matter if you continue to wrestle or not because everyone here will have their eyes and ears fixated on what I'm about to tell you all. My name is Paul Heyman, and tonight I do not come to you as the advocate for BRRROOOCKKK LESSSNNNNEERRR! No I come to you tonight to tell you that I have found..the Next Big Thing. Yes, fourteen years ago I found Brock and I helped him and I saw that he was the Next Big Thing, and today as your champion he is just that, the Big Thing, there is no Next about it, but let's face facts it's time for to focus on the future, and I searched the globe for the Next Big Thing, and I have indeed found the Next Big Thing, and in two weeks he will arrive here on RAW."

No. The only people you can use are those on some sort of WWE contract. (Roster, staff, Legends, Corporate, etc.)

Name: Daemon
Nickname: "The God Of War"
Gimmick: Monster heel. Very few words, letting his actions do the talking.
Finish: Powerbomb. We can call this the War Machine or something like that, even running them together as the War Machine Powerbomb, but everybody knows what a Powerbomb is and nobody is using it as a finish right now, so let's run with it. Besides, if the guy is as green as you say, do we really want to spend time teaching him a new finish? He's skipping NXT for crying out loud! Botching is a sure fire way to NOT get over, or get over for all the wrong reasons. Keep it simple!

General plan: To start with, we should build him up on his own, rather than pair him with somebody else. What is the point of pairing him with a manager or other wrestler to help him get over, when none of them are over enough themselves to do it? The only people on the roster that are over are Triple H, John Cena and Randy Orton, and if we can't use them then let's use their model. Get the shovel and kiss the undercard goodbye!

Week 1

Raw
Let's get the production crew to earn their keep with a hype video. We need an apocalyptic theme. Lots of destroyed buildings, darkness, smoke and buzzards. You know the type. Throw in a bunch of weapons scattered around: Swords, spears, shields, etc. as well as modern guns. Maybe a couple of flipped over chariots right next to some destroyed tanks. We're talking total cross-generation destruction. We need a deep male voiceover too:

"The earth will quake...
The walls will fall...
Everything will end..."

Cut to black with text on the screen.

"War is coming".

Cut to a silhouette of "The God of War" Daemon.

"Daemon is coming".

The announcers need to react to this. They need to hype Daemon, and acknowledge that they know nothing about him at this stage.

Main Event, Superstars and Smackdown!

The video is replayed each time.

Week 2

Raw

We need another production video. This time, we're going to bring in some local wrestlers, or some NXT talent to bump around for Daemon. We'll sprinkle a bunch of action shots of him tossing guys around into the same apocalyptic theme as last time. There doesn't need to be any voiceover throughout, just the same end...

"War is coming".

Cut to silhouette.

"Daemon is coming".

Following the video, the announcers can begin hyping him again. This time, they can reveal more. They will hype his size, state that he's from Greece and that he's earned the nickname "The God of War". They will also hype how he has no remorse for his actions, and that they cannot begin to speculate as to what we intends to do here in WWE.

Main Event and Superstars

More hyping. Same video.

Smackdown!

Following the video, Michael Cole can announce that Daemon will be arriving on Monday Night RAW!

Week 3

Undercard 6-Man Tag Match:
Zack Ryder and Los Matadores (Fernando and Dieago) w/ El Torito vs. Darren Young and Slater-Gator (Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil) w/ Hornswoggle

The match is going for only a few minutes before the lights cut and a condensed video package debuts. No "War is coming" line, but the silhouette at the end comes into light and reveal Daemon on the TitanTron. His entrance theme, a slow, menacing methodical piece that Jim Johnston puts together for us starts up and a red spotlight highlights Daemon standing on the stage. Black pants, black singlet - similar to Undertaker attire. Short cut hair with a small pointed beard. The spotlight tracks Daemon as he walks to the stage. Michael Cole hypes that the "God of War" is here.

