- Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is set to undergo knee surgery next week for a torn ACL suffered in training. However, that doesn't mean we can't see GSP in action, as he will be appearing in the upcoming film, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

St-Pierre, who announced plans to take a break from fighting in the UFC last December, stars as Batroc in the movie, which premiers in North America on Friday. You can see a clip of GSP in the video above.

Batroc is a mercenary and a master of the French form of kickboxing known as savate. He first appeared in the Marvel universe in 1966.

I couldn't help but think hat GSP is the new JVD while watching this movie, I enjoyed his scenes, hopefully he gets more acting work in the future since that seems to make him happy.
