Title: The Rockets (Boston)

Hi, my name is Felicia Knight.  My father got me interested in wrestling when I was just a little girl.  Now that I've made money in the real estate market, I'm using it to make him proud, and bring him a Championship!  Don't think because I'm a girl, that I don't know my stuff.  People've been underestimating me my entire life, and I thrive on it.

I'm Dave Franklin.  I used to date Felicia for a while, but we decided to just be friends.  Anyway, she got me this job, so that was nice.  Lemme know if you need something, I guess.

Thad Bone here, to apply for this job. I have some...credentials that have been e-mailed to the appropriate sources. As a guy who's been a wrestling fan for a long time and even tried his hand at it at some point, I'm the guy for this job here.

Hello Mr. Bone, pleasure to meet you. A man with confidential sources....so mysterious! Anyway, please tell me how you'd make my club a winning club. What sort of style are you partial to? Aerial? Technical? Brawling?

Title: Re: The Rockets
Post by: T-Bonizzle on February 26, 2015, 10:17:50 AM
I like those smaller, faster technical fighters. Guys who can sink in a deep submission but also kick you in the face. Guys who can run a 4.4 and also beat someone down. Today's fans want a fast paced and hard hitting style of wrestler. Guys (and gals) who know what they are doing in the ring.

So, you'd prefer to use smaller guys. Guys who would traditionally be overlooked, and underestimated in the ring. If hired, where would you look to set up our base camp? A large market city, mid market, or small market?

Title: Re: The Rockets
Post by: T-Bonizzle on February 26, 2015, 01:54:34 PM
A mid market city. A city like that is more intimate, allowing us to better connect with the people, while still being large enough to draw significant support. I wouldn't want our team to be distracted by the lure of a big city either.

Hey there, pretty lady. My name is Fnord and I'm throwing my hat in the ring, so to speak, here. I've been known to go a little to the X-TREME if you get my meaning. I'd love to be a candidate to run the show around here.

Mr. Bone, you have interviewed very well.  Is there anything else you wish to impress upon me, any last words to leave me with while I interview other candidates?

*****

Pretty lady?  X-TREME?  I'm not sure who you're used to talking to Fnord, but it certainly isn't a lady that built herself up from nothing.  It also certainly isn't someone that has the ability to hire you, because that was probably the worst first impression you could have left with me.

I'll give you a second chance though.  Wow me, or Dave can show you the door.

We're cut from the same cloth so to speak. I am the guy for this job, I'm not applying anywhere else. Let's show the rest of TCW together, which team flies highest.

I would not mean to offend a beauty such as you, it would equate to stomping on a rose deep into the mud. I only mention that you beauty fits in well with your obvious power and intimidation. As you can see by my look alone I always give the worst first impression. But I've always been an outside-of-the-box thinker knowing that you should never judge a book by it's cover. You see, I get positive results. Though some of my tactics my be slightly x-treme, the results in the end are highly sought after.

Well that was certainly an odd exit, but I must admit that I liked him.

*****

I do agree that you should never trust a book by it's cover.  It's that exact reason that I've given you a second chance, and why I'm so perplexed that you keep brining up my perceived beauty.

You say that you bring positive results.  How would you go about achieving them?  Further, what would you consider to be a positive result?  A winning record?  Making the playoffs?  Winning the TCW Championship for the Rockets?

Miss Knight, allow me to introduce myself, I'm the guy you want for the president of your club, Chris Shields. I'm gonna be honest, I intended to interview for The Shark Tank and no one else, because well I'm a loyal kind of guy, and when I say I want to join a group, I stick by that. However, the man in charge of that club said, go ahead and interview other places, so I'm here because I think you're going to be able to see what he obviously couldn't right away. If you hire me, I'm your guy, I'm gonna follow your idea, it's not about the kind of wrestlers I like, it's about the kind of wrestlers you like. You tell me what you like, and I will go out and find the best group of people who fit that description. I'm a man who has studied wrestling, and for a short time before a career ending injury, I competed inside of that ring against all different types of wrestlers. There is no one else who is going to be as thorough in their research as I am, and there's no one else who will be able to fill your roster with the kind of talent that you will love. You give me a basic plan, and I will make sure this club is the best ever.