Daemon gets to the ring and the lights return to normal. The others in the ring stand there, unsure what to do. Heath Slater moves first and gets absolutely clobbered. From there, Daemon begins to systematically destroy all 6 men in the ring. El Torito and Hornswoggle climb alternate turnbuckles to take turns at taking Daemon down, but he catches them both and tosses them out of the ring.

This beat down needs to be brutal. That's how we're going to get him over. After he takes down everybody, he keeps dishing out the punishment on them. El Torito goes through the announcer's desk. Darren Young gets annihilated through the ringside barrier. I'm looking to write off Zack Ryder for a while, to reboot him when we're ready to bring him back, so he needs to take the worst punishment of them all. A couple of powerbombs onto the steel steps should do the trick.

With Young, Torito, Hornswoggle and Ryder out cold outside of the ring, Slater-Gator and Los Matadores are out cold in the middle of the ring where Daemon stands tall. He raises his arms, lets out a primal roar, and we cut to a commercial before he leaves.

Main Event
Recap of what Daemon did on Raw. Update on everybody's condition. Of note, Darren Young is out for a few weeks, and Zack Ryder is out for a few months.

Smackdown!
Heath Slater w/ Titus O'Neil vs. Fernando w/ Diego - Double DQ.

A few minutes into a back-and-forth contest, Daemon makes an appearance in the same fashion as on Raw, minus the hype video. Fernando bumps hard for a simple strike, and slides out of the ring. Daemon turns to Slater, but O'Neil pulls Slater clear. All 4 competitors back up the ramp, Diego helping Fernando and Slater holding O'Neil back as he trash talks. Daemon does his primal roar as we cut to commercial.

Week 4

Slater-Gator w/ Hornswoggle vs. Los Matadores w/ El Torito

El Torito has his ribs taped. It looks ridiculous because he's still in costume. All 6 men are in the ring, and Slater takes the lead on the mic, telling the crowd that they won't be competing tonight because they have more pressing concerns. He runs through a few lame insults towards Daemon, calling him ugly, saying he's the God of Bad Breath, etc. O'Neil takes the mic and continues to trash talk.

Daemon makes his entrance. Before he can get to the ring, Los Matadores fly over the top rope towards him. He catches them both and drills them into the ground. Daemon climbs up onto the apron and Slater makes a run at him. He gets caught by the throat and pulled over the rope to the floor. Daemon enters the ring with El Torito, Hornswoggle and Titus O'Neil. El Torito leaps off Titus's shoulders, only to get drilled to the mat. O'Neil charges and suffers the same fate. Both roll out of the ring. Daemon is alone with Hornswoggle. He powerbombs Hornswoggle to high hell. The others are crawling up the ramp.

Main Event

Backstage segment. The 6 men are talking about how they need to be united. Hornswoggle is taped up similar to El Torito.

Smackdown!

Backstage segment. Renee Young is interviewing all 6 men. Slater does most of the talking, saying that they are challenging Daemon to a match at the PPV. If he thinks he's so tough, then why doesn't he take on all 4 of us (referencing himself, Titus O'Neil, Fernando and Diego) at once?

Later on, another backstage segment. Fernando and Diego find El Torito hanging upside down in a room. They make a lot of noise and Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil and Hornswoggle are the first three to arrive. Everybody goes silent when they notice something in the doorway. It's Daemon, and he lets out his now standard primal roar. The segment ends and the announcers interpret it as Daemon accepting the challenge, confirmed with a graphic announcing the match for the PPV.

PPV

"The God Of War" Daemon vs. Fernando, Diego, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil - 4 on 1 Elimination Match

It is announced as an elimination match by Lilian Garcia when introducing the match. Michael Cole tries to make this sound like it'll be harder for Daemon. It isn't. Both El Torito and Hornswoggle are also at ringside, both still selling previous attacks. All four men cycle through tags against Daemon, as they each try some offense only to have no effect. Daemon then pins Heath Slater with ease. Diego and Fernando fall immediately after, pinned simultaneously. Titus O'Neil gets a little more offense in, but Daemon no-sells it and powerbombs the shit out of him and pins him. Hornswoggle and El Torito stay outside of the ring and try to get their people to safety, but Titus O'Neil is still at Daemon's mercy. Powerbomb through the announcer's table. Daemon roars as the match segment ends.

