Duckman

MFX86 The RAW Edition is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and life in general.  On the show this week...

The MFX Merch wars between Duckman and Sir Ian begins in earnest.  The lads announce a new format and schedule for MFX – including details of a new podcast that will have nothing to do with wrestling!  Your feedback and emails are discussed and there's a review of the first episode of WWE Legend's House.  Lots of funny here folks!

The show wraps up with the RAW review.  Sir Ian isn't convinced by Randy Orton's fashion choices, Duckman is stunned to be entertained by Ryback, there's loads of in-depth discussion on where Daniel Bryan's character goes now his underdog story has been told.  Plus the lads wonder who has better mind control skills, Bray Wyatt in general, or John Cena and his marriage avoidance with Nikki Bella.  While this wasn't the greatest episode of RAW, there's plenty of fun to be found in this review.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

Episode 1 of MFX Unleashed is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they leave behind the world of pro wrestling and are unleashed on pop culture, sport, news and any other random topic they can find.  On the show this week...

The lads discuss the recent departure of David Moyes as Manchester United manager and the state of football in general.  Duckman shares his love of the Stone Roses and the story of why he will always love the band and one song in particular.  The lads discuss the recent Psychopath Night TV show and Sir Ian takes a test to see how much of a psychopath he is!  Plus the lads award the first MFX Jar Jar Binks Award to someone who is so horrible, they are second only to Jar Jar in the list of the worst things ever created.

It's a really fun show, with a few serious elements thrown in for good measure.  We hope you enjoy it and that you get involved with future shows through all the usual channels.

Thanks for listening!

Duckman

MFX87 – It's Oh So Quiet.  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and WWE.  On the show this week...

Sir Ian gets a new car and a new haircut.  IMPACT and Sacrifice are reviewed.  There's not a lot to love about either show, but thanks to singing Madison Rayne's music while ordering Chinese food, time travelling IMPACT fans and other such nonsense, the lads do squeeze some laughs out of what were two pretty poor shows.

The final part of the show is the RAW review.  Kane renovates Hornswoggle's loft, Ric Flair works in a prison library and John Cena tries to teach Josh 'Sonic' Matthews his secret sex ninja skills.  All that contained within a full review of RAW and as always, MFX brings the funny.

Three poor shows, three poor crowds and somehow this show is full of giggles and high jinks – that's just how good MFX is.  Plus there's even some constructive criticism and a few nuggets of insight scattered among the silly jokes and songs.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with future shows through all the channels.  Oh and BUY SOME MERCH!

MFX Unleashed Ep 2 is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they leave behind the world of pro-wrestling and take an unleashed look at all things pop culture, sport and more!  On the show this week...

Sir Ian hits Newcastle for a stag weekend.  The lads take a look at some of the big news stories of the week including the Jeremy Clarkson controversy, the sad passing of Bob Hoskins and the recent Star Wars 7 cast news.  The lads pick their EPL manager and players of the year, plus Sir Ian names the MFX Jar Jar Binks of the Week Award and they discover the key to eternal life, or something.

Another fun show with a whole plethora (yeah, that's right – plethora) of topics covered as only MFX can.  Lots of laughs and some nuggets of insight scattered throughout.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

MFX88 – This is Bram's Britain.

MFX88 is up!!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA.  On the show this week...

A jammed packed show for you this week folks.  There's some WWE financial report chat.  The lads review TNA Impact.  Magnus' new friend Bram News Barnet arrives from the UK and takes over MFX forever.  Despite them messing around a lot, the lads agree this was a decent episode of IMPACT, which makes a nice change.

Then it's WWE time as the lads look back at Extreme Rules and the follow up Monday Night RAW.  There's great matches, rubbish cage matches, creepy kids, cheap Russian heat, JBL relives his college days and your World Champion runs away like a little wuss.  All that and so much more!  The lads wrap the show up this week by answering a couple of listener questions about a whole host of different subjects.

