Title: The Rebels (Oakland)

Yo, I'm Baxter.  I'm in charge of these Rebels.  My old man died a few years ago, and guess what?  He left me all his dough!  It's kept me in booze and broads for a good while.  Now, I get to see some fights!!  Who's gonna build this squad for me?

I'm Angel.  I handle shit for Baxter.  I guess that means, if you get hired, I'll handle shit for you too.  Don't be a prick.

Hey Bax, mind if I call you Bax? My name is Rex Evans, I had a pretty healthy career as a professional wrestler a couple of years ago, capturing a couple of World titles and accolades. I have a mind for this business, and a mind for business in general. I think I'm on par with what you guys stand for from what I've gathered so far, and I think I'd be the perfect person to take over your squad.

Yo, my friends call me Bax, so why don't you go ahead! Rex Evans huh.....I think I've heard of you. But to be honest, I've been stinking drunk for like 2 or 3 years now, so my memory ain't what it used to be. Shit that reminds me, where are my manners......

BAXTER TAKE A HEALTHY PULL FROM A BOTTLE OF JACK DANIELS BEFORE SLIDING IT ACROSS THE TABLE TO YOU.

Have a drink, and tell me why you think you're the 'perfect person' to lead my Rebels.

REX CLEARS HIS THROAT, LOOKING AT THE BOTTLE UNCOMFORTABLY

Well Bax, when I was in the ring I didn't play by the rules. I ran fast and hard, I drank a lot of alcohol, spent a lot of time behind bars, and beat the shit out of a lot of people who probably didn't deserve it. I was a renegade, a rebel. And while I do think I have the perfect mindset to make your club succeed, I haven't had a drop of liquor in two years. So if that's a prerequisite, I'll go ahead and move on, because I don't want to jeopardize the relationship I have with my son and his mother.

But if you want to put that aside and take a look at my history instead, look at my wrestling mind rather than my personal life, then I think you'll see that I'm still a rebel at heart. But I completely understand if you can't look past it.

Yo, lemme shoot straight wit ya Rex. Drinkin' ain't exactly a prerequisite....although I would like to share a slug or two with the President of my Club.....one thing you said worries me though. You said you 'were' a renegade. You 'were' a rebel. Past tense. I'm not looking for someone who USED to be one of us. I'm looking for someone who IS one of us, booze or not.

Perhaps you misunderstood. When I said "I was a renegade, a rebel" I was simply referring to how I was while I was working in the business. That was not to say I am not that way anymore. Once a renegade, always a renegade. I simply kicked the bottle.

GM FRANCHISE WALKS IN WITH A HALF FULL BOTTLE OF BUD LIGHT AND CHUGS DOWN THE REST BEFORE THROWING THE BOTTLE AWAY

So when are we hitting up the bar for tequila shots? I want to raise some hell tonight and watch a few bar room brawls in the process.

Listen here, shit for brains....I think the likelihood is high!  Tell me about yourself, and what makes you a Rebel, Mr....?

*****

So Rex, you're a Rebel without a bottle.  I can respect that, but I think I need a little convincing.  Tell me a story....a RECENT story....about some hell that you've raised.  And it better not be fiction, otherwise this bottle of JD won't be goin' in your belly, but upside your head!

Bud Light?  Tequila shots?  Who let this pussy in here?  Who the fuck are you anyway, and why do you drink such pansy shit?

Well I haven't told anybody else this, trying to keep my personal life personal after it was so public for so long, so hopefully you can respect my boundaries and not leak this to the press.

About a year ago my little brother Tommy, who was making a name for himself in Vegas growing and selling things that aren't exactly legal, attracted the wrong kind of attention and was kidnapped. It took me a couple of months to track them down, but I found a mansion hidden in the Mojave desert where the people headquartered their own business and were holding him. I'd prefer to keep most of the details murky so as to not incriminate myself, but there was a lot of skull bashing, blood and broken laws. Needless to say my brother is safe and sound, recovering somewhere I'd rather not say considering he's also wanted by the law.

Not many people know my name cause I usually punch them in the face first. But you? I see you've taken a punch or two, so I'll take it easy. My name is Fnord. No mister needed. I'm here to bust skulls and you look like you need someone to do that.

That is one helluva kickass story Rex!  THAT is the outlaw way!  The REBEL way!  You'll have to tell me more one day over a bottle of Jim Bea......umm.....spring water?  Or something?

*ahem*

So Rex, tell me how you'll make the Rebels the most feared band of misfits in the entire wrestling world?