Mr. Shields, thank you for coming in and interviewing.  I do appreciate you being up front with who else you're interviewing with, as it speaks to your character.

I appreciate your attitude of wanting to build a team around the types of wrestlers I like....but only to a point.  I'm hiring someone to be the President of the stable, and with that comes a certain amount of responsibility.  As a man who studied wrestling, tell me what sort of team you'd prefer to assemble.

Title: Re: The Rockets
Post by: Chris Shields on February 27, 2015, 06:17:56 PM
I personally enjoy a good fight, a brawl, so I'd certainly look to bring in some heavy hitters, people who may not be flashy with what they do, but are capable of getting the job done. That's my personal preference, and I'd obviously want to bring in at least a hard hitting brawling tag team or a good mid level guy. For this team, I'd also look to incorporate one or two guys who are adapt brawlers, but employ more of a technical in ring style. Speed is also something that can't be overlooked, and it would be nice to have someone on the team who can perhaps bring a little bit of that fast paced style. Brawlers and powerhouses would be my go to type of guys, but I know that sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough by looking at some of the smaller more technical guys. I know that you are a woman who knows and loves the business just like I do, and I truly believe that we could craft the best stable of all time.

A well rounded approach.  I like that idea Mr. Shields.  Where would you like to place our camp?  A large market, mid market, or small market city?

Title: Re: The Rockets
Post by: Chris Shields on February 28, 2015, 12:28:14 AM
Large market city, specifically Dallas, Texas. It's a fantastic town that is rich with wrestling history, and the fans are hungry for a new organization after having been deprived for far too long. I've got some connections in the city, I know it well, and they will no doubt embrace the Rockets with open arms.

Thank you for your time Mr. Shields, I think I have all the information I need.  The floor is yours, for one last pitch if you'd like to make one.  Otherwise, I'll be in touch when a decision has been made.  Feel free to interview anywhere else you like, I know the competition is rough out there.

Call me whatever you want, I don't really care man.  Anyway, you tell me where you want me to look, and I'll find a pair of facilities in that city.  I'll give you the breakdown, and when you decide tell me and I'll secure the property.  I guess.

Anyway, it'll come out of your "incentives" budget.

I found a couple places.  First is a 5,000 seat building near a shopping center and restaurants.  That goes for $3 million per year.  The second is a 7,000 seat facility in the heart of downtown.  They want $5 million per season.

Hey!  Been a wrestling fan my whole life man!  I spent my teen years working at my families logging company in Maine.  An indy fed opened up in my neck of the woods, and I gave it a go.  I was getting pretty good, but concussions ended things early for me.  You'll never find a harder worker than me sir.  Since I couldn't be a Champion myself, I've made it my mission to train one.

Mr. Bone, it is nice to meet you.  My name is Melissa Solis, and I'll be representing Percy.  He wanted me to impress on you that he feels you are the luckiest man in TCW, having a talent like him fall to the fourth overall pick.  Percy is obviously good enough to be the top overall selection, and he intends to make the 3 clubs that passed pay.

Title: Re: The Rockets (Boston)
Post by: T-Bonizzle on March 15, 2015, 08:36:23 PM
Percy was one of my top scouting targets, I think his in-ring ability embodies my vision for The Rockets. I'm surprised he fell as far as he did, but let's make President Pancakes, Pancho, and Evans look pretty silly by comparison. What is Percy thinking about in terms of a contract?

Thad, we seem to be in a very interesting situation right now.  Neither the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd pick has signed yet, so you get to be the one that sets the tone so to speak.  I have a figure in mind, but I'd like to hear your proposal first.  Dazzle me.

Well, looks like today is your lucky day.  After all, it isn't every day that a top talent falls so far in the draft that he feels overlooked.  Neglected.  Unloved.  You can show him the love by doing the following.

