Show is recording tomorrow folks.

Get involved with MFX! We're not asking for blood...yet.

Any thoughts on our Xmas shows? What about TNA and their current position in the wrestling world. Any thoughts on AJ leaving or Jeff Jarrett going? What about Magnus as TNA Champion?

Please don't just ignore us and the podcast. We make it for you guys to enjoy, even if I reckon about 5 of you actually listen to us regularly!

Anyway, enough minor venting of frustration . If you'd like to support and help MFX send us an email or something here or on Facebook.

Thanks
Duckman

MFX72 – The IMPACT Edition is up!!

Happy New Year MFX Galaxy!  Hopefully you've all had an awesome Christmas and New Year.  MFX is back with the first show of 2014.  So join Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and life in general.  On the show this week...

Duckman and Sir Ian discuss their Christmas break, movies they loved and hated and what their favourite presents were.  They discuss annoying new year resolutions.  Duckman shares another scary story from his brother, which leads to loads of chat about spirits, ghosts and more!  There's feedback and emails from the MFX Galaxy which leads to discussions about AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett leaving TNA.

The show is wrapped up with a classic MFX review of IMPACT.  There's talk about the never ending feuds in TNA.  The question of bringing more reality into TNA's shows is also covered.  Duckman comes up with a new nickname for Bully Ray.  Plus Brick Hogan returns with her first Try Hard Ruler of the Week Award of the year.  A fun way to kick off the new year with MFX we're sure you'll agree.

Thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

It's Thursday, which can only mean one thing – it's time for MFX72 The RAW Edition!!  That's right people MFX is back for another slice of NSFW, side splittingly funny, occasionally insightful, wrestling podcasting malarkey.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.  On the show this week...

Sir Ian is in crisis.  He thought he was old but according to a soon to be published article on him in a trade magazine, he's 'relatively young.'  This upsets Sir Ian greatly and amuses Duckman no end.

That aside, there's a massive announcement of a new partnership between MFX and our buddies at Single Leg Takedown Wrestling.  Exciting times ahead and we couldn't be more proud and pleased to be forming a partnership with such a great site.

The excitement continues with some news of a UK based wrestling film project Rhumble Rama.  This movie is going to be a focal point of MFX this year and the story behind how it has come to be made is fascinating and a lesson to us all – chase your dreams people!

Unfortunately the great and interesting movie vibe can't be maintained as the lads review Randy Orton's latest turkey, 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded.  You'll be please to know the movie gets the full MFX treatment.

The show is wrapped up this week with a really fun review of a really fun edition of Old School Monday Night Raw.  Every segment and match is covered as only MFX can.

Thanks for listening and if you're listening for the first time through SLTD Wrestling, welcome to the MFX Galaxy!

Be sure to get involved in future shows through all the usual channels.  Oh and BUY SOME MERCH!

1. Can Gunner's MFX nickname be changed to 'Mr Non-Entity' since nobody cares about him?
2. Since Gunner is apparently a face and James Storm is apparently a heel - what are the odds of James Storm finally getting some career rehabilitation and 'Bobby Roode-ing' him out of the FoF World Title Shot briefcase?

MFX73 The Impact Edition is up!!

The bleak days of January are relentless and grey.  Thankfully, MFX73 IMPACT Edition is here to warm your soul and tickle your funny bone.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and life in general.

On the show this week...

They kick the show off with more complaining about horrible new year diets – even Duckman has jumped on the healthy living bandwagon.  The lads quiz Ryback about his latest Twitter meltdown and try to get to the truth of what is happening to the Big Guy.  They take a look at two new articles on Single Leg Takedown Wrestling, as well as discuss your feedback to last week's shows.  There's TNA questions from you guys, plus a chat about Jesse Sorensen's recent shoot interview with Highspots and Dixie Carter's actions towards him.

Then it's on to the IMPACT review for this week.  This is MFX's Randy Newman tribute episode.  Duckman and Sir Ian try to use the song, 'You've Got a Friend In Me' in nearly every segment.  Well, they had to do something to amuse themselves while reviewing this terrible, terrible show.  Dixie Carter owns the world, TNA has no babyfaces of worth and AJ Styles vs. Magnus is so overbooked and dumb, even Vince Russo would blush.  A poor show but a tremendous review!

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved in future shows through all the usual channels.

I've got rid of the WWE and TNA feedback boards.  We'll just keep everything related to MFX in this thread.

With that said, would love to get some feedback on the IMPACT show this week.

Remember to check out the new Facebook discussion group for the show, which you can find here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/254139178077294/

Makes it really easy to interact with the show and other listeners.

We'd love it if you could subscribe to the show via Stitcher (this is my personal favourite way to listen to podcasts) and maybe leave a rating or a comment.  Which you can do here:

What's better than Friday?  Nothing, right?  Wrong!  How about Friday with the added awesomeness of MFX?  That's right, MFX73 The RAW Edition is here!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.

On the show this week...

A huge opening to the show with chat about clowns, illness, the Golden Globes, Sir Ian gives himself a new nickname, the WWE Network is covered in detail.  So is Warrior going into the Hall of Fame and all your feedback and so much more.  There's more content and laughs in these 90 minutes than most other wrestling podcasts can manage in a lifetime.

Then it's onto the RAW review.  Boring Kane is boring.  John Cena's Dad gets punched.  Daniel Bryan is awesome but WWE's storytelling continues to make no sense.  Another really fun MFX review of the longest running episodic TV show about dudes in pants pretending to fight.

As always, thanks for listening to the show and don't forget to get involved in future shows through all the usual channels.

Oh you lucky people, look how early the show has been posted!  That's right folks, it's time for MFX 74 The IMPACT Edition.  Join Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and life in general.

On the show this week...

Sir Ian's new gimmick taken from The Wolf of Wall Street gathers pace as Ian 'Wolfie' Trumps sets out his plans for world domination.  You people have no idea what you have started with this.  There's all your feedback discussed, which includes updates on the lad's new year diets and another scary ghost story from Duckman's brother.  Plus there's an update on the legal situation regarding Hulk Hogan's naughty home movie.  There's even time to talk about TNA and a couple of recent releases from the company.

Then it's onto a review of TNA's Genesis show, which was just an edition of IMPACT with a different name.  This was a terrible show.  Honestly, it's tough to find anything redeeming about the show.  So lacking in logic and interesting storylines and once again a big star in TNA's contract is expiring and it's being made into a storyline.  Tell us something we don't know!  Anyway, the review is a lot of fun as the lads try to make sense of what they were watching.  They probably fail to do so but at least there's a ton of laughs to be had!

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved in future shows through all the usual channels.

I still haven't managed to get through a full episode of Raw in one sitting. The whole show is getting tedious... But for some reason every week I force myself to watch it.