So, you're the punch first, ask questions later kinda guy eh?  THAT'S MY KINDA PARTY!!  Hey Fnord, share a drink with me, and tell me why you're the man to be the President of this club!

Title: Re: The Rebels
Post by: Tritch on February 26, 2015, 06:25:41 PM
I'm going to establish this club in a city that is known to be full of rebels in order to attract the right kind of people, then build this team with individuals like-minded to us. Their style doesn't matter; high-flying, brawling, grappling, etc. As long as they also aren't afraid to get a little bloody and break a few rules.

Once we assemble that team I'm going to give them a clear mission statement. I'm going to give them a cause to fight for that will make it seem like not getting their hands on that championship would be the end of their hopes and dreams. I'm going to ignite the revolution, and we will run rampant on the entirety of the TCW. No one will stand in our way, because they'll know how devastating that would be for them.

Alright Rex, that about covers it for my questions.  You've given me a lot to think about.  On the one hand, you don't exactly fit the mold of what I was looking for.  On the other hand, I haven't decided if that is a good thing or a bad thing.  Is there anything else you want to tell me before we finish up here?

Also, I know that there are 9 other clubs out there, all looking for their Prez.  Don't even THINK about talkin' to any of the other ones until I get back in touch with you, you understand?  We straight here Rex?

Title: Re: The Rebels
Post by: Tritch on February 26, 2015, 07:18:29 PM
I will admit that I glanced at some of the other clubs, but I wouldn't go beyond that after seeing them. None of the other clubs could handle my gameplan here. They're too caught up with rules and image, with the exception for one but I don't feel like selling my soul.

I understand that interviewing other candidates is a requirement, so I can't ask you to show me the same respect you've asked of me. Just know that hiring anyone else would be a mistake. You don't have to drink liquor to fuck shit up. Trust me, I know.

Have a good day Bax, I'll be out back smoking while I wait for your call. And no, I'm not leaving.

I've thought long and hard about it, and even though he's not the prototypical "Rebel" that I was looking for, I have decided that to name Rex Evans the President of this club.  Welcome to the family Rex, don't let me down.

When I called my guy, he told me there was another club interested in Vegas, so that jacked the prices up.  There's a place on Freemont Street, the old Vegas Strip.  5,500 seats, $4.5 million per season.  There is another in a casino right in the heart of the new Strip.  7,000 seats, $6 million per year.

Way cheaper, but smaller buildings there.  There's a 2,500 seat facility in an industrial area for $1.5 million.  There's a 4,000 seat facility in an area with a lot of restaurants and bars, and that runs $3 million per year.

We can always move to a bigger stadium later. Let's take the restaurant district venue for $3m, just for one year if possible.

After that, I'd like to talk to Brandon Wayne about being our Head Trainer.

Well Mister, I was an accomplished amateur style wrestler in my day.  I was an alternate in the Olympics, you betcha, but never got a chance to lace 'em up!  Afterwards I went pro for a while until I ruptured a few discs in my back, and ever since then I've been passing on my knowledge to the youth dontchaknow!  An amateur base to build upon would be my specialty!  You can't do a flippy dippy from the top rope until you know how to take someone to the mat!

Title: Re: The Rebels
Post by: Tritch on March 05, 2015, 09:12:08 AM
Thanks for giving me some insight into your background. I like that you want to give kids an amateur base, I agree that it's extremely important. My trainer ran me through some of the same basics for a couple of months. But what I was really getting it at, is if you'd be okay with a little rule breaking? You seem like a stand up guy. And while I respect stand up guys, you also need to be comfortable with bending the rules a little bit around here.

It means just what you think it means chief.  I had my own ranch for years and years.  Cattle, hogs....you name it, we raised and wrangled 'em.  Got a big time offer from one of the big conglomerates, and I couldn't pass up that type of scratch chief.  So, now I'm going with my passion, the squared circle.  Hire me, and you'll have the toughest bunch of wrestlers to ever lace the boots up, I guarantee you that.

Title: Re: The Rebels
Post by: Tritch on March 05, 2015, 05:43:49 PM
So you're a corporate cowboy? Not exactly what I was hoping for. I like what you're saying about toughness though, but you can probably understand it being difficult to trust someone with no experience in the ring. What and how exactly would you say you'd be teaching the boys?

Hey now, don't go spreadin' none of that "corporate cowboy" nonsense chief.  Sometimes you just gotta make a decision to look out for your family, and if steppin' away from somethin' you love is it, then you do it.  Nothin' is more important than my family.

Now, for your boys?  Like I said before, toughness.  You can know all the fancy moves in the world, but if you crumble after a hard shot to the face, what good are ya?