First, we require a guarantee that Caleb will be slotted near the top of the card.  Also, Caleb and I really don't care about his draft position, we KNOW his value.  And that value is, 2 years at $8 million per year.

Try to nickel and dime me, and things won't go so well.  Fair warning.

We have a deal.

"I've drafted another one of your clients, Carter Sawyer. I will have to admit that he fell outside our scouting scope this off-season. I intend to have him work with everyone and come in off the bench initially until I can get to know him better. You know as I have quite a few of your clients that we have a great team, let's make Carter apart of it. Would a 1 year 3.5 "show-me" contract work for everyone?"

Now you'll fill out a preseason sheet for the trainers.  You'll set your probable lineup, name a club 'Captain', select 3 wrestlers to send to specialized training (be sure to specify the training!), and lay out (in detail) the PR campaigns that you intend to use.  Once you 'lock in', that's it.  There's no going back, so make sure you do everything you're supposed to do.

Once training camp has concluded, you'll be provided with a sheet by your staff, detailing the results.

Projected Line-Up

Main Event - Platinum Percy James
Semi-Main Event - Caleb McKinney
Tag Team #1 - Ben Armstrong
Tag Team #2 - Crimson Blade
Opener - Mr. Steele
Women - Amy Anderson
Bench - Ceasar
Sparring - Carter Sawyer

Captain - Percy James

Contractual PR Campaigns

Percy James - 1.5 Mil: Let's put together a video package of his career highlights that will be played through out the vignette. We should take advantage of Boston's history and have a film shoot in the historical quarter. Percy James oozes charisma, so I am just going to give him talking points for which he can work into his vignette as he pleases. Let Percy hit his usual talking points about all the titles he has won, groupies he has had, and people he has beaten. Just like Boston he is a cut above the rest. As the first wrestler in TCW he is here to set the 'Platinum' Standard for which everyone lives up to. Remember, 'it ain't bragging if you back it up!' At the end of the video we'll superimpose the tag line for this campaign. 'Platinum Percy James: The Standard of TCW'.

Ben Armstrong - 500K: We're going to split up Armstrong's PR to promote him, and then to also promote his tag team with Crimson Blade. Let's get an interview up on our team website and other media outlets and remind everyone just how good Ben Armstrong is. He's had many partners in the past, with many championships, but all those teams have one thing in common, Ben Armstrong. He makes everyone he teams with better, and that's what we want to get across to the fans.

Ben Armstrong and Crimson Blade Tag Team - 500K/500K: The cornerstone of the tag team division will be Armstrong and Blade. We're not going to name the tag team right now, the best thing for us to do is to let the fans see our great tag team and they'll decide on a name that'll catch one. The last thing we want to do is shove some garbage down their throats. Armstrong and Blade have their own highlight packages, and we'll get that into their profiles. I'd like to get some footage from training camp of them working together too.

Mr. Steele - 1 Mil: I'm not sure how familiar American fans are with Mr. Steele. From our meeting the other day I could tell Mr. Steele is a man of few words. We'll promote him as a mystery man...a wildcard. As a matter of fact, I want to keep details about his work in the pre-season a secret. Don't let the media see him at all. We'll try to use media outlets to play up the mystery. Everyone will want to see a glimpse of him, but they'll be unable to. We'll take some of his highlight tape, add a grainy effect to the video, make it a little more difficult to view and release that in an artistic manner to hopefully draw up intrigue.

Ceasar - 500K: Ceasar embodies the spirit of The Rockets. Our owner Felicia Knight has been an underdog all her life. There is no doubt despite his stature and his age Ceasar still has 'it'. American audiences are probably not familiar with him, so we need to change that in a hurry. Let's get a video package together focusing on Ceasar's greatest comebacks in his long career. Nothing will excite our fans more.

Amy Anderson - 500K: I'd like to get Amy a photo shoot down in the training facilities. Nothing will attract the male demographic to our team more than that. Obviously we need to promote her beauty with her in-ring prowess. Let's keep this one simple, we don't want to turn off fans instead. We'll promote her as the 'Beauty with a Bite'. I think that'll send a strong message.