Gimmick
Name: Polyphemus
Hailing From: Sicily

Finisher: The Blinding – Similar to a release powerbomb, but instead of just releasing straight down Kostas will throw him across the ring as far as possible.

Gear: The most important part of Kostas' new gear is the head. His hair must be worn long, straight, and dark black and always be soaking wet before he comes out. He will wear a mask similar to the one that big guy over in our "competition" wears, except it will cover up one of his eyes completely. We will use mesh over the eye so that it doesn't hinder his vision quite as much, but the important thing is that the crowd thinks he has only one eye.

As for the rest of the gear, less is more in this situation. No shirt, no shoes. Skin color trunks will be used, but then have loincloth-esque attachments and an attached brown belt to give it the old-school Greek mythology feel.

Week One
All Shows:
Halfway through the show immediately following a commercial break there will be a video package, classic WWE character-introduction reel that will be sold by the commentators afterwards.

Slam into shot of waves crashing into a rocky cliff. Splice this shot with short, interjecting close ups of different body parts of Kostas. After a few seconds of this, a large ship can be seen in the distance of the waves and a terrifying scream echoes from a cave. One last splice, this time a close up of his face in mask, blinks once with his "good eye" and then blows hair out of his face. Cut back to the boat scene, Kostas in Polyphemus gear charges out a cave with a boulder over his head and chucks it in similar fashion to The Blinding. It hits the ship and sinks it. Final clip is of Polyphemus standing in gear on the rocky cliff, fists clenched and then he tilts back and offers another roar.

Week Two
RAW:
Cameras open up in the parking lot where an interviewer has been told to standby, but hasn't been told why. Suddenly a WWE semi pulls into the lot and as the engine is killed, the camera picks up louds sounds as if something is smashing against the inside steel wall of the truck. The driver hops out and looks terrified as he walks around to the back. He unlocks the truck and then runs away, leaving the interviewer confused and a little frightened. We need to rig the back of the truck somehow so that when Polyphemus punches it, the doors blow off. Once the doors blow off, we'll have a smoke machine in the back so that the scene gets a little foggy and then we need to have Kostas hop out of the back growling. Takes one look at the camera and the petrified interviewer before tilting his head back and letting out another one of those roars. Commentators sell the situation afterwards.

Other Shows:
Play replays of the situation in the parking lot, with commentators announcing that his name is Polyphemus and is apparently the son of Poseidon. They don't know what he's doing here or why.

Week Three
RAW:
Match 3: Winner faces Big E Langston for #1 Contendership to United States Championship at PPV | Over the top Rope Battle Royal
Darren Young vs. Diego vs. Fernando vs. Heath Slater vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Kofi Kingston vs. R-Truth vs. Sin Cara vs. Titus O'Neal vs. Xavier Woods vs. Zack Ryder vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Hunico vs. Fandango vs. David Otunga vs. Curtis Axel vs. Bad News Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Damien Mizdow

The match begins, commentators make mention that it is strange there are only 19 competitors in the match. A couple people get eliminated, and then the lights begin to flicker.  Static comes over the PA System until suddenly 'Cyclops' by Marilyn Manson erupts over the airwaves. (I know Vince, licensing a real song, but it's worth it. People hate Manson.) After a few seconds of confusion, Polyphemus emerges from the back growling with his whole body, fists clenched. He slowly makes his way down the ramp, as a few of the heels continue working over faces. Reaches up to the grab the top rope and pulls himself up, many people charge at him before he can get in, but he shoves them all off with one hand and climbs over the top rope.