Title: Re: The Rebels (Oakland)
Post by: Tritch on March 06, 2015, 09:39:28 AM
I apologize for misjudging. I know what you mean about family. I would do anything for mine. And what we're doing here in Oakland is trying to build a new family of our own. I'd like to offer you the job of becoming our Head Trainer, but I'm not yet positive you'd be the perfect fit for us. I'd like to run a one year deal as a trial of sorts, if you'd be okay with that. And I was hoping, considering you just got a ton of "scratch" from one of those conglomerates, I was hoping you wouldn't try to break our bank.

I was thinking $2m for the year, and we'd talk near the end of the year about whether or not it's a good fit. What do you think?

In a normal situation, I'd hold out for closer to $4 million chief.  But this isn't a normal situation, because The Rebels are the last game in town.  I'll shake on $2.5 million for the year.

Wrestling history I'm a little short on. I was in house legal council for several high profile sports teams in the past. I started hanging out with a few of the athletes, and started training with them. That led to me meeting some wrestlers, training with them.....eventually I saw how sloppy they were, and knew I could do it better. So for the last 5 years, that's what I've been doing.

If I understand your history correctly, you've never worked as a sports medicine doctor. I like your attitude and want to give you a shot, but without a history of working in this business I can't justify paying you much more now. If you'd like to sign on a shorter contract to prove your worth, that'd be acceptable.

Let's get Eric McCarthy on the line, Angel.

---

Pleasure to meet you, Mr. McCarthy. We've signed your client Jack Gibson, and I want to secure him a fairly long-term deal. From what my coaches have told me, at his young age I believe he is the future of tag team wrestling. I'd like to get him locked up for 5 years at $6.5m in salary. As I plan on him being one half of one of the best tag teams in the business, I'd like to add 500k PR to the deal under the proviso that it be combined with the 500k I intend to offer his tag team partner to promote the team as a whole. What do you think about this?

Let me ask you a question.  Why do you think I wear this ridiculous jacket?  Is it because of some sort of crazy fashion statement?  Oris it because I always get my clients top dollar, and it is easier to remind you all of that while wearing it?

Now, to your offer.  For a salary and PR offer like that, we'd sign for 2 years.  You want more years, up the ante.

Title: Re: The Rebels (Oakland)
Post by: Tritch on March 18, 2015, 09:12:11 AM
I'd like to get him for longer, but I don't think I can pay him much more right now. We'll sign for two years right now, and hopefully you'll consider resigning near his contract end date. Pleasure meeting and doing business Mr. McCarthy.

---

Get Benjamin Lancaster back on the line, Angel.

---

Ben, I'm sure you know what I'm here to discuss. Jacob Stance. We want him in Oakland.

I'll tell you the same thing I'm going to tell everyone.  Jacob is the hottest free agent in wrestling right now, so while we are very excited to hear that you want him in Oakland, we won't be making a decision at this time.  Give us your pitch now, then send me a private message with your offer.  Once all offers are in, we'll make a decision.

Title: Re: The Rebels (Oakland)
Post by: Tritch on March 19, 2015, 09:36:19 AM
Well, Mr. Lancaster, you are correct. Jacob Stance is the hottest free agent in wrestling right now, and I think The Rebels have the potential to be one of the hottest clubs in Team Combat Wrestling. The one thing Jacob will get here in Oakland that he won't find elsewhere, is that we're building a family here. When you put that patch on, it means something. He'll have people watching his back, in his corner. The Rebels roll together, and we want Jacob Stance to roll with us. Furthermore, I know money talks. And it certainly will be. Have a nice day, Mr. Lancaster. You'll receive our offer shortly.

---

Angel, Daniel Morse in regard to Lucas Wynn's contract please.

---

Daniel, it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm happy we were able to acquire Lucas Wynn, I think he and Jack Gibson are going to create one of the most dominant tag teams in the TCW. I'd like to offer him a 2 year deal at $5.5m, with 500k in PR under the proviso that it be combined with Jack's 500k PR to promote the team as a whole. What do you say?

Emilio, it's me again. I'm starting to like this relationship we're forming. I've signed another one of your clients, Irwin Stanford. I have to admit that I didn't scout him, but I was looking over his stats and regretted not doing so. I've heard rumblings about other people getting into some sticky situations from drafting people without scouting them, so I wanted to be up front about it and see if there were any stipulations I might have missed out on because of it?

Hey there sport.  The tough lookin' broad outside let me in.  Said she'd send for that Reeves kid when we're done talking.

Anyway, we need to talk about Jack Gibson's deal.  We need $8.5 million and $750K PR now.  Market change and all, you understand.