Team Rocket PR - 1 Mil: We're going to spend one million for an extended meet and greet for the team with the fans. We'll make the event open to the public, and we'll cater. As per our Mr. Steele angle, his appearance should be brief. Boston is a city that has a great relationship with their sports franchises, and we need to continue that tradition.

Team Weekend Out - 1.5 Mil of Incentives Budget: We gotta get these guys (players and staff) familiar with Boston. We'll hire a guide to take them to the best spots in Boston and to familiarize themselves with. I think the Bells are playing pre-season games this weekend, we should make an appearance then. Finally I'll treat the team out to dinner, we'll rent a passenger boat and have dinner out on the wharf.

Media Day PR - 500K: Let's organize a media day for the team and invite all the local media outlets. We'll give them full access to the staff and team, though we'll have a spokesperson for Mr. Steele to keep up the air of intrigue. Percy James should lead the session, I know he knows how to work a crowd. I will also make myself available for questions as well. Invite Ms. Knight too if she would like to make herself available to the media.

Hire a Massage Therapist 250K of Incentives: I want to hire a professional massage therapist part-time to help out Dr. Green to take care of the team. I'd prefer a male to be hired so as to avoid any possible controversy in the locker room.

Team Meeting - 250K of Incentives: I'd like to have a meeting with the team, lunch included, where I will detail my plan and vision for the upcoming season. My plans are this...I am going to take advantage of the talent on this roster to put us in the best position to beat the other club every week. That may require me to shuffle the line-up occasionally, but I promise to keep everyone in the loop. Everyone on the team is valued, and everyone is here because I believe they are the best team that could be assembled. The Rockets will fly high in TCW!

Specialized Training
Send Amy Anderson to Technical Skills training
Send Crimson Blade to Charisma training
Send Percy James to Resilience training

The team is back from training camp.  Here's a few notes for you:

~ Percy James and Caleb McKinney do not get along - at all.  Percy made sure Caleb knew that, although their base salary is the same, his incentives package was better, PLUS he was the Main Eventer.  Caleb was not happy.
~ The team tried to rally behind Trainer August, but it soon became clear that he had very little idea what he was doing.  The club ended up listening to Trainer Lyons for the most part.
~ Mr. Steele seemed upset that he was the opener.  It's really hard to tell with him though.
~ Carter Sawyer and Ceasar bonded over wondering what their future was on this stacked team.

The trainers are putting together the team sheet for you.  Once I get it to you, you'll be expected to put out a press release before speaking to your Head Trainer.

"Greetings to all fans and fey alike. My name is Thad Bone and I am the captain of this here ship, so to speak. This press conference is about one thing, and that is to introduce the team that will win the first season of TCW! I'd like to first introduce the staff that will be the driving force behind this team. Head Physician Donna Green, Assistant Trainer Don Lyons, and Head Trainer Aiden August!

Thank you. This staff is full of top notch professionals who will get the very best out of this team. Now I'd like to introduce next, the captain of this team. A man who has won it all, and done it all, and will lead the team to the TCW Gold. Platinum Percy James!

Next I'd like to introduce to you the woman who will take up the spotlight in TCW, and let's face it, she will probably steal the show from the men on a few occasions...Amy Anderson!

We've also incidentally enough have the best tag team combination in the league. I got a chance to see them during training camp, and wow they look like they've been tagging for a decade. Here are Ben Armstrong and Crimson Blade!

Next is a young and hungry talent who will take this league by storm, Carter Sawyer!

Next this man brings the international flare to the team with unmatched toughness and heart. He has spent a career tearing it up and Mexico and it is my privilege to introduce Ceasar to American audiences!

I'd like to next introduce a man, who frankly scares the shit out of me...did they bleep that? The censors might want to...Anyway this man is terrifying, and only more so when you're in his sightline...Mr. Steele!

And finally I'd like to introduce the great powerhouse of TCW...they'll be talking about him a decade from now, Caleb McKinney!

