LSU's Tyrann Mathieu (The Honey Badger) Dismissed from team

wow, just saw that Mathieu, a 2011 Heisman finalist and projected first round pick in next year NFL draft was kicked from the team today.  Big move from LSU, as he was the latest in a line of top CB's with return abilities.

Draft stock has to take a hit right?

My guess is another drug related incident.  I'm sure he will transfer to a smaller school so he can play right away.

His stock takes a hit , but he got the talent he still going to get drafted ... very surprise.

He'll go in the 2nd round. I think he would have been passed up in the 1st (unless he won the heisman) because he's a really small corner...maybe thats why hes on the juice....trying to get big like LaRon Landry.

Hope the Eagles bite on this guy tho, he's a mega talent.

He's very small in terms of corner size, but the guy can make plays.

Think a move to Safety would be best. His coverage skills are solid, but a much better tackler. Could be a Brian Dawkins type player....which is why I think Philly would be high on his radar, we need safeties.

I like the comparison to Brian Dawkins.  I definitely think safety would be the best fit.  LSU had plans on playing him at safety at times.