I suppose, but that will just distance you from the rest of the crew even more. I'll let you think about it, write you down as a Yamaha for now, if you change your mind come back into the office and let me know, okay? Talk to you later.

---

That guy's going to get eaten alive. Angel, I had a question about some finances. I've been looking into getting the whole team motorcycles to ride to shows on. I rounded up to about $20,000 for a bike, $1,000 for insurance per bike, and $500 for motorcycle lessons if they need them. With 8 guys on the team that comes to $175,000 so I rounded up to $200,000. Does this sound like an appropriate cost, and would that come out of Incentives?

With administrative fees, that'll bring the cost to $250K.  And it would come out of the Incentives budget, unless you can think of a way to frame it as Public Relations, in which case you can try to use the PR budget.

PROJECTED LINEUP

Main Event: Donnie Temple
Semi-Main Event: Jackson Cage
Tag Team #1: Jack Gibson
Tag Team #2: Lucas Wynn
Opener: James Reeves
Woman: Tigress
Bench: Punk
Sparring: Irwin Stanford

Captain: Donnie Temple

TRAINING
Jack Gibson – Resilience
Tigress – Charisma
James Reeves – Strength

PUBLIC RELATIONS
Donnie Temple – 2m PR

[1m] We want to start off the 60-second promo video by whatever was playing prior going to static and fading to black. The promo will have voice over from Donnie himself. "For decades, wrestling promoters have been shoving David vs. Goliath down your throats." After his last word, switch to 5 seconds of quickly flashing photography of Donnie wrestling in the past. "In my opinion, David was a wimp." Bright lights flash on in the background of the shot, it turns out it wasn't a black screen but a shot of a dark stage. The lights are nearly blinding but the silhouette of a man steps forward, he flips his hair out of his face as lights shine on the front of him, showing Donnie. "I'm Donnie Temple, and I don't need a religious gimmick to kick your ass." He says with a smirk, as the video slides into a highlight package of his career thus far for the remainder of the 60 seconds.

[500k] We want a full apparel package. Skullcap beanies, bandanas, t-shirts, patches, small towels, hoodies, the whole nine. We want two sets, one that just says "Donnie Temple" and has his logo or face on it (logo for smaller things like hats, face for bigger things like shirts). The other set will have his silhouette on the shirts and bigger items, with the lights behind him, just like in the commercial and it will say "NOT DAVID."

[500k] At the first home show of the season, we will have Donnie Temple night. The first 50 fans to enter the arena will be given a Donnie Temple loot box of apparel and goodies, and be invited to an exclusive meet and greet party with the man himself after the show.

Jack Gibson & Lucas Wynn: Domination – 1m PR

[500k] A 30-second television spot showcasing individual footage from their careers in tag teams, with a voiceover making mention to how many tag team titles have been held between the two of them. Try to find, or create if we have to, footage of the two of them walking together and shaking hands with like a nod. "Witness the birth of domination" will be the final lines spoken over this clip of them shaking hands.

[500k] We want to get a full apparel package. Skullcap beanies, bandanas, t-shirts, patches, small towels, hoodies, the whole nine. We want three different sets, one with just Jack, one with just Lucas, and then one with them both: GIBSON, WYNN, DOMINATION. On the back of shirts, we want it to say "Witness the birth of domination" just like the commercial.

Jack Gibson – 250k PR

[250k] We want to have Jack hold a charity event for Make-a-Wish, where he has a Guitar Hero competition with any kids who want to take him on. It doesn't matter if he's good or not, it's nice to let the kids win obviously. He'll also take the kids on short rides on his new motorcycle with parental permission and, of course, a helmet.

Motorcycles – 250k Incentives

We will spend a maximum of $20k on a Harley Davidson motorcycle for each member of the team, leading to 8 bikes. We will then pay for lessons and licensure if needed, and then insurance and administrative fees. (Irwin Stanford special order: Yamaha instead of Harley). These bikes will then be used for various events, like the charity rides described below, and so that the team can ride into shows together as one.

The Rebels Ride – 750k PR (250k per event)

On three separate occasions throughout the season, the whole team will go on a charity ride starting in Oakland and heading south. Fans and people from the community and other celebrities will be invited and welcome to donate and join the ride.

The team is back from training camp.  Here's a few notes for you:

~ Donnie Temple was giving James Reeves shit about being the 'alleged' son of Devils owner Herschel Reeves.  The two had to be separated more than once.
~ Irwin has been ostracized from the rest of the team for riding a Yamaha instead of a Harley.
~ Doc Bell is treating Tigress for an infection she received while getting a Rebels Tattoo.
~ Gibson and Wynn are bonding well, as they've become traveling buddies.