He starts throwing punches and elbows at everybody, face or heel. We won't make him do too much; just strikes mostly will cover up his lack of training. After a few big strikes, start picking up little guys and chucking them over the top rope in gorilla press fashion. The Miz and some of the other big heels have probably just elected to bail at this point. It eventually comes down to Polyphemus and Titus O'Neal, the biggest guy in the match. Titus stands up to him, but he looks a little worried. He starts charging ropes and trying to shoulder tackle, but Polyphemus doesn't move. Last charge, Poly raises a knee causing Titus to double over. Set him up for the Blinding. Many of the other faces are still at the bottom of the ramp climbing to their feet, Polyphemus chucks O'Neal over with The Blinding onto all of the other faces, making his presence felt.

Other Shows:
Play replays of the action from RAW, especially the power of throwing Titus over.

Week 4
RAW:
Big E. Langston is walking through the hallways; someone catches him for an interview asking for his thoughts on Polyphemus and what happened last week. Big E. shows a hint of fear, but acts tough and then keeps walking.

Match 5: Big E. Langston vs. Bad News Barrett
Big E. and Barrett have a solid match, let it go for 5 minutes and then fog starts to set in on the stage and ramp area. The lights begin to flicker again and static comes over the sound system. Big E. drops the straps on his singlet and motions at the ramp to "come on." 'Cyclops' by Marilyn Manson begins to play again and as Polyphemus takes his first step out of the back, Barrett rolls up Langston for the pinfall victory and bails. Langston is furious, but Polyphemus isn't backing down. Big E. rushes toward the ramp and slides under the bottom rope, charging at Polyphemus and striking at him. Polyphemus takes a few unprotected shots but then delivers one stiff punch to the jaw rocking Langston. He then raises a knee, doubling him over, and then hoisting him up overhead for The Blinding, tossing him onto the ramp with ease and a sickening thud before fading to commercial.

Other Shows:
Show replays of the Langston match

Smackdown:
After they show the replay, cameras open in the back with a smiling interviewer. Big E. is sitting down with an injured look on his face, rubbing his neck. Interview about what happened on RAW, Big E. is pissed and says he won't back down at the PPV, he's coming for the title.

Pay Per View:
Match 2: #1 Contendership for the United States Championship
Big E. Langston comes out first, gets hyped up in the ring. Same stuff happens for Polyphemus with the flickering, fog, static, Manson etc. except he gets his first official introduction. "Making his way to the ring next, hailing all the way from Sicily, standing 7 foot 4 inches tall and weighing in at over 400 pounds, he is the son of Poseidon, POLYPHEMUS!"

Langston starts out the match strong, Polyphemus goes to a knee, but then quickly the tables turn. Polyphemus beats him up with heavy strikes and the like, and then hoists him up for The Blinding tossing him corner to corner. Instead of pinning him he continues to beat him up, strike after strike to an unresponsive Langston until eventually the referee has to call a TKO victory and tries to pull him off. It ends up taking a gang of referees and security to eventually pull Polyphemus off and the match goes to commercial on his growling face just before delivering another powerful roar.

Gimmick:

Name: Apollyon (or "The Destroyer")

Gimmick: Shrouded in mystery, the only thing known about Apollyon is his desire for chaos and destruction. The scariest thing about Apollyon is that (at least initially) he comes with no real motive other than to destroy (hence "The Destroyer").

Finish: Apollyon lifts his victim by the neck a la the chokeslam, but also brings the victim down across his knee in a backbreaker position. This move goes by the name "chokebreaker" on the Internet, but the WWE Universe will come to know this by "The Fall of Man."

Gear: In ring, black and silver trunks with "APOLLYON" across the back and black and silver boots. Out of ring, he wears a menancing silver mask in this style...

Week 1:

RAW

After a fairly typical filler match between Los Matadores and some random tag team (which likely boils down to El Torito and Hornswoggle having fisticuffs...MAGGLE), we cut to a dark and gritty vignette of an abandoned city left in ruins. Things we put over here are concepts of destruction, chaos, that whole bit...eventually we come to the giant titan of a man that is Apollyon, who we get around the accent struggles by having him speak just a few, powerful words:

"I am destruction. I am chaos. I am...Apollyon."