Please everyone a round of applause for The Rockets!

Thank you, thank you. As you are all well aware the season for TCW kicks off in short order. I implore the fans of Boston to come down to our first event of the season, this is a winning team the city can cheer for, and the campaign for TCW Gold starts with the fans of this city coming out and energizing this team!

I would like to thank everyone for coming to The Rockets introductory press conference, please drive safe, avoid mini black holes, and thank you for your time!"

Outside of the personality issues that I believe you're aware of, I think we're gonna be alright talent wise.  So long as we don't implode, we should make a solid run at this thing.  Everyone is a hard worker, and that makes me happy.

Rocket's Press Conference

On Last Week's Events
"The event was great for The Rockets, and bad for the rest of TCW. While the other matches in the league were back and forth affairs, the Rockets vs. The Union Jacks was never in doubt. The Rockets absolutely throttled the Union Jacks in route to the first win of the season. If not for some cheating, it would have been even worse for the Jacks. We have put the rest of the league on notice."

On the News Story
"As I mentioned before, the main event match between Percy James and Rory McCaul was tainted by the interference of Pearl. The Union Jacks, not content to take a loss with grace, sent out Pearl to interfere in the main event match and give McCaul the fluke victory. Everyone knows Percy would have won that match otherwise, McCaul couldn't put him away. No one on my team should be ashamed of their performances. Rory McCaul should be ashamed however that it took outside interference just so he could pull out a lucky win. Next time Percy James is going to make Rory McCaul tap out in the middle of the ring."

Around the League
"The big story this week might be the man who DIDN'T show up to any matches, when Rafa Faafili refused to show up for the Rebellion. Obviously if President Justin can't get his house together, he has no chance against us next week."

On Next Week
"We face The Rebellion next week, and without their star Samoan, I don't think they stand a chance against us. I think the team will put on another dominating performance. We're the team to beat right now, and I trust my coaching staff to keep the team focused."

Rocket's Press Conference

On Last Week's Events
TCW is officially on notice, the Rockets dominated The Rebellion taking it 5-0. No other team is winning their match-ups with the margin of victory like we are. Hands down we're the best team in the league and it's not even close.

On the News Story
We have an extremely talented team and just about everyone can Main Event and win from that spot. Mr. Steele and everyone else on the team will get their chance at primetime if they haven't already. We are the best team and line-ups are going to reflect that.

Around the League
Joel Rocker better get used to losing, because when he and The Shoot Club face off against The Rockets this week, that is what's going to happen.

On Next Week
I'm looking forward to our next match-up. The Shoot Club has not been doing well in this first season of TCW...and we are not a team that you can easily look to pick-up a rebound win. The only way The Shoot Club is winning this week is if we don't show up.

Pinon?  I know there is a Pinon, Arizona and a Pinon, New Mexico.  I don't know if Mr. Steele has ever been there though, he is pretty tight lipped about things.

Speaking of Mr. Steele, he's kind of a weird guy.  He never says anything, but he works real hard.  It's obvious he thinks he's good enough to move up the card, but I'm afraid that we'll ruffle a lot of feathers if we do something like that.

I have a stu-stu-stu-stu- speech thing sometimes. Opinion.

Anyway yeah, he'll have his chance, it won't be because he demanded it though, that's not a precedent we'll be setting. The team is really talented, and we'll have to find ways to get everyone involved in the coming weeks. Anything else you can think of?

Rocket's Press Conference

On Last Week's Events
Another great win by this team, and despite TCW doing it's best to screw with one of our stars, we are still at the top of the league. No one can stop us, the best has yet to come.

On the News Story
I think it's complete bullshit that the referee had the gall to count an illegal pin against McKinney. This isn't the first time a TCW official has allowed some rule-breaking by the opposing team go unpunished. Maybe the league is purposely trying to screw over the best team to generate headlines, I don't know. But results like this won't continue to go unchallenged by this organization.