The trainers are putting together the team sheet for you.  Once I get it to you, you'll be expected to put out a press release before speaking to your Head Trainer.

Thank you for coming. Many of you might look at this group of athletes and simply see a bunch of wrestlers who have had individual success, but aren't likely to make much of an impact as a team. I'm here to correct you, and prove you wrong. The Rebels are a family, and we're here to raise hell and prove to the world that we're the best team of athletes on the planet, let alone Team Combat Wrestling.

With an expert training staff, one of the best doctors in the industry, and a few wrestlers who have already established themselves as stars, we're going to skyrocket to the top of this company and bring home the championship. I believe in that, and I believe in this team.

I'm very glad I was able to piece them together. When I got their scouting reports back, I knew they'd make a great team, and that was only multiplied by the fact that they already had a history together. I look forward to seeing them do work.

Anything else I need to know? If not, how should we proceed before locking in for the week? I'm still new to management, I'm used to being one of the guys running around in the ring throwing 'bows and shoulders.

Okay we'll push forward with you in the lineup. I believe in you!

If you want to come with me, I want to talk to the whole team quick before we lock in.

---

Gather up guys. I'm glad to see you working so hard in training camp and leading into our first week in this organization. I believe in this team, I believe in each and every one of you. When I set out to build the Rebels, I wanted to build a family. And I think that's what I've done. Within a few weeks, I want you to be looking across the training room and calling your teammates brother and sister because that is the bond I want to build on this team. If we go into this with a bond like that, nobody will be able to compete with us.

And while I realize families bicker, it has been brought to my attention that two things have gone too far. Irwin is a part of this family. So he prefers Yamahas and bright colors, who gives a fuck? He is on this team, he is a part of this family. I don't want to see him being ostracized I want to see him included in what we're doing here because I see him as a valuable member of this team.

Furthermore, If you have a problem with any of your teammates, I want you to bring it to me and we'll settle it the right way. Donnie, James, cut the shit. Everyone has heard the rumors, that doesn't mean there is any truth behind them, and if James doesn't want people bringing it up then don't bring it up.

We're here to wrestle. We're here to fight. Not with each other, but with every other team out there trying to take our title. OUR... title. Now let's go out there and beat up the Shoot Club. Alright?

Rex was a good guy, but you need someone that ain't afraid to push the boundaries, and do what needs to be done to make sure The Rebels is the name on everyone's lips when they talk about the team to beat. There's a pretty damn good team assembled here, and coaching is top notch. You're just missing one thing, and that's me, Domingo Cruz. We've already lost some valuable time, so ask me whatever you want but I'm ready and eager to get to work.

I know I am that son of bitch who can lead this team , because of my wrestling background , I been in the game for a long time , 15 years.  I been a wrestler , so I know how each and everyone of them wrestlers feels they get into that ring. You need a leader make sure that each wrestler is prepared for every match.  This is a great team that has been assemble,  but ability can only carry you so far . I can make sure that each person ready mentally , not just physically. They need someone that tough , take no shit from them or anyone else and will not cut them any slack.  I will not rest , will not slack , will not give an inch in taking this team to greatness.  Greatness is what you want and it what I can bring to this team.  They will not go unprepared for any opponent, knowledge is power  and no one has more knowledge about wrestling than me. You want greatness for this team, look no farther than me.  I will bring greatness or I will die trying.

You better believe I'm gonna speak, boss. What I'm not going to do though, is blow smoke up your ass. I have some experience in the ring, but experience about what these guys are going through in that ring isn't the end all solve all to this business. What you need is what I can provide, and that is a strong leadership role. You want someone that is going to run this club, not someone looking to buddy up and bend over because I know what these guys are going through and feel sorry for them. This is a big investment for you, and I want you to have a big return by proving to this league that The Rebels are a team that the other clubs need to fear when they see us coming up on the schedule. You already know you have the team, it's time you hire it's leader.

I been looking over the team sheet and Mr. Evans has done a fine job with assembling a great team here . so I don't any reason to make big changes , but I do have question for you  both .  Last week James Reeves started over Irwin Stanford in the opening spot ... but your evaluations   states that Stanford is better the Reeves ,  Should we start Reeves this week against the Wildcats or should we move Stanford to the opening spot and move Reeves to the bench .  I want the best possible team in this match , so I want your thoughts  about this move

Hey there Chief, damn nice to meet ya!!  Irwin is a mite better than James, no doubt about it, so on paper the move makes sense.  The thing you gotta ask yourself is this - will making changes after week 1 effect the clubs morale?  That one I can't answer hoss.