The video ends and we see a visibly confused commentary team, trying to make sense of what they just saw (but showing signs of fear, as well).

Main Event

Replay of the video, and the Main Event commentary showing signs of concern for whoever might stand in Apollyon's way.

Smackdown

A match between Heath Slater and R-Truth gets interrupted by the same video as RAW, except with a promise at the end that "the Fall of Man is coming," giving the impression that Slater and Truth have been put on notice.

Week 2:

RAW

A new video plays, this time hyping the Greek heritage of the man we now know as Apollyon. More recognizable imagery this time around, including the Pantheon, and we end with Apollyon once again promising that "the Fall of Man is coming" and the words "NEXT WEEK" appearing on screen. The goal is to really give a sense of urgency that Apollyon could be a real threat when he appears.

The segment immediately following this is Slater, walking down the hall toward his upcoming match, but with a look of fear and dread on his face as he does so. Later that night, we see a similar situation with other midcarders, all appearing to recognize what's about to happen come RAW next week.

Main Event

Replay of the video from RAW, as well as the concern from those appearing to already fear Apollyon's debut. Big emphasis here on the idea that no one quite knows what to expect.

Smackdown

We get a segment where Slater, Truth, and other midcarders are seen talking about Apollyon with that look of dread we saw on RAW when who should speak up but resident midcard hero Zack Ryder, no doubt doing his best John Cena impression:

"Listen up, broskis! We can't let this Apollyon guy drag us down. We have to stand up against him together!"

It's a weird situation when Zack Ryder is the one rallying the troops, but at least it helps put over the threat that Apollyon will be when he arrives next Monday.

Week 3:

RAW

The midcarders are all basically looking over their shoulders the whole night, and the matches they're in reflect the fear they're facing. It is during Los Matadores vs R-Truth and Heath Slater that Apollyon appears: the lights cut out, we cut to last week's vignette on the screen, but at the end Apollyon declares "I am destruction. I am chaos. I am Apollyon...and I am here." The lights come back on and Apollyon is in the ring, absolutely DESTROYING the men in the ring right now. He sends the bullfighters out of the ring right away, sends Slater down hard with a big boot, and decimates R-Truth with the chokebreaker. Ryder and others come out to the stage, but all are much too terrified to face Apollyon as we cut to commercial.

After the commercial we find out that during the break (which you can see by using the WWE App!) R-Truth was carried out on a stretcher, and he will be out indefinitely. The commentary recognizes that Apollyon promised "the Fall of Man is coming," and that is perhaps what he meant.

Main Event

Recap of what happened on RAW, as well as the aftermath of R-Truth being out indefinitely. Apollyon is immediately regarded as someone who could in fact end careers on his path of destruction.

Smackdown

Zack Ryder faces Titus O'Neil in a match that is interrupted midway by the same video as RAW, the lights cutting out and then Apollyon appearing in the ring. He throws Titus out of the ring and makes a beeline for Ryder, who narrowly escapes. As Ryder makes his way up the ramp, Apollyon is seen laughing and calling Ryder a coward.

Week 4:

RAW

We get a completely new vignette this time, highlighting the destruction Apollyon has caused upon his arrival in the WWE. We end with the scene from Smackdown in which Apollyon claims Zack Ryder is a coward. Later that night, Renee Young tries to get a response from Ryder, who just shakes his head and walks away.

Main Event

Recap of RAW's events, and questions arising about Zack Ryder during a rematch he has against Titus O'Neil which goes off without a hitch.

Smackdown

Zack Ryder is once again approached by Renee Young, and he finally speaks up about Apollyon:

"Look, when we first saw these videos I thought he was just some schmuck trying to hype himself up. And then I saw him destroy R-Truth, and I realized exactly what he is...a monster. You know me, Renee, I don't do well with monsters. But I have to do what's right by R-Truth, and by the other guys in the back. I've asked my friends to stand by me and fight this monster, but I don't know who will answer the call. If I have to face him on my own, so be it."