Around the League
GM Death and The Rebels are in for a rude awakening if they can't get Donnie Temple to suit up for them against us this week. He's allowing his star player to forfeit matches and that's disgraceful. If Temple was a real competitor he wouldn't lie down in the middle of the ring like that. As a wrestling fan I'd be ashamed to see that display and demand a refund.

On Next Week
We face The Rebels, and let's face it, they are spiraling out of control. The only way they are winning any matches against us this week is if yet another TCW official screws over one of my guys.

"It's not a demotion. You're still The Captain and the man on this team. It is simply a one week adjustment in order to provide us the best possible match-up against The Rebels. This is not a decision I have made lightly. It's a decision I have made with the team's best interest in mind. I know as the Captain of this team you will set a professional example and beat the hell out of Jackson Cage this week."

It was their 25th anniversary issue, and they had celebrities come in and help to groom some show dogs.  They tried to give me a shih zu, but I told them that there was NO WAY I'd be caught dead with a furball like that.  In the end, I helped groom Daisy, a border collie.  She won best in show that year, naturally.

Rocket's Press Conference

On Last Week's Events
"It was a tough loss to swallow. I put the line-up out there I thought had the best chance to succeed, and I was wrong. These guys are wrestling great, this week's loss is on me 100%, I misread the situations."

On the News Story
"Like I said it was a tough loss. Some of our guys have been really tearing it up. The Rebels just caught us off the back of Donnie Temple. He's a great wrestler and good on GM Death for getting the best out of him. Next time we face The Rebels though, we'll crush them."

Around the League
"GM Franchise's house is not in order. I'm shocked Kamikaze Lee attacked Coach Masuka, I think the whole league is. Even though we're facing The Wildcats this week, I hope Franchise does the right thing and disciplines Kamikaze Lee. GM Franchise needs to send a message to the league that uncouth behavior like that will not be tolerated by TCW."

On Next Week
"Wildcats have some momentum coming into this week, but we'll be ready. Despite a tough loss we still have the best head-to-head splits in the league, and that's because we're the best team in the league. We'll get back on course, and that starts with a win against the Wildcats."

"Let's break it down, I think the match-up against the Rebels was very winnable. Crimson and Ben picked up another loss. I know they were facing a great tag team, but I'm starting to get concerned about them. I'm also getting concerned by opposing teams using run-ins to take wins away. I thought Amy was handling Tigress, but a run-in cost her, and possibly us the entire match. But first your thoughts on Crimson and Ben?"

Gibson and Wynn are probably the top duo in the entire league.  Those guys are carrying the Rebels on their backs, along with Temple.  It wouldn't surprise me if they went undefeated the whole year, they are that good.  I think that Armstrong and Blade just ran into a buzzsaw this week.

As you're well aware, Percy and McKinney don't get along....at all.  Tensions were high when you swapped those two in the lineup, and now with the result being unfavorable, that tension has just ratcheted up a few dozen notches.

Add to that Mr. Steele is seems to grow increasingly angrier and angrier.  He doesn't speak to any of us, but recently he's been having outbursts in the locker room.  Kicking over chairs, grunting at teammates, stuff like that.  Every time I post the lineup sheet, he just shakes his head and walks away.

The locker room is not a happy, friendly place right now boss.  Frankly, I hate going in there myself.

"Alright guys, this isn't going to be an easy conversation. Coach and I feel the feud you guys have is...distracting to say the least. You two are Top 5 talents in this league, the other team's would be lucky to have even one guy on your levels, and this team has two. If we could just put the distrust and the egos aside and work together as a team, honestly we'd have the easiest fucking time in the world in TCW. The Rockets would walk all over teams every week. Yeah we've had some up and downs. Yeah the other team's have to cheat just to have a chance to beat either of you.

Maybe...maybe you guys just don't respect each other. Maybe it's because you don't know how good the other is. Neither of you is going to like this...neither of you will be in the main event this week. This discord, this lack of respect, I cannot have in my locker room. You guys are tagging this week, and when you beat whoever the Wildcats manage to throw at you, maybe, just maybe we can start being a fucking team. Because we are the best team in this league. The Rebels and The Devils can go fuck themselves. I don't care if you want to argue all the way down to the ring this week, all through out practice, whatever. Because when you guys get in the ring this week I expect you to take care of business. Are we going to take care of business this week?"