Not too hot Chief.  Reeves and Temple had ta be separated after last weeks card, something we haven't dealt with yet.  Also, Irwin has been having difficulty fitting in since he got here.

she going to be at 100 percent soon .  That what I want to hear .  Great Mr. Bell and you should be commended for the excellent job that you done getting her back to 100 percent.   Thank you sir for your time and it was nice meeting you .  You can leave now I got a few issues to deal with this team .

Can I see Donnie Temple and James Reeves in my office right now

Hello gentleman, My name is Black Death , I am the new club president.  It nice to meet you two ,   I am glad to be the president of what will be the first TCW Championship team.  Now that we got the formalities out of the way.  You know it my  first day on the job, you know on your first day , it should be easy .   You set up your office , you meet your staff , you get to know the layout of the building,  you test out the coffee ,  you meet your co-workers.  You know typical shit... no not my first day , my first day is little bit different... because I got a problem... you two are my problem!

Now I have read and I have been told that you two have had an issue with each other and it been going on for quite awhile now.  I do not need to know the details , quite frankly I do not care about the details... I want you two to know... this Shit...Ends... NOW!  I don't care who did this or who said that.  You are not fucking children!,  you are gown men ... act like it  ,   you are also  teammates.  Does not mean you two have to be friends with each other,  BFFs ,  or something ,  forgot that shit. but it does mean you two have to co-exist.  This team has all  the right pieces in place to win the championship this season and I will not see that fucked up over personal issues between teammates.  I will not allow that shit to happen... No chance in hell.  When you are on this Team, Team comes first

so for now on ,  no  more teasing , no more locker room fights,   no more negative shit ...  Your goal when you are on this team is to help this team win the championship, that it.  That all you should be thinking about ... How do I make myself better , so the team would be better.  We are Rebels , We are Strong and we do not fight among each other.  We kick the shit out of everyone else not a Rebel. Plain and Simple.

That pretty much it ... You know  I am good guy,  once you get to know me.  if your are doing right for the team, I will take care of you.   But if you are putting yourself before the team , if I feel that your not about the Rebels winning it all. If I feel that you are not committed 100 percent to this team.   I will make your life a living hell.  If you don't think I can do that ... test me and find out

So right now I want to hear these words coming from your mouths ... Sorry boss , I  understand and it will not happen again.

Press Statement

This going to be a short statement ... First I would like to congratulate the team on there victory  yesterday , it was a hard fought battle ,  but in the end the best team won and that was the Rebels.  I am proud  of the hard work that each team member put in this week and look forward to the Rebels continue success next week against the Shark Tank. They are also another talented team , but they don't have the wrestlers that we got . I see another win and another step closer to getting that title.

I don't have much to say about the statement of Mr. Temple, I am sorry he feels that it was a threat , because it was not. I was letting him know  the rules that I have for the team. I was stating that him what happens if things get out of line. That is it, if he saw it as a threat... that his problem , not mine.  All I care about is that he preforms at the best of his abilities and help get this team to the championship... because the Rebels are all that matters and it all that I care about.

speaking of the Wildcats , I think Franchise has got himself a real problem there with his trainer and assistant trainer , going to need to get that straight out if that team is going to get better.  Also T-chen needs to worry about his own team and keep my name out of his mouth, can not wait to make him eat his words

That is it for this statement, Rebels are going to win next week also . because that is what we do, We win

thank you and good day

Well, I kept a lid on it, but after your meeting with Temple last week, he didn't show up to practice. I didn't know if he'd show up for his match or not, he didn't show up until about a half hour prior. So, Temple and Reeves didn't have a chance to get into it.

Title: Re: The Rebels (Oakland)

I see ... What his mood now... do you think he going to skip this week match. Because it not like we don't have options.

Just I do not what to be a man short before the main event , We face the shark tank this week and there a good team. On paper we got the opener and the team tag match .  Women's match , the Sharks have the advantage and It toss up in the semi-main, Jackson Cage same to be evenly match with his opponent.  So the match might come down to the main event. I don't want to lose it by default if the kid no shows it ...

so should we nip this in the bud  now or should wait and see if the kid going to come through and do is job?

well... we will keep  it business as usual for the time being. Can  not really punish him at this moment , he did show up and wrestle and he help us get the win.  I don't like to hear he miss practice, but it could be that it is one time thing.  But keep me updated on situation.  No use in making worse if we don't have to...

Mr. Elliot is there any other issues with the other members of the team that I need to know about.