Later that night we get a repeat of the RAW vignette, only this time it ends by hyping the upcoming PPV as when Apollyon will seek out the "coward Zack Ryder" and destroy him. Shortly after, the commentary reveals that it will indeed be Ryder vs Apollyon at the PPV (which you can get on the WWE Network for just 9.99!)

PPV

Small video package recapping the arrival of Apollyon, Ryder attempting to rally the troops, and the destruction Apollyon promises to bring to the WWE. Ryder comes out first, with Heath Slater and Los Matadores being in his corner against the destructive force known as Apollyon. The match that follows is short, and more than a little one-sided: Ryder puts up some semblance of a fight, but he is overwhelmed from the start by Apollyon. Ryder's midcard buddies cannot stop the inevitable: a Fall of Man chokebreaker, a boot on the chest, and the three count. The best they can do is to be the ones to get Ryder out of the ring and up the ramp before Apollyon can do any more damage.

Post-PPV RAW: We find out that Zack Ryder is out indefinitely, and the WWE Universe is left to wonder who can stop the Fall of Man.

Alroight, so first things first, the repackage job (because we have to have a trademarkable name). So we shall plunder the realms of greek mythology to bring forth Ajax after one of the lesser known, but still badass, characters from the Trojan War/The Illiad. It's a name that sounds badass and can be easily broken up into an audience chant.

Ajax's gimmick will be that he is the descendant/reincarnation of every greek hero of legend – from the great king Iskandar (AKA Alexander the Great) to Heracles to Achilles and everyone else in between. He has come to the WWE to recreate their achievements – which includes conquering the world (heavyweight championship).

For the Finisher, since he already uses the Powerbomb we might as well stick with it for now – no sense in forcing him to use something new that he might botch. We'll go with The Wrath of Olympus as a name.

Ok, so to the angle...

Week 1:
RAW – Video package showing still images from greek mythology – Hercules slaying the Hydra, Perseus decapitating Medusa, Theseus killing the Minotaur, accompanied by a voice over.

"In ancient Greece there were many great heroes, men, blessed by the gods, who slew the mightiest of foes. Their Legacy lives on still..."

Cut to a massive man, dressed kinda like a '300 Spartan' only less homoerotic (Helmet and a badass white cloak/cape') who glares into the camera. The words 'Prepare for the Wrath of Olympus' write themselves across the screen, followed by the words 'Ajax is coming...'

Main Event/Smackdown – video repeated

Week 2:
RAW – Video package – similar style as last week, but now showing important figures and moments of greek history – the battle of Thermopylae, the Siege of Troy, Alexander the Great's conquering of the Persian Empire

Voice Over - 'The ancient Greeks once conquered the known world. The martial might was known and feared by all. Now one man shall eceed those acheivements'

Again show the man, now identified as Ajax in pseudo-spartan get up, this time as he roars to the heavens. The words 'The Wrath of Olympus descends next week' write themselves across the screen, again, followed by 'Ajax is coming...'

Main Event/Smackdown – video repeated again

Week 3:
RAW –Los Matadores (w/ Torito) vs Miz & Sandow. Matadores are in the ring along with El Torito. Miz's theme hits and he comes out alone. Announces that, instead of his usual partner he's done some research and he's found a distant member of Toriro's family tree and he's gonna reunite them tonight...