A really fun show this week, plenty of laughs and even a little insight too.  As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved in the show through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX Unleashed Episode 3 is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they leave behind the world of professional wrestling and are unleashed on news, movies, sport and pop culture.  On the show this week...

Duckman experiences a first world problem.  Sir Ian explains the NFL draft and the lads weigh up the pros and cons of the system and whether or not it would work in UK sports.  The England World Cup squad is discussed in detail and mocked.  The lads get confused over Marvel films and mourn the loss of one of one of their favourite TV shows.  Plus Sir Ian awards his MFX Jar Jar Binks of the Week Award to the biggest moron of the week.

Another fun show, with tons of topic covered and even a few insightful comments among all the jokes and giggles.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved in future shows through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX89 – MFX owns Vince.

MFX89 is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA.  On the show this week...

Duckman and Sir Ian discuss the big news of the week in wrestling including Daniel Bryan's injury, Prince Devitt signing for WWE and the signing of WWE's new TV deal and subsequent share price crash.  A share price crash that's so steep, Sir Ian decides to get on board and cash in!  Duckman reports back from a really fun night at the WWE house show in Glasgow.

The IMPACT review stars Bram News Barnet again.  He's not a fan of Willow.  Or anything that isn't British.  There's stupid heel turns and strippers in evening gowns and Eric young might have a sore neck.  Not a great episode of IMPACT but plenty of laughs to be had in this review.

The lads wrap up the show with a review of Monday Night RAW.  Again, a pretty poor show but loads of laughs as Ivan 'Drago' Rusev gets ready to destroy Apollo 'Big E' Langston – if he dies, he dies.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX Unleashed Episode 4 is up! Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they leave behind the world of professional wrestling and are unleashed on news, movies, sport and pop culture. On the show this week...

Duckman is ill.  Sir Ian gets life advice from a psychic.  Duckman reviews Godzilla (this contains spoilers so if you haven't seen Godzilla and don't want the plot ruined by an idiot like Duckman, skip from 25 minutes to 39 minutes).  Sir Ian reviews Bad Neighbours (same spoiler warning applies).  They find out who is the richest person in TV and movies in the UK.   The lads discuss the announcement of Manchester United's new manager.  There's some random news stories of the week covered and a discussion on celebrity obsession.  Plus Sir Ian names his Jar Jar Binks of the Week Award winner and takes a quiz to find out how he would die in Star Wars.

A packed show, with tons of topics covered and even a few nuggets of insight scattered throughout.  As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX90 – Meanwhile, at Russo Mountain...

MFX90 is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA.  On the show this week...

Sir Ian and Duckman discuss weird wrestling fans, the reaction of people who aren't wrestling fans when you tell them you are one, plus there's a lot of talk about WWE's stock price crash and other such fun.

The lads review IMPACT.  Well, they say they review IMPACT, but in all honesty they just spend 50 minutes pitching new TV shows for Eric Young to front, they relive more of Bram's crazy life and world views and discover that James Storm's love for Gunner runs deeper than anyone knew.

The show is wrapped up as always with the RAW review.  WWE are in London so it's sing-a-long with WWE music and catchphrases time!  Loads of fun with this review, including Jerry Lawler and his racist taxi driver almost getting the whole show thrown off the air.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX Unleashed Episode 5 is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they leave behind the world of professional wrestling and are unleashed on news, sports, movies, TV shows and pop culture in general.  On the show this week...

The lads turn their attention to the latest in an ever growing list of mass shootings in the US – which leads to a huge discussion about gun control and the culture of guns in America.  They discuss the European election results and the state of politics in the UK in 2014.  Plus there's sport chat, movies discussed and Sir Ian once again awards his Jar Jar Binks of the Week Award.

Normally MFX is all about stupid jokes and making fun of people.  This week the lads take a more serious approach and they both turn out to be a pair of old hippies.  This show is a little bit different in tone and content from usual, but hopefully just as entertaining as always.

We'd love to hear from you guys on this show and you can do that through all the usual channels.  As always, thanks for listening!

Duckman

MFX91 – This Is A Popular Thing...