To start out I will not be speaking about Mr. Temple at this moment.  Unlike him, I prefer to handle club business within the club.  But rest assure that I will be having a nice long chat with him about our issues. This thing will be settle between us this week. I can guarantee you that.

I am happy about the win...the Rebels, 3-0 so far, I am very proud of the team, the ones who went out there and gave it their all. I especially would like to commend the hard work of Tigress, who may not have pick up the victory, but damn sure impressive in her match. She has nothing to be ashamed of. It was one hell of a match. He makes me proud to call her a Rebel.  Rebels are right on track to win the championship and nothing going to stop us from reaching that goal and I pity the person or thing that stands in the way of achieving that goal.

Next week Match up is against the Rockets. A strong team on paper, but this matches are not done on paper. I know many people are picking the Rockets to come out on top, but that is not going to happen, The Rebels will overcome this challenge like they overcome all the challenges that they have face some far. Rockets are just another team that stands in our way and we are going to knock that challenge down also.

Really don't have much else to say, Wildcats has a big problem with their trainer getting attack. I wonder who could have done such a thing.  I hope Franchise can figure it out before all hell breaks loose over there.  Johnny Rebel has inherited a big mess in the Rebellion.  I hope he can right the ship really quickly

Thank you everyone and have a nice day

Mr. Elliot... before we speak about Mr. Temple , I  need  you answer me a question. What are his teammates stance on  him.  Because before I make a decision on him , I want to know how they are going to react.  Do they like him , do  they want  to kick the shit out of him for what he did last week. So what is his status with the teammates in  the locker room?

I ain't seen anything like it before chief.  Despite his actions, the team has his back.  The word is, he told the boys that if we didn't already have the 'W' locked up, he never woulda pulled his stunt.  He says it was a shot at you, not at them.

That's all second hand information though.  He still ain't said a word to me since this whole mess wit you started.

Keep of the  great work.  Thanks for your time.

Can I speak to James Reeves Please

But that not why I ask you in my office today , I want to talk about  Donnie Temple , and  his lay down in the ring. I wanted to get your take on it and  to ask you how are the other guys reacting . Does the team have his back on  his actions?

As I'm sure you know, he and I don't see eye to eye on a personal level.  So I may not be the best person to ask this question.  That said, I was in the room when you threatened to 'make life a living hell' if Donnie and I didn't straighten up.  Now, he seems to have taken much more offense to that comment than I did, although if you remember I wasn't too happy about it either.

Personally, I think he needs to grow up, be a man, and do his job.  But the rest of the team?  Well, they're kinda on his side.  They saw the Dirt Sheet report, then they saw that you didn't reach out to him after that.  He didn't cost us a win or anything.....as much as I hate to say it, I think the boys did a 180 and are with him on this one.

Mr. Temple ... you should know by now , you don't have to be smart to be in charge. There plenty of examples of that everywhere in life.

But I get it... I owe you an apology and I owe you acknowledgment of your skills.  I am sorry about threatening you on my first day, I was wrong. I should have realize that you were just having some fun with Reeves and it was no big deal. Nothing that warranted me insulting you and threatening you. I was a total asshole.

Also you give the team the best shot at winning the title and I need to treat you with more respect.  You are a damn great wrestler and worth everything that you are being paid.

I ask you know can we move pass this thing that is going on between us and move toward something more positive...beating the Rockets and getting one step closer to winning a championship.

Press Release from the Office of Rebels President Black Death

I Black Death would like to make a formal apology to Donnie Temple of The Rebels Wrestling Club.  I am sorry for the way that I threaten him back in my office a few weeks ago , I was in the wrong and  a asshole to him for no reason. Mr Temple was having some fun with one of his teammates ,  it was not a big deal  and I acted in the wrong manner and for that I want to say I  am sorry and I am going to treat Mr. Temple with the respect that he deserves.

Donnie Temple is a great wrestler and worth the money that the Rebels are paying him. He gives the Rebels the best chance to win the Championship this season and I am damn happy to have this man wrestling for this team.

I want to say again I am sorry Mr. Temple and thank you for being a member of the Rebels

Rebels Press Statement

Last week's Events

Fantastic job by my team to get that win, We are also undefeated , so no matter what President Vega wants to deceive himself or his Devils., no matter how much he wants it not to be true ,  Rebels are also undefeated and will stay that way.  It was a hard fought match up with the Rockets. There were not a cake walk by no means , but we came together as a team and pull off a great victory. I am proud of them. A great win...A great job

On the News Story

It is hard to admit when you did something wrong , but that what I did , I made the wrong choice in how I acted and how I spoke. I am glad that Donnie Temple was gracious enough in accepting my sincere apology. I am glad that we can put that behind us now and move forward. We have the best team in the league and we continue to prove it week , after week , after week. No matter what some other presidents think. Rebels are strong and will continue to get stronger.