This hits (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMvmeUSVWn8) and out comes Sandow dressed as Mantaur... or 'Damien Miz-Taur' as he's introduced. Usual bullshit with the commentary team acting like this is hilarious. Miz-taur gets in the ring, still in mask ready to start against Diego. Ref starts to call for the bell, but before it rings ominous Skyrim-like music hits and Ajax walks out from the back, still wearing the cape/helmet setup from the vignettes. Nobody in the ring knows how to react as he enters the ring over the top rope. Miz moves over to ask who he is and what he's doing, only to get pie faced and shoved to the ground by this colossus who then charges Miz-taur! The Matadors bail as Ajax nails Miz-Taur with a couple of power moves before setting him up and destroying him with a powerbomb. As the Matadors back up the ramp Ajax grabs the Mantaur mask and stamps on it before pointing up the ramp at the retreating Trio as the commentators speculate why

Smackdown – Replay of the footage from RAW occurs before a Fernando/Sandow match. Match has barely started when Ajax's music hits and the big man comes out again. Announcers speculate why he's there as Sandow tries to beg off, only for Ajax to ignore him and lay out Fernando. Sandow bails as Diego enters to help his buddy, only to get knocked down as well. Ajax starts to make like he's heading outside after Torito but Fenrando gets up and nails him across the back to little effect. Ajax nails a massive powerbomb on Fenrando as Torito gets the hell out of there as fast as his little legs can carry him. Ajax starts to head after him as Diego checks on the laid out Fernando

Week 4:
RAW – Los Matadores are in the ring, ready to call out Ajax for what he did on Smackdown. They are interrupted by a video package, showing Ajax backstage. He states that last week he 'slew the Minotaur in the name of Theseus' and that all that's left for him is to 'slay  its spawn'. He challenges the Matadores & Torito to a 3 on 1 handicap match at the PPV and promises they will all feel the Wrath of Olympus

Smackdown – Recap video of RAW

PPV:
Los Matadores & El Torito vs Ajax – Los Matadores attack before the bell, but despite their speed and double team attempts, they don't seem to phase Ajax in the slightest and can't take him off his feet. Torito hides on the apron, seemingly intimidated. After a brief flurry of this, Ajax goes on the offence lands some big rights and clotheslines maybe a power move or two that the matadors sell like death. He goes to hit one of them with the powerbomb, but Torito comes off the top with the missile dropkick... again to no effect. Abandoning the Matadore, Ajax practically kicks Torito's head off, then plants him with the Wrath of Olympus. Matadores try to recover, but both get nailed with the powerbomb again before he pulls Torito up and nails a second powerbomb on him, before pinning him with one hand as commentators note that he has 'slain the minotaur'

Ok Vince so here's what I'm thinking name change we'll keep simple for him Kostas the Konqueror. Now what is it that every foreign heel needs?  A manger, someone to do the speaking for them so they don't embarrass themselves fumbling in English. For that manager I elect myself I help the guy. The fans don't know me but who better than someone who writes everything to make sure he does what he needs to.

Now onto the idea.

We're going to bill him from the island of Platia, no one actually lives there so we're gonna push him as a monster banished to the island for his violence.

We're going to dress him old Greek war armor. I'm talking leather chest plate, heavy leather pants, and sandals. We're going to wrap his feet in tape for matches so he can fight without the saddles.

Week 1 Raw

Early segment in the show we'll used the tried and true Torito chasing hornswoggle just because. Torito traps hornswoggle in front of a door and runs at him for his head butt. Hornswoggle moves out of the way as I open the door and end up taking a headbutt to the groin. Los Matadors laugh it up and walk away with Torito

Let's have a match between hornswoggle and el Torito, the fans react well to the midgets be they vanilla or caramel.
Torito wins and celebrates with Los Matadors like its the biggest win ever.

We'll have a pre recording of the sound of Kostas stomping his way through an empty hallway to get a nice Echo playing through the arena followed by the screaming of a couple of the staff members.
Focus in on Los Matadors looking scared. Drop the lights and we'll pump in the sounds of a scuffle before we turn the lights back on to see Los Matadors laid out. On the titantron will be a simple message stating "He's Koming"

Smackdown/main event/superstars will air a replay and Segway into the announcers speculating as to who could have done that.

Raw week 2
Backstage segment with Los Matadors having a back and forth with slater gator. Slater is taunting them about getting laid out by the darkness last week and says the same will happen again tonight. Slater gator laugh and turn to walk away and bump in to me.  Titus does his ooh rah ooh rah thing to intimidate me and keeps walking laughing it up still.

