I have been SOOOO out of the loop in hockey, and it showed when my stepson was talking about the playoffs (he's a huge Bruins fan).  He mentioned the Metropolitan Division, and I was like "the fuck is that?".  He then had to explain to me the realignment and radical change in playoffs.

They're so good during the regular season, but then the playoffs come and San Jose forgets how to close. At some point, you have to wonder if you can win with people like Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau on the ice. They probably won't blow it up like most teams, but man...