Around the League

When man with integrity of Gerry Nichols  said he was robbed , we should listen to him. I find it distasteful that Devils have to resort to tricks and underhanded tactics to get there wins. A victory not earned with honor and integrity is not worth winning.

Wildcats  have got a real mess on there hands .  Lee took out his friend and trainer Masuka ... Shocking , but I am to wonder why he did it? Did someone put him up to it? Lee just get mad at his friend? I am interested to see what happens next and how President Franchise hands this growing situation

That XJ Hawkins is on amazing roll , That was a fantastic match he had with Rory McCaul. I am fan of great wrestling and that was a great match.

I don't think it  just yoga that helping the Devils , but that just my opinion, but  come on I can not  be the only one who thinks this  ... yoga can not make such a quick change  happen with Wade and Trainer Wrinwright.  There something else going on there.  But hey I could be wrong.

Next Weeks Match-up

The Union Jacks  are up next , another good team coming off a tough loss and with Rory McCaul hurting.   But there still good , not to be underestimate  and we are going to be in for a tough fight .  But I know what my team can do and we are going to get that win. The Union Jacks are not going to make it easy , but we are still going to win .  Rebels are going to continue to roll toward that championship. The Union Jacks are not going to stop us, Nobody is going to stop us.

Thank you all for your time and have a nice day

Cage dropped another match. He's looked shaky in there at times, I'm not sure if he still has it, and I'm not sure he realizes it yet.

I can understand your concern, I had a chat with Cage awhile back. He a team player and wants to win for us , but he has express that he knows that his time is coming to end , but I think he got something left in the tank.  I don't want to pull that trigger on him  just yet.

Also we have to look at who would enter in his spot. We could put Reeves in that spot , he been doing a hell of a job in the opener and think he a future main event talent ,  but he maybe not ready yet. But next season I think he could easily fit there with no problem. We could move Cage into the opener , i we move Reeves,  but I bet you he would get pissed at that , We could move Stanford into the opening spot , I know he would do a hell of a job there , but that would leave cage out and he not going to be happy about that either.  No chance in hell were breaking up Gibson and Wynn , Best team in the game right now. I don't see them losing a match all season.

I think we need to keep an eye on  Cage  moving forward.  but use cation right now.  We are still winning and I don't want to upset the team by making any undue changes unless we have too.  President T-bone of the Rockets found that out the hard way.  I will have another chat with him once we are done. See where his head is at... But I say we tread lightly right now. But it is something we maybe have to address later down the line.

Any other concerns Mr. Elliot?

Well, now that you mention it...I am concerned about the state of our nations food supply.  You got one side saying GMO's are bad and will kill you, then you got the other side saying that it makes no difference at all.  Then you got the gluten free people, who don't even have celiac disease and just like to be on a trend....it makes you wonder what you should be feeding your family!

Ah, It does make you think Mr. Elliot , It might be something that we need to address as a nation , but at the moment, don't think there much I can do about it. I must say very insightful  Mr. Elliot,  It was always nice to chat with you Mr. Elliot , I will let you get going , you have a nice day.

Can I speak to Doctor Bell please

Last Weeks Event

Sorry for the delay ,  It was a tough loss and to lose it way we did ... losing is always rough , but it now that the Rebels can prove how good  they really are. We are going to show everyone that we are the best team in the league. Because the true measure of a champion is not that they get knock down and how they react when they get back up.  We are going to be stronger because of it,  Were still one number in the standings and we are going to win the title this year. One set back is not going to stop us. What does not kill you makes you stronger.

On the News Story

Going to talk to the Doctor and check on the health of Donnie Temple . It was a sickening thing to watch and my hope is that there is no lingering effects.  I just hope he is Ok.

Around the League

Oh poor Devils ... oh who did not see that coming.  I mean come on it was plain as day .

Next Weeks Match-up

We got the shoot club next... I will make this short and sweet , there in trouble. We are not happy about losing and we are going to take our frustrations out on them. We are going to bounce back with a vengeance.  No chance in hell we are going to lose this match.   Thank you for your time.

we lost , it happens ...I knew we more than likely would not go unbeaten... I am more concern about the condition of Donnie Temple. It a long season and if the team is going to win the championship. We are going to need everyone going at all 100 percent.  I do not want to risk long term health issues for him.  How is he? do you know anything about  his condition ?