Match later of slater gator vs Los Matadors. Before the match begins we play the audio from last week and drop the lights. A loud crash is heard this time before the lights come back on. Los Matadors are laid out in the ring while Titus and Slater are on the arena floor amongst the debris of a table. New image on the titantron. "All will be Konquered"

Replay on Main event and superstars

Smackdown will have a small segment with Slater Gator talking in the back about having a rematch against Los Maadors on Raw after showing the replay from Raw

Week 3 Raw

Rematch from last week. We'll let them get a few minutes in before we begin to play the Kostas stomp. The action stops in the ring as all four men each take a side of the ring and look for trouble.

I'll come out to the entrance ramp and get their attention. I'll work something out about being tired of these so called superstars thinking they can make a mockery of the WWE staff. All four men look confused and pretend not to recognize me. Continue on to explain that I've been searching the world for a man to teach them all a lesson. I wasn't able to find a man but I did find a monster. Drop the lights long enough for Kostas to get to the ring and stand in the center.

Lights up and the four men are still looking at me.

Call for Kostas to attack all for men signaled by "Kostas" and the thumb across the throat.

Titus is the first to turn around and is met with a boot that sends him over the rope. The other three turn around and are met with a series of chops that leave them laid out. Kostas piles Los Matadors on top of each other before lifting them up for a simultaneous power bomb dubbed Kostas Krush. I come down to the ring and join Kostas as he stands over Los Matadors.

"Ladies and gentleman I present Kostas the Konqueror and all of you will bow before us."

I motion for Kostas to grab Slater and follow me out of the ring. Climb out of the ring with Slater over his shoulder and Titus starting to stand back up. He tries to rescue Slater but is tossed into the ringside barricade for his trouble.

Main event and superstars see a replay and a message from the announcers that Slater hasn't been seen since he was taken to the back.

Smackdown

Backstage segment with Los Matadors and myself. They have me cornered and are demanding to know why I had them attacked. Diego or Fernando (I can't tell them apart) pushes me trying to get answers.

"You shouldnt have done that"

Both men are immediately yanked back and thrown into the wall. Kostss unloads with stomps and chops as I stand behind him cheering on his assault. After I'm satisfied instruct Kostas to grab one of them and carry them away again.

Week 4 Raw

In ring segment of the leftover matador begging for his cousin back. Cue Tirus to come out to join him. Gives the whole I don't like you you don't like me speech but both want their ally back.

No music just a slow clap from me as I walk out from the back. Tell them they can each have their partner back all they have to do is get them.

Flash up to titantron where both Slater and the matador are chained to the wall.

Both men in the ring press up on the ropes and start yelling at me to let them go.

"Why would I let them go when we're just starting to have fun. Kostss show them our other surprise."

Back to the titsntron to see Kostas hanging a burlap sack on a hook. You can see the bag moving and the sounds of grunting coming from it. On the floor below it is Toritos mask and hornswoggles jacket

The matador is clearly distraught and Titus is pissed and ready to fight. He starts to get out of the ring. I back up a bit and yell at him to stop threatening that if either of them touches me they won't see any of their alies again.  Set up match for them to face Kostas at the PPV. If they win they get their partners back if they lose they join them.

Replays all week to build up and have announcers speaking out about the kidnappings.

Kostas vs Titus and matador. Before match we'll show the kidnapped allies still chained up to antagonize Titus and matador. Kostas makes quick work of the both of them hitting each of them with multiple Kostas Krushes. Match ends with Kostas stacking the two men on top of each other and placing one foot on them to pin.

Post match instructions for Kostas to drag both men away.

We can get them off tv finally and free up space did more of the authority and Cena.

Alright, that's time! I'm gathering all your submissions and giving them to Vince as we speak. And remember, just because Vince doesn't select your idea, doesn't mean he hasn't noticed the work you've done. Best of luck, gentlemen.

(A poll will be set up in a separate thread. Be sure to follow the instructions shown.)