I came down here to congratulate you on the hot start that the team has had...but after that display, combined with the rather unfocused loss last week, I feel as though there may be deep problems inside your locker room that maybe I wasn't aware of.

"The locker room is full of huge talent and HUGE ego. Caleb and Percy in particular want to be THE man on this team, and they want their word to be law, and they want to humiliate the other at any opportunity. While it looks chaotic right now from your position, just know that I am a hands on President, and I will maintain control over the locker room. If that means a few busted lips and bruised egos, so be it."

Any other locker room issues I need to be made aware of?

This incident has shaken my confidence in you Mr. Bone. You keep putting up wins, and it's not a problem. If you don't....I don't need to finish that sentence, do I?

"Hey guys. I'm going to be giving you guys the week off. I want to work Carter and Ceasar into the rotation, and generally make some moves this week to solidify the team. This isn't an indictment against you guys, it's just what I feel we need to do this week. So you guys get rested up, and next week you guys will return to business as usual. Alright?"

"I...don't understand Crimson there...

But no way you haven't done anything wrong. I need the tag spot this week for Caleb and Percy. Their feud has been a big disruption to this team, and so they are teaming up so that maybe they can get an ounce of respect for each other and squash the conflict.

Ben while I have you here though, I wanted to ask you to stick close to the team backstage this week. We've had a rash of other team's cheating to win matches, and it finally cost us last week. I don't know what can be done about it if anything, but I'll feel better knowing that someone is watching this team's backside. Can I count on you?"

Ceasar please.

"Ceasar thanks for coming up. I'm spotting you into the line-up this week, but with the potential turmoil the Wildcats have been rumored to have I cannot project who your opponent will be exactly. It'll be the semi-main spot. I know you've been itching to get into this line-up. Any questions?"

Carter you're getting your shot in the line-up this week in the opening slot. Unfortunately I cannot project who your likely opponent is, so be ready for anything."

"Stick it to your opponent then this week!"

-----------------------------

"Dave, I'd like you to leave a note for Mr. Steele letting him know he's in the Main Event. He's not much of a talker, so no sense calling him in here. I uhhh....recommend you wait until he has his back turned before approaching though.

Also, assuming you survive that, take the lock-in sheet to the coaches please."

Main Event - Mr. Steele
Semi-Main Event - Ceasar
Tag Team #1 - Platinum Percy James
Tag Team #2 - Caleb McKinney
Opener - Carter Sawyer
Women - Amy Anderson
Bench - Ben Armstrong
Sparring - Crimson Blade

LOCKED IN

Rocket's Press Conference

On Last Week's Events
"I would say the week was a win overall. The Rebels and the Devils posted their first loss, and we gained half a game on The Rebels. We also still have the best overall record in the league. This is the best team in the league, and we're well on our way to regain the top spot."

On the News Story
"I've said it before, we have the best team in the league, that isn't in doubt. The other nine teams just don't stack up to ours. We're a team that needs to start coming together as a team. This week Caleb McKinney and Percy James got a win together as a TEAM. The Rockets are turning a corner, and this locker room WILL come together one way or another."

Around the League
"I think the biggest news of the week was President Rob quitting on his SECOND team. I hope he never gets another job managing any team again. He doesn't deserve it."

On Next Week
The Militia has a few good men, namely Mr. USA. He's an American hero for sure. However The Militia is not a team we're looking to lose to. This week we're going to get ourselves back at the top of the standings.

Percy and Caleb may have won their match, but it goes more towards their overall talent than any sort of cohesion between them.

Mr. Steele left the arena without even showering or changing out of his ring gear.  If I had to guess, I'd say he was upset about having the Main Event slot, but not winning.

Anderson and Ceasar are both sulking over their losses.

Blade and Armstrong are wondering what their future is.

Sawyer is upbeat though, so we've got that going for us.