MFX91 is up!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in TNA and WWE.  On the show this week...

There's not much going on in wrestling this week, so the lads discuss stupid CM Punk rumours, there's some listener feedback which is always good for a giggle, plus TNA want to know if their fans want the six sided ring back, so the lads have their say on this idea and a few other random topics.

The IMPACT review is dominated by the usual suspects – Eric Young, Faakkin Bram and Blackolution.  There's lots of talking on this edition of IMPACT and not much wrestling.  Sir Ian tries to make Duckman care, he doesn't succeed.

The RAW review wraps the show up for another week.  RAW is familiar.  Anyone get the feeling we've seen this show before?  Wyatt promo?  Check.  Daniel Bryan might have to give title up segment?  Check.  ADR having a match no one cares about?  Check.  The Shield and Evolution brawl?  Check.  Yep.  Anyway, the review is pretty funny.

As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX Unleashed Episode 6 is up! Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they leave behind the world of professional wrestling and are unleashed on news, sports, movies, TV shows and pop culture in general. On the show this week...

Sir Ian deals with estate agents, Duckman marks out for the big boxing match between Carl Froch and George Groves, the lads discuss the 'shocking' news about corruption in Fifa and the World Cup 2022 bid, there's TV shows and moves discussed as usual, plus the lads review some of the more weird news stories of the week, Sir Ian takes a quiz on his movie knowledge and also names the latest winner of the MFX Jar Jar Binks of the Week  Award.

It's a fun show this week, more jokes and less serious political chat than last week.  It's a difficult balance to strike between being funny and be interesting.  Most weeks they fail, but this week the lads nailed it!

As always, thanks for listening and remember to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

Duckman

MFX92 – Shield Wars: The Turn of The Seth.

MFX92 is up!!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA.  On the show this week...

The lads discuss NXT Takeover and how much they enjoyed the show.  There's all the usual banter with the MFX Galaxy.  Then it's on to the IMPACT review.  There's the most confusing and awkward Knockouts segment in history, Bram hits 6 Flags, Eric Young is hardly there and Samoa Joe is back.

They wrap the show up with reviews of Payback and RAW.  The PPV was great, with two top class matches and plenty to keep annoying smarks like us entertained.  Then it's on to RAW, where Randy Orton refuses to wear pants, Batista hits the red carpet and everyone cries that The Shield broke up.

Another fun show this week, the lads are off next week – so be sure to get your MFX fix while you can.  As always, thanks for listening and be sure to get involved with the show through all the usual channels.

MFX93 – RAW is roofies.

MFX93 is up!  That's right folks, after a week off the air MFX is back!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA.

The lads return with loads of chat including England crashing out of the world up, some great podcasts to check out – which leads to a big discussion about WWE's creative process.  Plus there's a look at the recent WWE talent releases.

The lads turn their attention to TNA's  Slammiversary PPV – it was really good!   So is this review.  The United Nations of the X-Division get confused, Earl Hebner is TNA's true power and he's annoying.  Plus Bram is back and Eric Young reveals the secret of his speedos.

They wrap the show up with a review of Monday Night Raw.  Vince hosts a save your job family picnic, John Cena sucks up to Roman Reigns and Boring Kane helps us end on a high...sorry.

Duckman

MFX94 – The Look Of Love.

MFX94 is up!!  Join your heroes Duckman and Sir Ian Trumps as they traverse the week in WWE and TNA.  On the show this week...

There's loads of wrestling news to kick the show off this week, with releases, promotions joining forces, injuries and the biggest news of the week – Sir Ian gets his first dividend payout for his share in WWE!

The IMPACT review is full of the usual chaos and mayhem, including Earl Hebner once again being the real star of IMPACT, Earl Hebner Jnr is just plain dumb, there's some good wrestling and Bram continues to create controversy.

The show is wrapped up with the RAW review.  So much good stuff in here folks, including HHH's audition for Game of Thrones, Stephy makes us BEG and there's also some pretty decent hype for the MITB PPV.
